I have painfully slogged through a number of Right-to-Know Court challenges and the process should have been much easier. Most Judges do not like citizen Right-to-Know cases as they are boring and burdensome.

But the only recourse is to seek the remedy through the Court. (The newly opened Ombudsman Office is starting up, but bringing Nashua’s mess into a start-up operation is a bad idea.) The Attorney General’s Office will not offer any assistance for matters involving municipal issues. Citizens have to stay within the Court system, and the Nashua Court system is a trainwreck lacking in due process.

My intentions through all of my work were to try to improve records access for the public and hold the government accountable. I failed miserably at this. The Mayor, the Legal Office, and the Board of Alderman have taken no responsibility to correct record deficits and process. The Mayor bellows out a cadenced-public message openly blaming me for employee departures, staffing increases to handle Right-to-Know matters, and increased costs to the taxpayers. In truth, his process has destroyed reasonable records access for all citizens. The Mayor publicly denounces Judge Temple’s ruling in my favor calling the orders unfair and claiming the Court is picking on the City. The one thing I have come to learn about this Mayor and legal office, they cannot permit the “enemy” to experience a single victory.

In Nashua, questioning the government is considered an act of hostility. Attorney Donchess and Attorney Bolton take challenges very personally, which prevents any effective negotiation. My work started off as a “mind my own business” effort. I wanted to fix our bad property assessment. I won that effort, but the Mayor started a war.

The Mayor is extremely effective in picking his Board of Alderman, funding and campaigning for his candidates. He has held a stacked single-party chamber for 8 years. When he engages in a war, he is, for the most part, effective and uniting his Board and State Representatives behind him. From his leadership position, he leads in establishing confirmation bias that is almost impossible to overcome.

But, if you go to City Hall and walk around, it is no longer a public building. The offices are locked, signs are posted “by appointment only,” and phone numbers are listed that ring to nowhere or, more typically, no one answers. People are still working remotely on a COVID protocol. Citizens, particularly those in opposition to the City, can no longer go to city hall and speak to folks in a department about records. We should all be concerned when such a basic right to access our public information and understand what our government is doing is being so easily taken away.

I cannot recall a single executive order or memorandum from the Mayor that would improve public access to information for citizens and recognize the need for change. The Mayor is the master of blame.

So, after more than three years, what did my sincere efforts bring? I lost my reputation and my freedom, all to accomplish nothing. Please reflect on your rights being taken away from you.

A lack of transparency is a symptom of dishonesty.

We know that the Second Amendment doesn’t exist simply for self-defense but there are too many evil people out there that believe they can do bad things to you without retribution. Being closer to 70 than 60, there are a lot of younger men out there against whom I’d never stand a chance in a physical confrontation. Especially in the dark of night in MY home where and when these folks are not invited. So when I see a story like this, I smile (reformatted, emphasis mine):

Homeowner turns the tables on 2 armed crooks who cops say broke into his residence — shooting one dead and wounding the other

New Castle County police were called to the first block of Clipper Court in Glasgow just before 9 p.m. over reports of a shooting, New WindowDelaware Online reported. Detectives learned that two men — a 25-year-old who will be identified once his family is notified and 20-year-old Nadir Everett — broke into the victim’s house, the outlet said. A third man, 24-year-old Malik Dennison, remained outside the home as the getaway driver in the “targeted” attack, Delaware Online added, citing police. Investigators said one of the suspects knew the victim, WPVI-TV reported.  Everett and the 25-year-old male threatened the victim with a gun and “began removing miscellaneous property” from the house, police told the outlet.

Police told Delaware Online that the break-in victim got a gun of his own and shot at Everett and the 25-year-old male.

The 25-year-old male died at the scene, the outlet said, adding that Everett ran from the home after being shot “multiple times,” after which Dennison took him to a hospital. Police arrested Dennison and Everett at the hospital, Delaware Online said.

The homeowner had been shot in the “lower extremity,” the outlet said, adding that police began first aid on the homeowner before paramedics arrived. Police told WPVI he was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

“…Male died at the scene”. It’s clear that right and wrong played no role in the deceased and cronies thought processes. It was all about selfishness: I want something that isn’t mine. However, we are “stronger” and therefore have the right to take what is someone else’s. If the Civilian Disarmament Groupies get their way, that victim could have died.  It’s clear, though that the criminals didn’t think that anyone was going to fight back.

I still believe what Heinlein stated holds true: “An armed Society is a polite Society”. It is because the “unpolite” generally do not run into those that would enforce “politeness”, they can get away with their boorish behaviors.

The problem isn’t total disarmament, it’s the threat of being on the receiving end and being “being beaten to the trigger” by those who simply want to be left alone but are forced by evil people like Dennison and Everett to take action.

Al Capone was a gangster and a businessman who lived and ruled over the streets of Chicago for the first half of the twentieth century. He grew up in organized crime, took over the Windy City Mob during prohibition, and amassed his wealth through bootlegging and enforcement.

His relationship with Mayor Thompson and the Chicago Police afforded him protection. That was until he called for killing seven mob rivals in broad daylight in what became known as the Valentine’s Day Massacre. The public turned on him and demanded he be taken down. The only offense that Al Capone was convicted of and imprisoned for was tax evasion.

Hunter Biden may not be a gangster, but he is an extortionist and manipulator and has used his family name for the last two decades to shake down foreign companies and governments. He has amassed millions for the Biden family, and evidence surfaced that as many as nine family members have shared in his money laundering campaign. This system of trading power for money only works if his father, President Joe Biden, remains in office. That is why the Biden family is pushing Joe for another term in the White House even though it is evident that he is not physically and mentally fit for the job.

