Is America On Life Support?

Mon, 2023-10-23 18:00 +0000

I have always been an ardent believer in democracy–The dictionary defines democracy as the rule of the people. Even at its best, “democracy is the worst form of government except for all the rest,” according to Winston Churchill. Is democracy a terrible form of government?

Does it hold the threat of destroying humanity’s most precious right – liberty?

In the so-called democratic societies, a semblance of democracy hobbles along with fits and starts, always on the verge of complete subversion and collapse. For instance, Western democracies are representative democracies where ordinary citizens do not rule. A representative democracy is, in effect, a plutocracy where money, people, and powerful interest groups lead.

The society’s rulers form a pyramid. At the base of the pyramid, we have the closest thing to democracy. The individual citizen has some sway over the locally elected officials such as the sheriff, the mayor, the city councilman, and the like. As we go up the pyramid, the voice of the individual citizen diminishes while the influence of money and power groups expands. It is a fact that, without funds, one cannot even run for the city’s animal control officer. At the very least, the aspiring candidate needs money for posters or handbills to make himself known to the electorate and argue why they should elect him, not his opponent.

The point is that it takes enormous amounts of money to become a part of the pyramid. And not everyone is a billionaire with a bottomless pocket and the willingness to tap it. Bottom line: If you aspire to become a part of the ruling pyramid, you require funds commensurate with the position you seek.

The US Constitution does not use the term “democracy. The United States is a representative republic. A republic if we can keep it, said Benjamin Franklin. It is a republic in which the people do not openly elect the president.

But as the recent events unfolded, I couldn’t help but feel like the system I had once held in such high regard was crumbling around me. The naked truth is that many politicians are paid agents, dancing to the tune of lobbyists and special interest groups. It is a harsh realization, and I am disillusioned and annoyed.

Democracy is the guardian of liberty. Embedded in a democracy are provisions that can make it implode from within. Democracy also has its guardian: A resolutely vigilant, proactive, and ethical citizenry.

Money’s influence in politics was deeply entrenched, and it would take years of continued effort to root out corruption and restore our democracy to its proper form.

Reflecting on my journey, I realized that being an ordinary citizen did not mean I was powerless. I learned that I could make a difference by shining a light on the dark corners of our political landscape and supporting those willing to stand up for the people.

Ultimately, the naked truth was that our democracy was a fragile and imperfect system, but it was also a resilient one. It could withstand the onslaught of corruption and greed if enough of us were willing to fight for it. I hoped that others would join the cause and that more ordinary citizens would rise and hold their representatives accountable.

So, I leave you with a call to action. If you, like me, are disillusioned with the state of our democracy, don’t despair. Get involved in politics, demand transparency, and hold your representatives accountable. The power to shape our nation’s future lies in the people’s hands, and it’s time we took it back from the puppeteers of democracy.

What can be done? Is there a way of resisting and reversing the imminent assault on our most cherished right of liberty? Here are some suggestions.

  • Become an active worker of liberty instead of passive, non-caring devil-may-care nihilists.
  • Use the political process, while it is still responsive to the demands and wishes of freedom-loving people, by supporting laws that guard freedom and reject those that infringe on liberty.
  • Actively support political candidates who are deeply committed to the tenets of freedom.
  • Run for office, any office. Please encourage your friends and other liberty advocates to pitch in and help in any way they can.
  • Hold to account those politicians who sell themselves to lobbyists and special interest groups.
  • Be an active educator by informing others about the creeping danger of Marxism.
  • Resist any and all WOKE philosophy in schools and the workplace.
  • Contribute money, small or large amounts, to causes and individuals who are fighting to preserve liberty. As the old saying goes, freedom is not free.

In short, liberty is our most prized possession, and democracy is the shield that protects it. Yet, this shield of democracy is vulnerable and needs to be repaired and strengthened regularly. I am calling on you, the individual freedom-loving person, to play your part in the defense of freedom, not only for your own sake but also for mine and all others who cherish this precious blessing of life and generations to come.

They’re flying so thick and fast it is amazing.

Take heart – there will be both a Wednesday and Friday Edition.  Last week’s Friday Edition.

Remember, ridicule and mockery are effective weapons:

  1. Ridicule cannot easily be fought
  2. Ridicule makes the enemy angry, and angry people make mistakes
  3. For those in the “squishy middle” a Thought Splinter (and Part II and Part III and Part IV) can often be hidden inside humor.

Now, let the mockery and mayhem begin.

Supporters of “Palestinians” Have Free Speech Rights Too!

Mon, 2023-10-23 15:00 +0000

Without wading into the numerous points surrounding the debate about a thing called ‘Palestine,’ or any “people” alleging indigenous status, or who did or started what, when, and why – we’ve plenty of that just about everywhere – there is something else to discuss.

