One of the reasons why our Education System is so pathetic is that our children are not being correctly taught our own American history and philosophy. Then they grow up listening and believing whatever the manipulators behind pop culture are seeding throughout our citizens and young ones.
It is to break our wills. To make us believe we are not in charge of our government.
Rights are not gifts from government
It’s not really “liberty” if it requires a government permission slip.This view is almost totally lost among the general public today – but it was common among the founders and old revolutionaries. Thomas Jefferson may have summed it up best:
“A free people claim their rights, as derived from the laws of nature, and not as a gift from their chief magistrate.”
This “natural rights” view is the foundation for all the rest. And getting the foundation right is essential for getting the solution right too – that is, going from where we are today to a real “land of the free.”
That’s why we focus so much time and energy on teaching people about these foundational principles from the American Revolution.
And they will continue to do so IF WE LET THEM.
Doubt me?
For those paying attention to the idiocy on college campuses, they are protesting the “genocide” that Israel is meting out to the Palestinian savages that killed over 1,200 Israelis at a music festival. Yet, how great can that be when 20% of Israeli citizens are Arabs? How can that be when the population in Gaza exploded from 91,000 in 1960 to 2,200,000 in 2023? And while Arabs remain in Israel and are 20% of the citizens, all Jews were kicked out of Gaza when Israel left Gaza in 2006.
Here, ask a young person (and many older people), what is a Right as an American citizen? And if it IS a Right, WHY is it a Right, and can the Government ever take it away?
Certainly, the Gilford School Board, as many regular readers know, tried to take away our Right to Free Speech when they made it mandatory that a young child could force anyone on school property to be called by pronouns established by a child. They also pulled another ” ideological rabbit out of their hat” by forcing their staff to lie to parents (TO PARENTS!!!) concerning the gender dysphoria status (“transgender” – yet another made-up word by the Left) of their children and deleted the Right (affirmed many times in judicial decisions) for parents to raise their children in the manner in which THEY determine – not schools. It took 2.5 years of fighting them to win that battle.
Yet, the lowest subdivision of the State decided, amongst five school board members, that they had the power to do so.
Shame on us ALL for not keeping our school systems from straying from what they should be doing, education, and letting them be ideological centers…
All because too many of us don’t know what a Right is?
So,, quick question for you, dear readers: How many of you know what a negative Right is compared to a positive Right? And why is it important?

The “rule of law” in today’s America is APARTHEID. The Woke-Communists do NOT have to abide by the rules that apply to you. You are a second-class citizen. But keep pretending that we can find “common ground” with people who despise and loathe you and think nothing of imprisoning you.

Before beginning a discussion of ethics in municipal government, we must understand what ethics entails. Ethics, by definition, is the discipline dealing with what is good and bad: a set of moral principles or values, the principles of conduct governing an individual or a group, a guiding philosophy based on right and wrong.
The public rightfully expects its elected officials to conduct themselves with honesty and integrity. Working for the common good and representing democracy, demand these standards to function effectively.
Trust is the key word to describe the appropriate relationship between elected or appointed officials and their constituents. An elected official gains the privilege to serve only by earning the trust of a majority of the electorate. Each official must be careful not to compromise that trust in any way once he or she has been inducted into office.
The topic of open meetings and open records is one of central importance to the public’s perception of how government operates. (Freedom of speech). A government that functions in secrecy by meeting behind closed doors restricts public access to full information about its operations. Such actions alienate and discourage those citizens who wish to participate in the process. Therefore, it is the duty of the people to openly communicate between citizens and with their government. Simultaneously, provisions must be allowed for reasonable constraints where necessary for the efficient operation of government.

The occupation of public office requires the public’s trust. A fair balance of communication must be struck between protecting the integrity of government while maintaining transparency with the public. The people have responsibilities as well. They must stay informed and be vigilant. After all we “the people” are the protectors of our local government.
The duties of town officials may seem complex at first glance, but in reality, they boil down to a single idea: fair representation of the public interest. The goal is to ensure that the public is fairly represented by themselves or a person whom they have freely chosen to do so.
This is both an honor and a burden, as ethics tend to constrain the personal actions of elected officials in many ways. A careful balance must be struck to encourage competent individuals to serve in public office. The problem of finding qualified citizens to hold office is exacerbated by many possible constraints, the simplest being those of time, work, family life, health, well-being, and happiness. The most complex may be experience or the possibility of conflict of interest. Ethics can allow for optimal conflict-free action in the town while protecting the people from potential misuse of government. Additionally, voters should be allowed to raise their concerns and participate in the town process at every level. It is here where the voice and influence of the individual citizen is strongest. Preserving and encouraging local self-governance and accountability is critical to securing public participation in government and safeguarding our democratic institutions.