Hunter Biden has a well-documented life of depravity and has no apparent skills to support the positions and contracts that he has been able to negotiate. Companies have paid him millions to sit on their boards, and countries have given him considerable sums to invest for them. All of his activities are a sham. He was selling exposure and influence with his father when Joe Biden was a Vice President and now as President. Hunter Biden is just the tip of the sword for the Biden Cabral, and the impact on the American political system is the actual crime to be answered for. It is safe to say that Joe Biden would not be sitting in the Oval Office without the concerted effort of the government to protect Hunter Biden. There appears to be a plan to sacrifice Hunter with tax evasion crimes rather than let the system expose the sins of the father and many high-ranking operatives in many facets of the D.C. political world. This is the comparison I make between Hunter Biden and Al Capone. The American people cannot let this American Crime Family, the Bidens, off on a simple tax code violation.

It has come to light that Antony Blinken, now Secretary of State, and Merrick Garland, now Attorney General, conspired to protect the Bidens by coercing fifty former members of the intelligence community to sign a letter acknowledging the claims of Hunter Biden’s activities and the infamous Hunter Laptop as Russian misinformation. The plan worked, attention was directed away from Hunter and Joe during the 2020 election, and Joe Biden went on to defeat Donald Trump for the Presidency. Unfortunately for the Bidens, the Republicans took control of the House of Representatives in 2022. Behind the efforts of Jim Jordan and James Comer, House Committees are bringing the sins of the Bidens and the government to light. The evidence is mounting and clear, and the case against the Bidens is becoming too strong for the mainstream media to ignore. The media has been as complicit with the Bidens and as guilty as the government officials who played a role. And, by the way, the Hunter Laptop does exist.

The Bidens are guilty of embezzling millions worldwide to influence and compromise the man who has held the two highest offices in the land during their crime spree. They have influenced elections and have corrupted our Justice Department, Intelligence Agencies, and the White House with their actions. They have jeopardized our National Security because relationships with Joe Biden and our adversaries have been compromised by payoffs to the Bidens. It would be the crime of the century to allow these people to escape justice by letting Hunter Biden take the fall for cheating on his taxes. I fear our government may not be strong enough to police its own. The corruption goes so deep. We may be unable to find enough honest people to soil themselves to take down the Biden Crime Family.

House Bill 639, to legalize the sale of recreational marijuana in New Hampshire, is being considered by the NH Senate Judiciary Committee and the following was my testimony this week in opposition to the bill.

I am a huge fan of Americans for Prosperity. They truly care about helping marginalized people succeed like the single mom struggling to pay the rent and the young man with a criminal record looking for work without success.

AFP believes that they can help these less well-off New Hampshire residents by supporting the legalization of recreational marijuana, but the truth is that those people they want to help are the ones that will be hurt the worst by it. 

From the study “Sociodemographic Characteristics Associated With and Prevalence and Frequency of Cannabis Use Among Adults in the US” published in JAMA, the Journal of the American Medical Association on November 30, 2021:

In this survey study including 387,157 US adults residing in 21 states conducted in 2016 through 2019, young, male, Black, and Native American individuals and individuals with low educational attainment and income were more likely to engage in higher frequency cannabis use.

Cannabis use, in particular use at least 4 days per week, is associated with neurocognitive deficits and poor educational and other social outcomes, especially in adolescents and young adults.

When I was handing out flyers to parents dropping off their children at our local elementary school recently in a neighborhood with a high density of impoverished families, I encountered a mom with slurred speech and her car wreaking of marijuana smoke. She was obviously not safe to drive. It frightens me to think how often she drives her young daughter while she is high.

Dozens of well-designed studies have linked marijuana with psychosis and schizophrenia. Researchers have found marijuana users are much more likely to develop schizophrenia. People with the disease suffer more frequent and severe relapses if they smoke.

Most people will never have a psychotic episode while using marijuana. Some will have temporary breaks from reality. But an unlucky minority of users will develop full-blown schizophrenia. At this point, doctors have no way of predicting who they will be.

In “How Weed Became the New OxyContin, published August 30, 2022, Dr. Christine Miller, an expert on psychotic disorders is quoted: “One out of every 20 daily users can expect to develop schizophrenia if they don’t quit.”

My brother started smoking marijuana at a young age and developed full-blown schizophrenia. 

I haven’t had contact with him since before my youngest was born 27 years ago. We searched for him online and found a mug shot from when he was arrested for squatting on someone’s property. He can’t take care of himself, and he has been in and out of homeless shelters for decades.

On my drive to work in Massachusetts I go by multiple billboards promising me improved mental health, relaxation, and happiness if I shop at their cannabis stores. When I’m on my laptop at work I get digital ads from a nearby cannabis shop suggesting I stop in for a purchase. In Boston’s Financial District I saw ads on almost every street corner offering to deliver cannabis to my door.

Its horrifying. I know from painful, personal experience how much destruction Massachusetts has invited into their state.

Mike Moffett has a post up at NH-NeverTrump Journal regarding the ConVal education funding lawsuit. I don’t disagree with the gist of his post … that how and how much to fund public education are questions of policy, not questions of law, that are supposed to be decided in the ballot-box, not the courtroom. What I do disagree with … strongly disagree with … is his characterization of the Communists (aka NH-Democrats) as “good people.”

These philosophical differences were on full display in New Hampshire’s House Education Committee. Our Democrat friends there are good folks whose perspectives simply reflect progressive leanings that just don’t resonate with conservatives.

Your “Democrat friends” overwhelmingly support DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) and CRT (Critical Race Theory). DEI and CRT are simply euphemisms for anti-White racism. DEI involves discriminating against White males. It is an ideology that maintains one’s race, or “identity” is defining and determinative. That is, DEI sees people not as individuals, but merely as part of a tribe, or group, or identity. CRT is the dishonest rewrite of history intended to justify DEI … America was founded by White males in order to exploit everyone else and benefit White males, so DEI is simply redressing centuries of systemic discrimination and exploitation by White males. Those who support DEI and CRT are not “good people.” They are the real racists, the real bigots.