Last week should have been a coming together of the world in Normandy to pay homage to the brave men and women who stormed the beaches and fell from the sky 80 years ago to begin the end of the German plan to dominate the globe.
Very few of our Greatest Generation are still with us, and there may not be any when we mark the 85th anniversary. These brave heroes, many of them pushing or already passed the century mark, traveled to Normandy to say goodbye to their fallen brothers buried at what is now a sacred place. Unfortunately, these men are probably still haunted in their sleep by visions of the day the ocean in France turned red with American blood. These days of remembrance, sorrow, and joy should have been all about them, but politics has a way of injecting itself into any moment.
President Biden was in Normandy to mark the day, and unfortunately, he looked as old and feeble as the survivors being celebrated. Volodymyr Zelenskyy was also there, and his hand was out for more of America’s money to fund the never-ending battle between Ukraine and Russia. He looked into Joe Biden’s aviators without batting an eye and asked for a cool hundred billion. Since the Biden Family and the DNC are getting kickbacks from every dollar sent to Ukraine, Joe looked at Volodymyr and said is that all you need?
We have had no accountability for where Ukraine spends our money. But this is the first time Biden has made stipulations regarding the donation. -None of the weapons or arms can be used for offensive measures within the Russian boundary. Biden’s commitment to Ukraine is for defensive measures only, or the money stops. This policy change is consistent with Biden’s pressure and restrictions on Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel.
It is as difficult to determine the amount of funds pledged to Ukraine as it is to ascertain how Ukraine spends our money. Since 2022, nearly $100 billion has been given to Ukraine through bills passed through Congress. Joe Biden has also executed 54 drawdowns.
The USAI is a Defense Department-led program focused on increasing Ukraine’s defenses against Russian aggression through military training, equipment, and intelligence support. The USAI has allocated approximately $18.9 billion for Ukraine since Russia’s February 2022 invasion.
While the data below represents most of the security assistance sent to Ukraine, only some transactions are publicly available, meaning some funds are unaccounted for.
The bottom line is we have sent billions of dollars with no idea when this conflict will end. Then, Ukraine will be looking for funds to rebuild a war-torn country. There also have been no reports of Biden trying to get Putin and Zelenskyy to a negotiation table. These two countries are in a stalemate, with Russia wanting to get Ukraine back into Russia and Ukraine fighting for its freedom. Military personnel and civilians on both sides continue to suffer injury or death, and Ukraine is incurring damage to its countryside daily. The longer this conflict goes, the more will need to be rebuilt. Before another dollar of American money is pledged to Ukraine, we need an accounting of where our money has gone and when the two sides will sit and end this fruitless battle.

Iowa has become the latest state to signal hostility toward fake meat food products, imposing fines of up to $10,000 on manufacturers who mislabel protein-based products as meat.
Other states, including Florida, have banned meat-simulating products outright rather than require labeling. Meats “cultured” from plant proteins in a laboratory are not available for sale on Americans’ grocery store shelves. Still, the growing culture wars over their future reveal much about the products themselves.
Advocates for restricting or labeling these nouveau meat substitutes argue that confusing labels deceive consumers, meat-copied products are unsafe to eat, and globalists seek to compel human dependency on alternatives to nature’s provision. Those opposing such restraints invoke free markets, consumer choice, and unfair favoritism for industrial agriculture as their rallying cries. These voices claim fake meat will save the world from existential climate doom, end animal suffering, and offer people healthier eating choices.
Food is now fair game in the culture war crossfire, especially manmade food versus “natural” food grown and processed traditionally. There is no evidence that cell-grown meats carry a cancer risk. There is, however, ample evidence that the three main drivers of fake meat consumption – animal welfare, human health, and ecological impact – are not served by processed meat alternatives. It also is increasingly evident that, despite billions of dollars in investment, fake meat cannot be grown at scale or cost-effectively, meaning the entire brouhaha over labeling and banning may prove to be a red herring dispute over products that will never actually exist.
Left-wing media has pounced on red-state bans and labeling initiatives of fake meat as culture war paranoia, often gushing about how these nouveau foodstuffs will stave off animal cruelty, rescue humanity from climate-destroying agriculture, and provide cheap, healthy food to the world’s poor. In the rush to distort science to advance political notions, such dreams are popular – just not scientific. Using animals for food is not cruel if they are slaughtered humanely after a life of conscientious husbandry. Advocates of plant-only diets call to eliminate all animals from the food chain because of the alleged abuses of industrialism, ignoring that millions of livestock enjoy balanced lives with no suffering, as has been the case for eons.
Similarly, cows and other animals rotationally grazed rather than confined in feedlots are not the destroyers of the ecosystem but its saviors. Cows on grass sequester more carbon dioxide and methane in the soil with their manure than they ever belch out, improving water retention and soil health in the bargain. Synthetic fertilizers used to grow plant-meat (or vegan) diets destroy soils and the microbiome. GMO crops dependent on glyphosate and fossil fuels for production and harvesting compromise human and ecosystem health.
Fake Meat Opponents BashedNevertheless, the usual cow-bashing suspects have proliferated to criticize those who oppose fake meats as ill-informed, unenlightened attackers of consumer liberties (or, as one opinion claimed, “low-IQ red state denizens”). Popular Science unscientifically claimed that “Republican lawmakers opposed to cultivated meat, broadly, have attempted to connect the industry to a larger supposed culture war.”
There is most certainly a broader culture war at play, in which newfangled science partnered with venture capitalist profiteers seek to impose their products on unsuspecting consumers. Republicans are faulted for invoking a “culture war” over transgenderism, yet, like fake meat, that “supposed” conflict is a recoil against novel surgeries and hormones for children touted as lifesaving. So, too, are changes in America wrought by critical race theory and new vaccine technologies.
Vox characterizes challenges to fake meat as an unscientific attack against farmers by corporate profiteers:
“On the surface, bills aiming to ban cell-cultivated meat could be waved away as mere political theater, a ratcheting up of the culture war by attacking alternatives to factory-farmed meat as a cheap way to own the libs during an election year.
“But there’s something more troubling at play here. The proposed bans are part of a longtime strategy by the politically powerful agribusiness lobby and its allies in Congress and statehouses to further entrench factory farming as America’s dominant source of protein.
“If lawmakers are really concerned with deceptive labeling, they may want to focus their efforts in the meat and dairy aisle, where consumers have long been misled by warm and fuzzy terms like ‘sustainable’ and ‘humanely raised,’ both of which have no legal definition.”
Vox is advocating for a multi-billion-dollar food processing industry hellbent on profiting from meat-simulating GMO plants as a cheap way to own the food supply. Pointing fingers at the “politically powerful agribusiness lobby” hardly excludes the fake meat industry: Many of the world’s largest meat producers and processors are also heavily invested in the fake meat market. GMO labeling requirements enable consumers to make informed purchasing decisions: Why should meat buying be any different? If the terms “sustainable” and “humanely raised” are suspect, then what of the ubiquitous clamor over the warm and fuzzy term “renewable”?
Fake meat fantasies closely resemble renewable manufacturing boondoggles. That vague term conceals the simple truth that supposedly “renewable” products end up in landfills, generate massive quantities of chemical pollutants in their manufacture, are heavily subsidized, enjoy regulatory favoritism. GMO crops are favored with massive federal subsidies, then used to fabricate fake meat in huge vats in climate-controlled factories, polluting the planet far more than cows munching grass. And so Americans are quite right to scrutinize the claimed benefits, as well as implicit shortcomings, of meat imposters.
The fake meat debate will fade faddishly into the rearview mirror. Cultured meats cannot be produced at scale, cost-effectively, or without creating more environmental harm than benefit. They will not succeed in a free market any better than EVs, even if they do taste like that which they seek to copy. A ban of fake meats is unnecessary, but protecting buyers by clarifying what is in their foods is fundamentally just. Ensuring fake meat products are clearly labeled will sufficiently inform consumers to avoid them.