Your “Democrat friends” overwhelmingly support abortion up to birth. At some point well before birth, the fetus has developed sufficiently that it is absurdly dishonest and indeed depraved to deny its humanity. Yet your “Democrat friends” do exactly that … they deny that seven, eight and nine month old unborn babies are human. Those who support late-term abortions are not “good people.” They are evil.

Your “Democrat friends” overwhelmingly support “gender affirming care” for children. “Gender affirming care” is another lovely Communist euphemism … to camouflage the sterilizing and removing of body-parts of children. Those who support sterilizing and removing the body-parts of children are not “good people.” They are monsters.

There is much, much more I could add … grooming, censorship, biological males taking over female sports, etc. etc. etc. Suffice it to say … the NH-Democrats’ agenda is Mao’s Cultural Revolution come to America. And they are winning because the GOP refuses to see them for what they are.

The first Earth Day was observed on April 22, 1970, which just so happened to be the 100 Anniversary of the birth of Lenin, a syphilitic, mass-murdering psychopath that members of the American Left loved and admired.

Gary Allen, author, and journalist wrote an expose of Earth Day titled “Ecology Government Control of the Environment,” which was published in the May 1970 edition of “The American Opinion”: Here is an excerpt:

Nobody is willing to admit who selected the date of April twenty-second for the “Earth Day” teach-ins. That is, after all, the one-hundredth anniversary of Lenin’s birth. A coincidence you think? Mr. Hayes should avoid lying about matters so easily checked. The date settled upon as the natal day of William Shakespeare is April 23 , I564 ; Queen Elizabeth was born on April 21 , 1926. Which leads one to suspect that even Hayes’ friends Maryanna Kaufman and her aunt (if they exist) might well have been born on some Friday the thirteenth for all he knows. What else do you suppose Mr. Hayes lies about?

Camp Constitution believes that we are stewards of God’s Earth, and we have a duty and obligation to be good and wise stewards of God’s Earth, but we do not worship the Earth nor do we think that allowing governments unlimited powers over property will insure a clean and healthy environment. Last year, we became a sponsor of two miles of highway in Alton, NH where we organize two clean-ups a year.

 

We encouraged local left-wing groups to do likewise but they have not risen to the challenge. Perhaps they are too busy holding signs at the local rotary on Saturday morning urging the killing of unborn babies.

One of the many lies Sun-King Sununu has been disseminating as part of his make-believe, look-at-me, look-at-me Presidential campaign is that he is forward-looking while Trump is backward-looking, more specifically that Trump is obsessed with the 2020 election and has no agenda but revenge. Trump, however, recently laid out his agenda at an RNC event in Nashville. As reported by Politico:

Trump vowed to “totally obliterate the Deep State,” directing the Department of Justice to go after local prosecutors deemed as “Marxist” or “racist-in-reverse.” He pledged to sign an executive order cutting federal funding from schools that teach critical race theory or “inappropriate” sexual content, as well as for schools and colleges implementing mask or vaccine requirements. And he said he would sign a federal law forbidding sex-change procedures on children.

So let’s consider where Sun-King Sununu stands on these matters:

… a federal law forbidding sex-change procedures on children: Sun-King would OPPOSE such a law under the sham pretext that it is “big government” to protect children from being sterilized and having body-parts removed.

… cutting federal funding from schools that teach critical race theory or “inappropriate” sexual content, as well as for schools implementing mask or vaccine requirements: Sun-King would OPPOSE such an executive order, again under the sham pretext that it is “big government” to not fund educational institutions teaching anti-white racism or that engage in grooming or that are still pushing the COVID-hoax.

… totally obliterate the Deep State: Sun-King would oppose. Like the Democrats (aka Communists) he does NOT believe in the First Amendment. For example, BLM can march through your neighborhood, but conservative protesters are not welcome in his. “I Will Not Co-Parent With the Government.” That sign and others like it appeared in abundance in Concord on Tuesday. That was the prevailing sentiment of the strong and positive crowd assembled in front of the Capitol in Concord this past Tuesday, April 18, 2023, as a prelude to the House hearing on HB272, a bill codifying parental rights of school children.

I attended the parents’ rights demonstration that morning, and I was pleasantly surprised. Despite the threat of rain and a chilly breeze, there was an impressive crowd of an estimated 200 people of all types, most clearly parents, some with their children and toddlers in tow.  Fortunately, the rain held off.

On my way to the front steps of the Capitol, I passed by the pro-transvestite group on the corner. Their signs were limited to protecting transvestite students from injury and death by their parents and the need to keep students’ secrets safe from parents. There were not many children in that group, which contained mostly female (presumably born so) adults who desperately want to conduct experimental, life-altering surgeries on kids to flip their genders. I don’t recall seeing anything about education or working with parents to educate and protect their students. My eyeball estimate of that crowd size was around 100.

There was a different vibe altogether at the parents’ right group close to the front steps. The group of around 200 was mixed male and female, with many parents with kids, and a noticeable presence of some younger folks who took an interest. The speakers were well-received by an enthusiastic crowd, and everyone was relaxed and attentive. I noticed several legislators, recognizable by their official black name tags, on the edges of the crowd speaking with people. (Please pardon my lack of detail, as I was not expecting to report on the rally and wasn’t taking my usual copious notes on the event.)

Before going into the building, the MC told everyone that a prior agreement had been made between the two groups not to confront or interact with each other, so we were asked to avoid the anti-rights participants, even if they tried to strike up seemingly friendly conversations. The pro-parents group entered through the front doors, and the anti-rights group walked around the building and entered in the rear.

One oddity I noticed was about fifteen “Peace Keepers,” regular folks in white safety vests who were positioned around the Capitol but mostly kept near the pro-teacher/pro-trans crowd. In my previous times at the Capitol, I’ve never seen them. Since the two groups were kept separate and we were asked not to approach them, I did not ask any of the Peace Keepers who they were, with whom they were affiliated, and who their sponsors were. In the photos below, you can see that the vests were professionally made and customized. Not seen in the photos was a peace symbol on each right front breast area.

I took their presence to be imagery promoting the fact that all pro-transvestite/transgender people were victims and live in fear, and they had to have a presence there to protect them against violence from the parents who only demand to know what their children are doing in school. Laughable. Checking the internet, the Peace Keepers are part of New Hampshire Peace Action in Concord, a 501 (c)(3) organization, and is an affiliate of Peace Action based in Silver Spring, MD.

Inside the House chamber, it was packed, and everyone had their say. Unfortunately, I had to leave after a short time and cannot relate to what the rest of the day was like in the hearings.

I hope others are encouraged to attend future rallies on parental rights and other pro-liberty issues, even if it means sacrificing a work day to attend. Your presence, your signs, and your relaxed but serious attitudes speak volumes more than you realize.

First, I am merely an “enlightened amateur”.  Please vet & check on your own.  Caveat emptor.  Consider these to be priming the pump for your own investigations.  I know this is a long post; I am attempting to put out a lot of information as a resource.  Read or skip sections depending on your interests.

And please, if you find this useful, forward it to others.

Second, I fear spicy time is very close, but even a month of food, water, etc., puts you well ahead of most of the sheeple.  IMHO, set your minimum sights on a three-month period.

Third, two things will be critical for having the best chance of making it through:

1. Mentality: first and foremost in survival is having a flexible mentality and cultivating the ability to adapt. Vanity has no place in survival.
2. Develop a meatspace network of people that are likeminded: cultivate your community ties and build alliances with neighbors (note: don’t babble about the Jab or globalists or depopulation, or start pointing political fingers when doing this)… and remember, the first rule of PREP CLUB is that there is no prep club.

* I’m only an amateur historian, but I know that many battles – and even entire wars – have hinged on blind luck or small, overlooked things.  Or things not foreseeable.  For example, something I learned in history about Napoleon’s incursion into Russia and hitting the infamous Russian winter.  Many of his  army’s harness buckles were made from tin, which turns very brittle in the cold (phase change).  Thus his army’s belts and horse harnesses literally snapped in the cold, thus hampering his army’s ability to move and fight.  Nobody could have foreseen this.  The same here: chance and things that can’t be predicted determine battles, and there’s no way to game them all out.  Again, if the globalists are engineering this war – and I believe they are – things will happen on the battlefield and political world that will bring true this saying:

Earth Day was yesterday – after already having 53 of them since 1973, did anyone notice #54 other than a few platitudes on the news?  WMUR (NH’s only TV station) “greenwashed” it with a package that was more normal “pick up the trash” than anything else. Even the now-pablum-filled TreeHugger could only roust up a meaningless few paragraphs.

Sidenote: I just went over to TH to grab the URL for it and it is gone.  So I left this comment on another post knowing that the moderators would see it:

I just noticed that yesterday’s obligatory Earth Day post (with comments turned off) is now missing? Seriously, has the Movement become so embarrassing that even TH is dumping it?

Time Magazine, however, is still full bore on it, letting the rest of us know it’s alive and well and worthy to be an actual religion. A secular religion but with all of the trappings of a God-fearing one (reformatted, emphasis mine):

The Case For Making Earth Day a Religious Holiday

Earth Day is upon us—that forlorn little non-holiday that some years sandwiches itself between Easter and Passover, or other years trails in the wake of those “real” holidays. If the Super Bowl is America’s unofficial national day of celebration, Earth Day is the collective yawn that brings a shrug. No recipes offer Earth Day chips and dips to serve when friends and beloveds gather in celebration of the miracle of a living planet. Because they don’t. Not even ours.

For the two of us environmentalists—one of us nominally Jewish, the other a recovering Catholic—we find the ill-defined nature of the only day honoring the place that makes life itself possible more than a little sacrilegious. So, on this 53rd Earth Day we thought it useful to pose what a real Earth Day should represent and how it could form a central time for a new approach to worship.

New approach?  And the question being begged is worship WHAT?  Never fear, mes amis, they are willing to tell us and want us to adopt:

…So, what would an earth-reverent belief system look like with Earth Day at its center?

To begin with, let’s take a look at what established religions get right and where we might take a cue. Perhaps the first step might be, um, unearthing the nature-centered origins of our existing religious holidays. Most of us know in the back of our minds that Christmas and Hanukkah fall around the time of the winter solstice; that Easter and Passover are celebrated in tandem with the arrival of spring; that Sukkot and Diwali mark harvest and summer’s last warmth, and Eid follows the path of the moon. These holidays have origins in gratitude. Gratitude for the sun returning. Gratitude for the harvest that could avert the starvation winter might bring. Thanks for when it did avert it. We could conceivably reframe these holidays as days of thanks for what the natural world gives and reminders that our responsibility for what remains is an ongoing covenant.

Next, we might look at what religions do to help us form community and mark life’s important benchmarks: birth, maturity, marriage, and death. What if we were to come to celebrate these benchmarks for what they are biologically?…What if a book like that [the Torah] existed for the Earth? What if it were replete with hymns to this world of the living? What if it contained the stories of the prophets of natural earth knowledge—Darwin and Carson, Galileo and Humboldt? What if we came to mark those discoveries as the gradual opening of consciousness to the laws of nature. What if our Bible of the Natural World reenforced that a multiplicity of processes and phenomena still remain to be discovered? What if we used that book not to scold our children into following commandments but rather to light a path forward that encouraged discovery and reverence, and gratitude for the relationships that are this planetary spaceship’s life-support?