If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it hundreds of times: When the government interferes in the marketplace, bad things happen. Minimum wage mandates are not the least of these worries, but meddlers will meddle and, in the face of facts, still think they know better.

Gov. Nuisance and the California legislature scheduled a series of wage hikes for the good of the people (natch!). That was their story, and they stuck to it. Enough fools believed them, but these mandates predictably harmed the state and the people they claimed they would help.
“California businesses have been under total attack and total assault for years,” said Tom Manzo, CABIA president and founder in a statement to Fox Business, adding “It’s just another law that puts businesses in further jeopardy.”
According to Manzo, nearly 10,000 fast food jobs have been cut across the state since Newsom signed Assembly Bill 1287 into law last year.
“You can only raise prices so much,” he said. “And you’re seeing it. People are not going to pay $20 for a Big Mac. It’s not going to happen.“
So, why do it? Why make changes to wage laws that every law of economics and common sense tells us will result in more harm than good? Union bosses. By jacking up base pay, the unions can raise dues and reap more money to spend on themselves, Democrat campaigns, and boots-on-the-ground activism.
Meanwhile, all over California,
“Restaurants are struggling to stay above water, and Democrats just threw them an anvil,” California Assembly Republican leader James Gallagher told FOX Business. “We warned Democrats this new mandate would cost jobs. They ignored us, and here we are with the highest unemployment rate in the country poised to get even worse.”
The “digital options” that many fast food franchises are referring to are automated ordering systems as well as robot workers which are slowly but surely becoming more cost effective than human laborers. At least one fast food location in California is testing a fully robotic restaurant with no human workers.
And that’s not even the moral of the story. That would be how Democrats in your state and mine want to be like California. They probably propose minimum wage hikes every session or nearly advertised as good for workers but that’s backward.
It is up to you (and us) to ensure people know the truth. If you need a real-world example of why not to do it, remember to thank Gov. Nuisance and California.

This is an email I sent to the whole NH House. I met with the Speaker yesterday and the clerk. This motion will take place early in the day. Please email your state representative and ask them to support the motion.