Sorry, now they’re sounding like many churches that have abandoned God and have decided to become a country club without the tennis courts, golf courses, and pools.  Sorry, this is nothing more than “self-worship” bordering on an old religious type that has existed for centuries and is still around today: Paganism dressed up in green clothes.  I would say that they even tried to co-opt America’s past events of religious fervor when they try this

…Likewise a whole new continent of scientific knowledge has been revealed to us since America’s first and second religious Great Awakenings. It seems perfectly reasonable and spiritual to us that in a New Great Awakening this new knowledge-continent be incorporated into a progressive wisdom of life, death, and the universe.

As expected, do you see any mention of GOD in that (and yes, go read the whole thing)? When they earlier used the word “gratitude”, did you notice that they never mentioned to WHOM gratitude was to be directed?  And they have the gall to put themselves at the same level as God in this as both Awakenings were about worshipping God and not themselves (e.g., other humans) and their gnostic leanings here.

And the authors wrap it up with this:

…In short, we must make nature central to our belief system with Earth Day or any number of earth-focused ceremonial days serving as regular reminders of what we owe our home planet…We’ve got to convey to everyone that the planet whose rotation and revolution creates all 365 days is worthy of a recognition that spans all 365. Recognition of the planet was born in protest. Going forward it must be about reverence, about respect for the living world that makes human life, too, possible. Celebrating the whole world as a living miracle really should be more fun—and more win-win—than even the most-watched football game.

Sorry, I have my own belief system and no, I don’t own anything to our home planet” that is as inanimate as the rocks that the Grandson picks up to play with waiting for the school bus in the morning. And if our planet “was born in protest”, who or what was “our planet” protesting against?  Again, this is ancient philosophy – trying to anthropomorphize something that isn’t by those that have rejected God (or as our Founders put it, “Nature’s God”).

But it shows that when one rejects God, they are open to believing in almost anything else. Including their own ideas.

But Skip!  What about all this from Government about saving emissions (and falsely telling us they will save us money by FORCING us to do things their way and screwing with our appliances and cars again)?  Yeah – don’t believe them. Again, we keep warning people that THESE kinds of people, in government with the power to boss us around and make our lives more and more miserable, are Watermelon Environmentalists: Green on the outside but Red on the inside. You know, like the Chinese Communist flag. They are greenwashing as well but not with products but demanding control over every speckle of our lives with “environmentalism and Save The Planet” as a cover.

It is always about control – and getting more and more of it by any means possible.

For years, former ACLU-NH Trans Justice Organizer Palana Belken, who changed his name to Palana Hunt-Hawkins when he took his wife’s last name after his marriage in July 2021, was front and center at all New Hampshire events that promote the medical transition of gender-confused children and the taking away of women’s rights to our own private spaces and sports. He never missed an opportunity to represent the extremes of radical gender ideology.

Palana founded the organization 603 Equality to continue the fight for “transgender rights” after ACLU-NH canned him after I exposed him for being a book burner.

All of his “trans rights” activism appears to have come to a halt in August 2022 when he found a voodoo doll on the hood of his car with a pin stuck through it. The doll had “breasts and male private parts,” apparently an attempt to represent Palana’s anatomy as a man who takes hormones and grew breasts to make himself appear female.

This incident made Palana very concerned for his safety. However, the Rochester, NH police threw the doll out and declined to do an investigation. Boston WBZ News thought it was newsworthy enough to send a cameraman and reporter to interview him.

It’s a bizarre story all in itself but it’s even weirder that what seems like such an innocuous event seems to have caused Palana to abandon his 603 Equality organization and his beloved “trans rights” activism, although he has reappeared recently in his role as Director of Operations for the NH Harm Reduction Coalition. The leadership of 603 Equality was assumed by Linds Jakows.

He stopped using his wife’s last name after the voodoo doll incident and he has now returned to his original last name of Belken.

Did the voodoo doll break up his marriage? Is he fearful of another voodoo doll appearing if he continues his activism? Enquiring minds want to know.

The Informed Consent Action Network has secured a significant win for Frist Amendment Religious exemptions to state-mandated vaccines for kids.” [A] federal court has ruled that … the State of Mississippi afford its residents a religious exemption for their children to attend school without one or more state-mandated vaccines!”

I know you probably don’t live in Mississippi, but in the weird world of constitutional rights, it has the potential to provide aid and comfort to those in the five states that do not allow religious exemptions from state vaccine mandates, including states that had them but reversed them in recent few years; Connecticut (Conn. Gen. Stat. § 10-204a), Maine (Me. Rev. Stat. Ann. tit. 20-A § 6355), and New York (N.Y. Pub. Health Law § 2164).

Note that many states with religious exemptions do not allow personal or philosophical exemptions from their vaccine schedules, so that’s an issue. But to the matter at hand,

 

From and after July 15, 2023, Defendants Daniel P. Edney, in his official capacity as the State Health Officer … their officers, agents, servants, and employees, and anyone acting in active concert or participation with them will be enjoined from enforcing Mississippi Code § 41-23-37 [Mississippi’s compulsory school vaccination law] unless they provide an option for individuals to request a religious exemption from the vaccine requirement.

 

A federal court has recognized religious rights in the Frist Amendment. Yes, I feel stupid having to write that. As if we need the court’s permission to exercise a right with more legal power than any government body is permitted. But then, the Mississippi Constitution does not protect, whereas the US Constitution does.

Section 18 of the Mississippi State Constitution is murky on the matter of faith-based exemptions in matters of public health.

 

SECTION 18. Freedom of religion.

No religious test as a qualification for office shall be required; and no preference shall be given by law to any religious sect or mode of worship; but the free enjoyment of all religious sentiments and the different modes of worship shall be held sacred. The rights hereby secured shall not be construed to justify acts of licentiousness injurious to morals or dangerous to the peace and safety of the state, or to exclude the Holy Bible from use in any public school of this state.

 

The ‘safety of the state’ clause, for lack of a better term, is likely the vehicle by which Mississippi involved a mandate above and beyond matters of conscience, religious or personal. A siren song with which we are all familiar. The COVID Karens, Vaxasaurs, and tin-pot pandemic dictators were all in on non-stop do-it for the community messaging. Public Health Communitarians, many of whom were not so concerned when certain communities burned, looted, and took lives in their communities because, as with the pandemic and the alleged cure, politics always comes before people.

If we were to bind a book of denied religious exemptions, it would be thicker than the average Congressional omnibus bill. The default position of people in power was and is to abuse it. The past three years proved it with few or rare exceptions. So, while this little ruling by a local federal court in one state is a win we might dismiss, it is also a breeze that could signal a storm.

Both sides are starting to fill in names on the list of candidates. Larry Elder is the most recent entry on the GOP side, joining an impressive list of patriots who have already thrown their hats in the ring. Nikki Haley, Tim Scott, and Asa Hutchinson have name recognition. Outsiders Vivek Ramaswamy and Perry Johnson have an uphill battle. Much attention and media advertising is aimed at Governor Ron DeSantis, who remains in the undeclared column. Former President Donald Trump still holds a comfortable lead in the polls, which is growing. Trump is also securing support from governors and DC politicians alike. Today, the GOP nomination appears to be Trump’s to lose.

We look to be heading toward a 2020 rematch that would probably set new vote total records. 2024 could be the first time we have two indicted individuals vying for the Presidency and the leadership of the Free World. The noose is tightening around the entire Biden family. As many as nine members of the First Family may be implicated by Congress as recipients of money from foreign adversaries due to the efforts of Hunter Biden to cash in on the power of the Biden name.

We also are getting information from the IRS whistleblower, who claims to have information that links Secretary Antony Blinken and Attorney General Merrick Garland to the letter from over 50 former Intelligence Community members claiming the Hunter Biden laptop was a misinformation campaign. If true, this would be considered collusion to influence an election. In this case, the 2020 and 2022 elections were both impacted.

I was initially a Ron DeSantis supporter for the 2024 nomination. I recently changed my support back to Donald Trump. I say back because I supported Trump in 2016 and 2020 but thought his running in 2024 would be too divisive for the country. With each day and more damage to this country created by Joe Biden and his inept administration, I not only support Trump, but think the country needs Donald Trump back in the White House.

I could support many of the GOP candidates in more traditional times, but we are far from traditional in today’s America. We are at a tipping point in this country where we are on the precipice of losing our Republic. We are witnessing a breakdown of society, and the lack of trust in our government is at an all-time high. Our banking industry and economy are unstable, and the battle between inflation and interest rates stresses everyone. The government is trying to gain more control over the people who are fighting back to hold onto our rights and freedoms.

We have a broken Border that will only get worse in May when Title 42 expires and an administration that appears to be accepting of the chaos and the accompanying influx of Fentanyl that is coming from Mexico and killing 100,000 of our young people a year. Young rioters are destroying our cities, and local and state politicians blame their actions on society, not the perpetrators.

Like Rome before us, America is burning. We need someone to win the 2024 election that can hit the ground running on Day 1. We do not have time on our side. There is only one person who can turn us around. Donald Trump proved to us during his first Presidency that he has the ability and the strength to reverse the damage Joe Biden inflicted on America. After eight years of Obama and Biden, Trump jump-started our economy and restored our place as a superpower on the world stage. He did it once, and we need him to repeat the feat. The only thing that brought Trump down was a global pandemic. If we fail to put this man in the White House, we deserve the dreadful fate we will face. Trump can restore this country to greatness with an uninterrupted term without COVID and impeachment attempts.

Whereas the practice of slavery enslaves the body, the dogma of apostasy ensnares the mind. Whereas slavery is a shameful practice of the past, some shameless religionists still use the doctrine of apostasy to intimidate and severely punish people who elect to choose their own beliefs.

Islam is extremely possessive of its subjects. It is a religion that admits anyone into its fold by the person simply uttering a one-sentence statement of faith, shahada: I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is Allah’s messenger. By so saying, one becomes Muslim for life and surrenders the right of ever leaving it. Anyone who leaves the Islamic fold is murtad (revert), apostate.

The notion of apostasy is best understood within the overall Islamic dogma. Islam forms a binding covenant with the believer. Once a person is Muslim, he and his issues are considered Muslim forever. In this covenant, Islam promises to bestow its beneficence on the faithful conditional on the person’s total and unquestioned surrender to it in all matters. Some of the rewards offered by Islam to the truly obedient believer, particularly the privileged males, are of this world as well as a great deal more promised to him in the next. If a Muslim faithful does not reap the rewards of his devotion in this world, Islam assures him of his inestimably cherished and limitless compounded rewards in the next world.

Islam demands the subjugation of the individual’s will to that of Allah and permeates the thinking, actions, and speech of Muslims by prefacing commitments they make contingent on the will of God (inshallah).

This total surrender and submission to the will and decree of Allah also absolve the individual from taking full responsibility for his conduct or honoring commitments he may make, for it is Allah who has the unquestioned authority to consummate or contravene any action or promise made by a faithful.