As many of you know, the People have been asking us legislators to get to the root of the problems and fix them when it comes to DCYF and Family Court.
The current special committees have laid ground work for this, yet there seems to be pressure on them to only utilize some of the tools they possess but not others, and to only analyze some of the issues, but not others. Certain actions that would procure needed information are highly discouraged, and consequences may result if one digs too deep. The policies on these committees is to listen to the people, gather information about issues with the laws, and recommend legislation to fix those laws, but do not name names of those perpetrating abuse against the people.
It is true there are serious systems issues, as well as constitutional issues, that the special committees are looking into and working on bringing legislation for, and I commend that for that work.
However, there are also allegations of personnel issues, conflicts of interest, even racketeering, and outright repeated abuse by specific officials. Such claims have been brought up repeatedly over the years in testimony before various committees on these matters, yet the problems remain, more victims are made each year, and they are told not to name names.
No one from DCYF has been questioned by the Special Committee on DCYF, and only one family court judge was questioned by the Special Committee on Family Court.
The legislature is a check on the other two branches of government. We are the Peoples’ branch. Given the number of lawsuits resulting from failures of the state to protect children, and the short time children have to live out their childhoods, we cannot spend any more time only hacking at the branches of this thorny bush without also working on digging up the rotten root.
It is not only our job to hear grievances and make bills to change statute for the future in hopes it fixes the policy problems.
We also are the Grand Inquest of the State.
Where repeated offenses are occurring against the People, namely children, at the hands of our State government, and where lawsuit after lawsuit results in damages awarded but no substantive changes in the policies or personnel involved, the legislature has a duty to investigate, utilizing every tool it has to get to the root of the problem.
Therefore, this Thursday, before regular business and after the introductory ceremonies, there will be a motion to suspend House Rules in order for the House to appoint a Special Investigative Committee with full powers of investigation, including subpoena power, for the purpose of investigating allegations of maladministration concerning the state of New Hampshire, its political subdivisions, and its contractors, in the handling of child abuse and neglect cases, divorce cases, child support, domestic violence, and juvenile justice. The committee shall issue a report of findings by November 1, 2024, with recommendations for remedy, up to and including whether to recommend articles of impeachment for the next legislature.
Again, please support the motion to suspend the rules to form this committee. There are representatives willing and able to serve on it and do this work. If you want to keep children safe, good families whole, and stop the abuse, support the motion.
If you won’t support it, I ask that you please vote against any motion to table, so that I may at least speak to the motion. I know we have a lot of business to get through, and I will not talk for an excessive amount of time, but I do want the body to know the harm done and why real investigation is needed. What you hear may shock you.

As a taxpayer and parent of a graduating senior at the Hartford Area Career and Technology Center, I was sent a questionnaire last week with the following email announcement of Hartford’s newly adopted “inclusivity” policy:
Dear Members of the Hartford School District,
At the end of 2023, you received an email sharing our approach to health education, which reiterated the Hartford School District’s mission to provide a caring and dynamic learning community that is welcoming and ensures that everyone is seen for who they are. In line with this mission, we are pleased to share that earlier this year we passed a new policy, the Gender Inclusivity Policy, that compliments the 2018 Race and Equity Policy ( EL 10 ) and strengthens our commitments to our District members. The Gender Inclusivity Policy can be found in the Policy section of our District website here . The Hartford School District Statement regarding this policy, which can be found on the Equity and Inclusion page, states:
“The Hartford School District is committed to providing a safe, orderly, civil, and positive learning environment for all students and staff, regardless of perceived or actual gender identity, gender expression, sex characteristics, and/or sexual orientation. It is the position of the Hartford School District that transgender, non-binary, and intersex individuals deserve the same inclusion and acknowledgement that cisgender individuals receive.”
We are writing today to share this policy with you-and we also want to hear from you! We invite you to fill in this brief survey to help us gauge our district member’s alignment with this policy. The survey is also an opportunity to ask questions and/or suggest further opportunities for engagement and learning that you think would be helpful to you/our community. Our goal is to contribute to a community in which people of any gender identity or expression are equally included and respected; we ask that input be provided with this in mind (e.g., this is not the place for hate speech denying the existence and/or rights of transgender and nonbinary people).
Who should fill out this survey? All parents, caregivers, guardians of students in the Hartford School District, AND all teachers and staff of the district.

What is “gender inclusivity”?
Gender Inclusivity is the equitable and fair treatment of children and adults of all gender identities and expressions.
This policy upholds the right to:
Privacy and confidentiality. This means that every person has the right to choose when, with whom, and how much information about their gender identity and/or gender status is shared with others. This right to privacy is recognized within the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974.
The right to be known and seen as who one knows oneself to be. This means that every student and staff person in our district should be able to feel comfortable, safe, and included when they self-present in their own gender identity and when they dress or present in a gender expression they prefer. Sex-based discrimination in the form of harassment, mockery, exclusion, or any other form of differential treatment of transgender and non-binary people is prohibited.
Again, you can fill in the survey here . We always welcome respectful conversations about how our equity and inclusion practices play out in different grades. Thank you for trusting our professional staff with providing thoughtful, caring, respectful, and age-appropriate learning experiences for your children.

You’ll notice the tone of the letter is typical Marxist language, appearing to be the kind and considerate thought leaders while pushing mystical pseudo-science that has been routinely exposed as quackery generated from fake academic journals citing other fake academic journals offering fake legitimacy. The reality is transgender and gender-affirming care are being exposed as massive failures as clinics are shutting down due to horrible outcomes such as increased rates of suicide and de-transition regret post-transition. Were the staff at Hartford to come outside of their ideological silos and echo chambers, they would know this, but they remain a town behind the times, trying desperately to appear cutting-edge and relevant.
Rather than genuinely be about the health and well-being of the children, this masquerade is about the adults, many of who are functional groomers either deliberately pushing sex identitarianism or have been co-opted due to institutional capture thanks to the handful of activists who are on mission to push the agenda, be they at the federal, state or local level.
Note in the letter the outgoing superintendent, Tom Debalsi, asks for feedback, questions, and concerns: “We are writing today to share this policy with you-and we also want to hear from you! We invite you to fill in this brief survey to help us gauge our district member’s alignment with this policy.” while limiting the parameters to acceptable speech stating “this is not the place for hate speech denying the existence and/or rights of transgender and non-binary people.” Essentially, they only want to hear from you if you agree with the agenda, which is confirmation bias and intentionally insulates them from disapproval by any members of the community who disagree – thus, inclusion doesn’t extend to dissent. This flies in the face of both science and our fundamental rights as citizens, given the school is a government institution upheld by the will of the people. Activists adopting a policy is not democratic and the questionnaire is a thin illusion pretending to represent democratic input.
Having worked in market research where I conducted similar surveys, the obvious leading questions and bias aimed at confirming what they want is yet more pseudo-science designed to appear authoritative with one of the very first questions:
“Please share the gender identity you most closely identify with” (sic – note the ironically poor sentence structure ending the phrase with a preposition): cisgender woman, cisgender man, transgender, non-binary, gender-fluid, agender, I’m on a gender journey, and I’m not sure at this time, prefer not to answer, other.
This biases the survey by adopting the controversial policy’s language. This is the game of Marxism in a nutshell – change the language. Words are the root of society’s communication infrastructure, and Marxists know that if they can alter the lexicon, they can control the speech, which is precisely the goal of this agenda. It’s not about inclusivity or kindness or journeys but reframing the very way we see the world through language. Marx referred to this as “mystification”, which is a type of Gnostic wizardry. Of course they will be guided (re: groomed) by the activists, through the power of suggestion, they can identify however they want, including as an animal (which they call furries). At no point in time has a person thinking they are an animal not been a sign of full-blown mental illness. A school in Utah just had a mass of students walk out in protest of “furries” who were being allowed to bite and scratch them with impunity as teachers allowed them to express their identity. Yes, this just happened.
Hartford is in the grip of woke insanity, and it’s leveled at the children who are being groomed into breaking from reality, ultimately aimed at being useful for one thing: cultural revolution. We saw it with the BLM/George Floyd riots and again with the Israel protests and, of course, the pride parades. This is nothing new, it was tried and failed in 1920s Hungary, however it was also the pretext to the rise of Nazi Germany where Hitler’s brown shirts first order of business was to burn books on transgenderism and shut down a transgender clinic following years of economic failure where young people couldn’t afford housing. Sound familiar? Probably not to people in Hartford, where faculty no longer teach sound history, instead promoting the unsoundness of one’s mental faculties.

You’ll likely have heard that the Canadian Cancer Society had to apologize for using the word ‘cervix’ in the context of cancer screenings for … (get this) cervical cancer. [Hit it, Greta!]. The problem? They didn’t want to alienate men from getting the screenings.
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words?

It said anyone with a cervix can get cervical cancer. Almost all cervical cancers stem from HPV infection.
If people’s medical records indicate they are men, it pointed out they might not get cervical cancer screening reminders. In response, they should talk to their healthcare providers about screening.
The funny thing about that (odd, not Ha-Ha) is that if a man has vaginoplasty and survives the procedure (severe pain, infection, and suicide post-op are not uncommon because it doesn’t nor will it ever work like a vagina), they still don’t have an actual cervix. You might as well mention how important it is for women to get tested for prostate cancer, which is just billing insurance or (someone) for the cost of looking for a cervix on a man.
There isn’t one. We’re just cranking up the cost of healthcare with pointless and unnecessary tests, even though I remember this one time at Obamacare Camp when they said we had to socialize medicine to prevent evil doctors from performing unnecessary tests and procedures.
YES, people should get screened for cancer, especially if they have or are taking puberty blockers or gender-changing hormone therapy. Those drugs increase the risk. While our basket teems with examples, how about our “melting pot” logo? Americans are by their individual relocation efforts a mongrel breed; which then her “melting pot” transforms into one identifiable being; that of an American!
Given our history of success, how can this chant for “diversity” be supported, and for what purpose? For these inherently un-American thoughts to become so universally embraced, the presence of multiple antagonistic influences deserves both our suspicion and ridicule.
This issue of demanding racial equality is typical of the brand of public antagonism and division that is at work today. Would someone please be bold enough to suggest just how out-of-date this racial crusade actually is? The most recognizable example of this non-issue comes from the life story of Dr. Ben Carson. His life began as part of a single-parent family, amid tenement-living poverty and being on the troubled streets with the wrong crowd. From the loving efforts of his mother, coupled with his own initiative, he lifted himself up to the heights of being one of America’s top neurosurgeons! Feeding this chaos is this consistent and obvious BS factor! Is America perfect? No! However, what other country sacrificed so much to free other nations? What other country generously responds to natural disasters around the world? And what other country grants the opportunity and freedom to a yearly number of foreign immigrants entering into and being accepted as part of America’s famous “melting pot” of citizens?
We all should be aware of this dangerous attempt to divide our people and to reduce our living standards. Such venues originate and support the corrupt and evil enemies of all civilized societies. Also, today’s Americans are at a crossroads since too many refuse to accept the fact that this enemy element has been elected into our Country’s highest governing positions.
At least back in the day, those Tories were mainly reacting to the comfortable “old shoe” excuse—or simply, what is already known versus what is unknown and iffy. Today, it’s a different equation. N.J. Governor Slammed for Public Records Overhaul Bill
Worried about possible corruption, critics are hammering New Jersey Democrat Gov. Phil Murphy for signing a measure to restrict access to government records.
The new legislation overhauls New Jersey’s existing Open Public Records Act and could make it harder for media outlets and the public to access some documents, The Hill reported.
It would also continue to limit access to government text and email correspondence and allow agencies to charge more for releasing information — even if the evidence is not in complete form.
Also, the law makes it harder on lawyers to get back fees in cases where requests are wrongfully denied by agencies, The Hill reported.
In a signing statement, Murphy acknowledged the law could disappoint some, but insisted that adjustments are “relatively modest.”
“I want to acknowledge that I know that this decision will disappoint many members of the advocacy community, including a number of social justice, labor, and environmental organizations, among others,” Murphy said in his statement. “I have heard the many objections to the bill directly, and I know that they are made in good faith and with good intentions.”
He continued: “And I know that closer to home, New Jerseyans across the political spectrum feel deeply betrayed and outraged by the serious allegations that our senior United States Senator accepted bribes from a foreign government,” referring to Sen. Bob Menendez, I-N.J., who is on trial for public corruption.
“If I believed that this bill would enable corruption in any way, I would unhesitatingly veto it,” Murphy said.
Critics were skeptical.
The League of Women Voters of New Jersey wrote in a post on X that the move marks a “dark day” for democracy.
“Instead of listening to the public and safeguarding transparency, NJ lawmakers have turned their backs on one of our essential rights. Hobbling public access to information is neither reform or modernization,” Jesse Burns, chair of the organization said in a statement. “This long struggle to defend democracy has proven we must restore power to the people of this state so they cannot continue to be blatantly ignored by those that are meant to serve them.”
Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey, a nonprofit, stated the bill is a “travesty and a “major blow” to transparency.
Bill backers say the legislation was designed to help out clerks who deal with many public records requests, The Hill reported.