Within this overall framework of complete acceptance of Islam as the perfect living charter for the believer, the rules pertaining to apostasy can be better understood. Islam considers an apostate as a person who unilaterally breaks the covenant he has made with the faith. An apostate is condemned as guilty of turning his back on Allah’s immutable, eternal religion. Anyone born to Muslim parents and leaving Islam is stigmatized as murtad fitri (natural apostate) because he was born genetically Muslim and rejected his gift of birth. And anyone who converts to Islam and later leaves it is condemned as murtad milli (a person who has turned his back to the Ummah).

The severe stricture against leaving Islam is consistent with other main principle beliefs of the religion. Islam is a faith of surrender and not that of free will. A Muslim is to surrender his freedom of thoughts and actions to the will and dictates of Allah. The very principle of freedom is alien to the Islamic belief system.

With regard to apostasy, the two main branches of Islam, the Sunni, and the Shiite, are in considerable agreement. The great majority of Muslim scholars of both major camps agree that the Quran stipulates death for the apostate.

Islam, by its very nature, is an all-encompassing belief system that proscribes and prescribes every detail of the person’s and society’s conduct. The Sharia law, a comprehensive code of Islamic jurisprudence, purportedly is based on the Quran, and the Hadith (the reported enunciation of Muhammad and his conduct.)

Furthermore, Islamic societies rule by the Islamic laws of Sharia. Any new societal legislation must be harmonious with those of the Sharia which are conclusively anti-democratic. Sharia law is in explicit contradiction and violation of the foundation of democracy. Sharia law places Allah’s dictates and rules over the people’s sovereignty. It discriminates against non-Muslims to the extreme of disenfranchising them from their rights of citizenship of Baha’is, barring them from jobs, higher education, worship, etc., not only in Iran but Saudi Arabia and even Egypt.

It is blatantly discriminatory against women, Muslim or not.

Men have a greater claim to the inheritance, their testimony in the court of law is worth twice that of women, and they may marry multiple women at the same time. It stipulates even different rules and privileges governing free Muslim men as opposed to slave Muslims, implicitly condoning slavery. Saudi Arabia, the flagship of Islam, was finally forced by the free world to abandon slavery, I believe, only in late 1960, but it has been reported that it has not been completely abandoned.

Apostasy is defined both in the Quran as well as the Sharia, and its punishment is clearly stipulated. “Those who blasphemed and back away from the ways of Allah and die as blasphemers, Allah shall not forgive them.” [Qur’an 4:48]

Islamic law does not allow the freedom to choose one’s religion. “Let there be no compulsion in the religion: Clearly the Right Path (i.e. Islam) is distinct from the crooked path.” [Qur’an 2:256]

The Quran also specifically addresses the issue of murtad milli: “But those who reject faith after they accepted it, and then go on adding to their defiance of faith, never will their repentance be accepted; for they are those who have (of set purpose) gone astray.” [Qur’an 3:90]

The Hadith further restates the provision of the Quran regarding the punishment of the apostate.

The Sharia law stipulates that any Muslim who turns his back on Islam should be given a chance to revert to the religion. For an un-repenting male apostate, death is the punishment, and life imprisonment for a female apostate. “Kill whoever changes his religion.” __Sahih al-Bukhari 9:84:57

“The blood of a Muslim who confesses that none has the right to be worshiped but Allah and that I am His Apostle, cannot be shed except in three cases: In Qisas for murder, a married person who commits illegal sexual intercourse and the one who reverts from Islam (apostate) and leaves the Muslims.”__ Sahih al-Bukhari 9:83:17

At present, apostasy is illegal in most Islamic countries. Although execution of the apostate is not common, it does take place from time to time by frequently buttressing the “crime” with additional charges. The Islamic Republic of Iran, for instance, often adds the charge of mohareb (one who wars with God) to further legitimize its execution of apostates. A case in point pertains to the treatment of the religious minority Baha’is by the Islamic Republic. A number of Baha’is have been charged as apostates and mohareb, executed and some secretly buried in unmarked graves.

The late Ayatollah Khomeini in his Tahrir al-Wassilah adjudicates how a person’s apostasy is established: “Apostasy is proven in two ways: First, the person himself confesses to his apostasy twice. Second, two just and truthful men bear witness to the person’s apostasy. But women’s testimonies do not prove apostasy in any case; either they bear witness individually, in a group, or beside a man.”

The misogynistic nature of Islam is once again evident in Ayatollah Khomeini’s blanket disqualification of women’s testimony solely on the basis of gender.

“Apostasy — or the formal renunciation of religion — is already punishable in Iran with death. But now, Iran wants to make the death penalty for apostasy part of the penal code. The European Union is concerned and has asked Iran to reconsider.” Who is an apostate according to the legislation? Anyone in the world, not just Iranians, born to a Muslim parent; also, any convert to Islam who leaves it.

Only one parent needs to be a Muslim at the time of conception for Islam to own that child for life.

Islam is Ummahist. Islam doesn’t recognize nationalities and national boundaries. And these Islamist zealots are very serious and have no sense of humor. Some say they have no sense at all, and they may be right. They certainly have a thirst for blood, particularly for the blood of infidels and apostates.

It is noteworthy that Islam considers the world as its Ummah and overarches national boundaries. Hence, Islamic clerics feel free to issue fatwa and other adjudications regarding any person, group, or nation anywhere in the world. A celebrated case of this practice was the fatwa of Ayatollah Khomeini against the British author Salman Rushdie for his book The Satanic Verses. Hence, individual Muslims anywhere in the world take it upon themselves to carry out fatwa issued by Islamic high divines.

In another high-profile case, the killing of Theo van Gough, a Dutch film director, and the recent attack on the Danish cartoonist Kurt Westergaard, clearly demonstrates this primitive practice that runs counter to the civilized world’s due process and has a seriously intimidating impact on the freedom of expression.