Arlene Quaratiello is an NH House Rep. and local Librarian who ran afoul of the wokeasaurus in Raymond when she dared to exercise her First Amendment right to free speech by supporting a candidate for which her Public Library “betters” did not approve.
Rep. Quaratiello sent a letter to a local newspaper, endorsing conservative candidates for a public library position. She endorsed these candidates because they took the “controversial” position that sexually explicit books should not be in the children’s section of the library.
Arelen, wwho contributes to these pages from time to time, was frog-marched into a meeting with “Director Corbett, a Library trustee, and the town manager.” Betters who, to be honest, are not very bright.
They told her she was terminated “because of [her] lack of separation of personal/political values and agendas from DTL [Dudley-Tucker Library] policies, procedures, and occurrences” and because she was “not able to maintain the separation between personal and Library tenets.” Our client – who is an elected official – asked if this meant that she was terminated for her political activity, and they confirmed it.

Our lawsuit was about protecting the rights of citizens to speak out about the issues that affect all of us and ensuring a conservative voice can still be heard.
The court’s consent decree, in our case, does exactly that. First, the library is now obligated to publicly admit what it did; the order includes a statement that Arlene was terminated “because she engaged in off duty, public, expressive, political activity, outside the scope of her employment with the Library.”
Second, the library agreed to make the following public statement admitting wrongdoing:
The Dudley-Tucker Library regrets its conduct toward Quaratiello and the violation of Plaintiff Quaratiello’s constitutional rights, and will remind, in writing, all personnel to refrain from engaging in disciplinary activity that punishes the First Amendment activities of employees. The Dudley-Tucker Library and Town of Raymond will take any other actions reasonably necessary to ensure this type of constitutional violation does not occur again.
This is especially important, as governmental entities almost never admit wrongdoing.
Third, the court entered an order that will ensure our client’s rights are protected in the future. This order does the following five things: (1) it declares that the termination of Rep. Quaratiello “for her political activity constituted a violation of her First Amendment rights”; (2) it orders the defendants to expunge any negative documents relating to this incident from their employee files; (3) it enjoins the defendants “from disciplining Plaintiff Quaratiello or other similarly situated employees for off-duty political speech and activity that does not occur using Library resources or time”; (4) it requires the library to “reiterate to all employees that Library policy cannot and does not prohibit employees from engaging in off-duty, constitutionally-protected political activity”; and (5) it requires an addition to the employee handbook acknowledging these fundamental rights.
All necessary to ensure Arlene and eveyrone else is protected, at least formally on paper, from the random fits of melting snowflakes.