Free people and nations should not sacrifice their God-given liberty to please the Islamists by muzzling dissenters and even endangering their safety and their lives.

The concept and practice of apostasy are a shameful stain on the conscience of humanity. It is despicable for any belief system to stubbornly cling to the dehumanizing anachronism of apostasy while its counterpart, slavery, is already buried in mankind’s graveyard of past infamy.

One could reliably ask when did our country start to become the lentiginous juggernaut that it is today because there was a lot going on just before and after 1970.  And one could ask if our society would be better know if they had, you know, become engineers instead?

Powerline points to 1970 when “The Administrative State” (law by technocrat bureaucrats) shifted out of first gear heading to double overdrive.

 

 

And would we have a more productive society if we had fewer regulations and laws (much to our benefit)?

And yes, I do believe that many of our issues are due to what I would consider a surfeit of lawyers, especially when they invade Legislatures – and then never leave. Almost worse than political science majors that have done the same thing.

But I can be persuaded the inverse is also true.

If nothing else, Goldstein is giving us a quick view of how surrounding and enveloping their efforts are. Ask yourself – what parts of your “self” are being attacked by their values which are antithetical to your own?  Your ability to express yourself freely via speech? Nope, they insist on you using only THEIR words and their styling. Not just the stupid ones like “birthing people and “chest feeders” but inserting new words that posses their new nuances to replace what worked quite well: “cis” for “straight”. While straight people (it annoys me to know end to even have to state the definition: men who are attracted to women and women who are attracted to men) are by far the majority, the use of “cis” in the panoply of sexual irrationality is denigrated to make it seem that WE are the minority and should give way to sexual degeneracy and chaos.

And chaos, from the above and what I have been writing about now for years, is the intended endpoint. For once close-to-complete-chaos is achieved, we won’t understand or know what to believe anymore. 2+2=5 or even 2+2= a black dog.  What’s the difference since both are wrong and nonsensical to a rational being.  And there’s the rub – they wish to so alter the meanings of things is that there can be no rationality left to believe in or hold onto.

And that’s when they can “radically transform America” in the way that Obama wanted. The way that Progressive/Socialists have yearned for since the 1890s.  And they won’t stop pushing as they are starting to see their goal in sight because too many of us are dispirited by their “dense pack” efforts to overwhelm our traditional American mores.

Again, at each and every turn. Thus, we need to be those soldiers on the wall and on post to protect that which drives us – our families, our friends, and our values. We WILL be lost if we don’t don’t because appeasement never works. In fact, appeasement is nothing more than total surrender from you which they will see as abject weakness, and then will torture you by demanding more of and from you knowing that it will be impossible but it will make them happy. You see, your family will see you giving up on them in doing so.

They win if they are never shoved backwards onto their butts.  And it will take all of us acting in concert. Let us become the anti-Fascist-Antifa, the anti-BLM-racists, the anti-Trans-Authoritarians, and the anti-Socialist/Communists at each and every turn of our lives (for they are seeking to control every turn of our lives).

For all of us, this needs to be inculcated into our beings. It is a manifesto – at the link, it lists like a manifesto like the listings of the evil and harms that King George had visited upon the Colonists which they enumerated (“To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.”)

Make no mistake, this “cold” Cultural Civil War has gone hot in any number of ways.

Vermont is a poster child for the level of stupid required to embrace the myth of Net Zero, not just rhetorically but actively. They are ramming through a heat standard that can’t be met and that almost none of Vermont’s citizens want.

None of it works, and most of it is impossible to achieve or sustain. Net Zero is Jabberwocky. A nonsense tale with a very real-world cost that Oxford University and Imperial College London decided to dissect and evaluate. If you are serious about this, what will be required?

 

The report states that all airports must close between 2020 and 2029 excluding Heathrow, Glasgow and Belfast airports, which can only stay open on the condition that transfers to and from the airport are done via rail.

All remaining airports must then close between 2030 and 2049 as to meet the legal commitment of zero emissions by 2050 every citizen of the United Kingdom must “stop using aeroplanes” for a significant period of time.

 

Not surprising. We saw this in the Green New Deal. A significant decline in mobility despite all those EV aspirations (see also lies, fraud, and misconduct).

 

The underlying point is that any asset which uses carbon will have essentially zero value in 2050. This in turn may encourage greater use in the run up to 2050 – for example, putting up new buildings at a much faster rate for the next 30 years, knowing that construction must then halt.

This might explain the mysteries of lost cultures and civilizations. After thriving for centuries or even millennia, some assh*le decided they needed to embrace net zero, and that worked. The net result was zero culture and civilization.

It’s a theory.

 

In addition to reducing our energy demand, delivering zero emissions with today’s technologies requires the phasing out of flying, shipping, lamb and beef, blast-furnace steel and cement.

[B]uildings will become much more expensive because the restrictions on building which generate substantial scarcities; second, transport will become much more expensive because the limits on air travel will generate excess demand for other forms of transport.

Thinking about what education is appropriate for a very different set of industries is a key question. Should we still be training airplane pilots? Or aeronautical engineers?

The alternative is that the government prohibits certain types of behaviour and regulates on production processes.

 

Finally, we get to the real goal of the mythological idea of Net Zero. The government will have to prohibit behavior and activity because that was what they wanted all along. Net-Zero is just the latest excuse from the carbon cults whose obsession with reducing CO2 is nothing more than political science to advance global socialism, which, once achieved, will pollute like mad to stay in power.

Vermonters are beginning to get a taste of that. A room is full of those chosen to represent their interest who think it is a mandate to impose their will regardless of what they are told. And it’s not just Vermont, is it?