His Excellency was crooning about the great job the Sununu administration has done at keeping electric rates comparatively lower than other New England States. But put in proper context, this only means that given all the choices, New Hampshires sucked the least.
When Gov. Chris Sununu was first sworn in as governor in January 2017, New Hampshire residents were paying 18.42 cents per kilowatt hour for electricity. After seven years in office — February 2024 — the rate was 23.76 cents per kwh. That 29 percent increase in ratepayer costs was lower than every New England state except Vermont.
The math is simple. During Sununu’s administration, rates increased more in Maine (70 percent), Massachusetts (83 percent), Connecticut (94 percent), and Rhode Island (127 percent) than in the Granite State, according to data from the Information Administration (EIA) “Electric Power Monthly” report.
I’m not applauding a 30% hike in the cost of electricity simply because the state laboratories that surround us created bigger monsters than we did. We were paying too much before Chris Sununu got elected, and we’re paying too much plus 30% as he prepares to leave the office. A wake into which we have a major offshore wind project that will make electricity into the New England Grid even more expensive—a pricey capacity (assuming it gets built) that is onshored in the Granite State but not a planned part of our mix. We lost two coal plants. Se brook should be building/upscaling to a second reactor (if carbon-free energy is so vital), not plotting its eventual demise (however many years that is down the road). Hydro has not been tapped adequately. We need better LNG infrastructure from Portsmouth to the north country.
Sununu’s record on energy price and security isn’t great—it’s not even good. It is just better than the bigger losers surrounding us.
Wind continues to get more expensive thanks to higher demand and the lousy national and global economy. So, while New Hampshire’s rising rates will continue to look better compared to places like Massachusetts and Maine, it is a least worst-case scenario we shouldn’t even be in. And maybe that’s part of the reason for all the support these whale-killing wind machine projects have garnered. What if that’s the secret ingredient? Democrats want it because they have a mental illness, and Sununu Republicans like it because until we do, other states rising rates will rise faster than our own.
Whatever the scheme, none of it is sustainable. It is not good business to plan to be appealing by being less undesirable than your neighbors. There are plenty of places for businesses and industries to go that have significantly lower fixed energy costs than New Hampshire. And when the price gets high enough to make moving look cheap, they will leave—not for ME, MA, VT, CT, NY, or RI, but south and west, taking jobs, GDP, and tax revenue.
It is also worth noting that there are no Demcorats running to replace Sununu who don’t want to screw us as hard and as fast as possible with the albatross of climate alarmism. “Prices would necessarily skyrocket,” to paraphrase a rare honest Obama moment, Kelly Ayotte supported Barry Obama’s destructive climate plans as a US Senator. That leaves Chuck Morse, who is running to the right but might like Sununu’s bragging rights on electricity rates—the least worst example of what is supposed to be best for us.
None of it looks great from where I’m sitting.

Let’s face it. Islam is like a deadly, contagious disease. Once it invades its victim’s mind, it can transform him into a helpless pawn with no choice but to execute what he is directed to do. The vast majority of the victims of communism were indeed people living in communist states. Some 38 million Soviets were killed because of communism. Tens of millions of Chinese citizens were killed because of communism. That the victims of communism were primarily members of socialist societies says a great deal about the ideology itself.
It is also true with Islam. Muslims are the primary victims of Islamic ideology. The political system of Islam, just like fascism and communism, is a dysfunctional ideology that needs to be abandoned. Islam’s charter Quran is the root cause of Islamic terrorism, just as Marxism was the root cause of international communist totalitarianism.
Of the reported 1.2 billion Muslims in the world, millions are already trapped in the terminal stages of this affliction, while millions of others are rapidly joining them. The people enslaved with the extreme cases of Islamic mental disease are highly infectious. They actively work to transmit the disease to others. At the same time, they themselves engage in horrific acts of mayhem and violence to demonstrate their unconditional obedience to the dictates of the Islamic cult.
A true Muslim does not and cannot believe in freedom of choice. In Islam, “submission” leads everything to Allah, as clearly and repeatedly stipulated in the Quran. The raison d’être for the Muslim is unconditional submission to the will and dictates of Allah. Everything that a “good” Muslim does is contingent upon the will and decree of Allah, in which the Muslim has been indoctrinated.
Islam, by its very nature, is patriarchal and authoritarian. Once liberty is surrendered for submission, serious consequences present themselves. The individual becomes little more than a passive, obedient vessel of Allah, drastically changing his perspective of himself and life. Once he submits to the all-powerful, all-knowing, he is absolved of the responsibility of having to chart his own way of life.
Acts of horrors committed in Islamic lands aside, it is disturbing to see Muslims dissimulate, sweet-talk, and use any and all means in free non-Islamic societies to convert people to their cult. Yet, if a Muslim, on his own free will, decides to leave Islam, he is condemned as an apostate and automatically sentenced to death. And right here in America, the suffocating tentacles of Islamic bigotry are beginning to reach out to people. In the recent past, for instance, a teenage girl had to run away from her Muslim family, fearing her own father would kill her for becoming a Christian.
Consider the boys. Millions of young boys are enrolled in madrasahs—religious boarding schools—learning little besides memorizing and reciting the Quran. This is a case of total submission: Islam at its best, as championed by the oil-money-flushed Saudi patrons of the Wahhabi sect.
Slaveholder Islam is not content to limit its inhuman, barbaric system to its traditional homelands. It has penetrated millions of adherents throughout Europe, America, and the world. Many of the new arrivals from the failed Islamic states do not realize that it is Islam that is the root cause of their centuries of backwardness and misery. These imprinted-from-birth Muslims are robots who are programmed to do all they can in obedience to the dictates of Muhammad’s Mein Kempf, the Quran (My Ummah).
It is a sad fact that generation after generation of Sunni Muftis—highest-ranking Sunni clerics—and Ayatollahs—highest-ranking Shiite clerics, over the years have indoctrinated their underlying clergy as well as the masses with selective teachings that promote intolerance, exclusion, and hostility toward non-Muslims—people labeled as heathens, infidels, unbelievers, and apostates. Selective choice of the scripture, combined with a siege mentality endemic to the cradle of Islam, the Middle East, generates a fury of hatred that has the potential of devouring the world. If only Muslims could purge the negative aspects of its scripture and practice its positive teachings, the world would become a diverse community of humanity at peace with one another. The question is: Is that ever possible?
The fact that Islam is a splintered house complicates matters considerably. The faith is divided into Sunni and Shiite sects with numerous sub-sects. The divisions and contentiousness are so profound that members of one sect consider the other Muslims as apostates worthy of death. The division goes back to the time of the Prophet himself. Shiites believe that the enemies of true faith subverted its chain of authority at Muhammad’s death. While on his deathbed, they claim that the Prophet asked for a parchment to dictate his will and appoint Ali, his cousin and son-in-law, as his successor.
The Shiites claim that Umar, an influential disciple and commander of the faith, declined the request to the Prophet: hasbena ketab-ul-llah—sufficient unto us is the book of God. Before long, division and infighting started in earnest and continues to this day. Oppression of Shiite minorities in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are only two glaring instances of this longstanding and irreconcilable intra-faith hostility. The Shiite majorities in other lands return the favor to the Sunni minorities, as is the case in Iran. The recent horrific sectarian killings in Iraq represent glaring instances of irreconcilable differences among the various claimants to the mantle of faithful Islam.
One of the issues Muslims worldwide are in general agreement on is the status of women. It places women squarely under the thumb of men. It says in the Quran: Alrejaalo qawaamoon al-alnesa—men are rulers over women. Women of the non-Islamic world have valiantly worked to attain a degree of equality with men. They are not likely to barter their hard-earned rights for the privilege of becoming head-to-toe covered second-class citizens, deprived of education and opportunities. We, non-Muslim men, are not going to leave our emancipated, fully participating, and contributing members of our society behind and subjugate ourselves to a brutal set of Sharia laws that were enacted by a stone-age mentality.
Achievements thrive in a marketplace of free ideas, where beliefs and viewpoints, not people, clash. The best decisions and actions are reached through the unimpeded clash of ideas. Political Islam is anathema to this invaluable principle. Islam violated this vital principle, and it aims to continue to do so to this day. Islam’s inflexible and intolerant dogmatism is at the heart of the Islamic world’s stagnation and backwardness.
The best yet difficult resolution of the conflict is to do what hundreds of thousands of Iranian Muslims have already done. They have abandoned the slaveholder Islam: they broke loose from the yoke of the exploitive clergy, renounced Islamofascisim, purged the discriminatory and bizarre teachings in the Quran and the Hadith, and left the suffocating tent of dogmatic Islam for the life-giving expanse of liberty.
Reforming Islam requires discarding Sharia but also purging the Quran itself from enormous suras that are not only patently false but totally repugnant to civilized humanity. This line of thinking, to sanitize Islam, is explicitly forbidden in the Quran; however, within the emancipating and accommodating haven of liberty, those who wish to remain Muslim by name only can retain and practice the sound teachings of Islam but renounce intolerance, hatred, and violence. It takes tremendous vision, effort, and courage to ascend from the degrading pit of slavery to the mount of emancipation. Yet, I’d like to remain hopeful that it is both possible and exhilarating to do it since many Iranians have already done so successfully and happily.
As more and more people leave the shackles of Islamic slavery, more and more will follow, and the long-suffering Muslims, victimized by Islam itself for far too long, will be free people in charge of their own lives and destinies. It is a painful yet worthy process of growing up, asserting one’s coming of age, and marching lockstep with the free members of the human race.

To get you up to speed, Beth Scaer applied to fly the Pine Tree Flag on the Citizens Pole in front of the Nashua City Hall. Her petition was denied, as was her appeal to the mayor. Yesterday, some very peaceful protesters gathered with a bunch of Pine Tree Flags and did a bit of flag waving in front of City Hall.

It was not a large gathering, but it gave me an idea. If the City won’t fly it, why not have flag waves there on a regular basis and “fly it” yourselves? Do it for ay flag the city rejects or all of them. Jimmy “The Douche” Donchess says no, you say yes, and make sure citizens see it anyway. He can’t refuse you that right, just like he can’t engage in viewpoint discrimination on his big city pole, but he does it anyway, even when the reasoning is lousy.

Significant loss of life and quality of life. Many people of color were harmed. The Pine Tree flag’s history led to independence and, ultimately, the end of slavery at the hands of people who truly believed that black lives mattered.
Donchess’ ideological ancestors disagreed and even protested well into the 20th century. In other words, his excuse is partisan and stupid. It wouldn’t stand up in court if challenged, but it remains to be seen if anyone is willing to pursue it (hint hint).