Free Speech.

One of the advantages we have over the left is that we’ve never told them to shut up. We encourage them to talk. To exercise their right to provide us with an endless stream of material upon which to write. We do it because it amuses us, their right to be wrong. And it is the same as everyone else’s.

We do not block their speakers on campus or anywhere else. Armed hooligans in black block do not drop by to scare away audiences. We show up and report on their words.

That right applies to everyone around here. You do not have the right to infer injury or death, but almost everything else is reasonable. That would include expressing support for “Palestinians.” You’ll get some pushback, so be prepared to defend your arguments – and we request that everyone refrain from vulgarity and personal attacks – but have at it.

Here, there, everywhere, well – not everywhere. Sadly, much of the world has taken the Hamas attack on Southern Israel as an excuse to suppress speech. Pardon the long pull quote.

There’s a lot of that right now, lurid claims of graphic and pointless violence directed against the innocent, most of which survives just long enough to cause some outrage before being “debunked” or walked-back.

Part of that is the general “fog of war”, heightened by the advent of social media. When a lot of people can talk a lot more is said (good and bad).

But there’s another interpretation: That fake war stories are being intentionally seeded onto social media and then “debunked” to discredit platforms and appear to justify digital censorship. …

It’s not just “misinformation” either, but also “hate”. In an unusually subtle headline, NBCNews warns of the “increasingly fraught nature of online speech”. USA Today is more on the nose, claiming “online hate” is “surging”. …

In the UK and US pro-Palestinian rallies were met with calls for the police to get involved, citing laws that outlaw the public support of “listed terrorist organizations”.

UK Home Secretary Suella Braverman has told the police that waving a Palestinian flag could be considered a crime. Metropolitan police are engaging in “reassurance patrols”.

In France the police are already more directly involved, shutting down a pro-Palestine demonstration.

…and people applauded.

The Globalists are, without a doubt, using their digital dens to muddy the online waters, and they are not shy about the goal of regulating the internet to regulate (silence) speech. None of that is theoretical, and we are past reasonable doubt. Every day has a crisis, and none of them go to waste.

European Union Commissioner Thierry Breton sent warning letters out to every major social media platform, claiming they needed to “combat disinformation” regarding Israel and threatening them with fines.

In yet another blow to the “China is on our side” narrative, Chinese video-sharing service TikTok has eagerly agreed to “combat disinformation”.

Students from Harvard and Berkeley have been threatened with “blacklisting” for voicing support for Palestine.

German and French police are breaking up pro-Palestine demonstrations, while – in both the UK and US – there are calls to arrest people for waving Palestinian flags, or deport those who “support Hamas.”

Another excuse to normalize government suppression of speech.

The cowards at Message Control Central don’t want free and open debate; it is, therefore, incumbent on us to demand it, even if we dislike or disagree with the message. You don’t have to listen, but you should speak up against the suppression of peaceful conduct or the idea that people congregating around a message are, by default, a threat to public safety, even if that is how they might treat you.

We can’t permit the government or anyone else to suppress public speech on these terms. That goes for peaceful association and protest as well. And I mean peaceful, not BLM Antifa peaceful.

Once they take it, they will never give it back.

Election Laws Have Been Changed without Our Consent

Mon, 2023-10-23 13:30 +0000

What is the role of the Supreme Court at the state or federal level? The U.S. Supreme Court’s official website says, “First, as the highest court in the land (or state), it is the court of last resort for those looking for justice. Second, due to its power of judicial review, it plays an important role in ensuring that each branch of government recognizes the limits of its own power.”

The oath of office for every New Hampshire civil employee includes,

“I do solemnly swear that I will bear faith and true allegiance to the United States of America and the state of New Hampshire, and will support the constitution thereof. So help me God.”

Dan Richard, a constitutional scholar from New Hampshire who has brought a case against the state, claims that our election laws have been illegally altered by the executive or legislative branches over the years without the consent of the voters, thereby making them unconstitutional.

We want to thank Robbin MacVittie for this Contribution – Please direct yours to Editor@GraniteGrok.com.
You can review our ‘Op-Ed Guidelines‘ on the FAQ Page.

Since all government employees are bound to uphold the constitution, both federal and state, the rules, according to the New Hampshire Constitution, Part 2, (Art.) 100, cannot be changed without a two-thirds vote of Granite State voters. Richard’s case alleges that such significant election changes have been implemented in New Hampshire without the consent of the citizens, going as far back as 1942.

To illustrate, here is the original text of the NH State Constitution, Part 2:

(Art.) 30. (Inhabitant Defined.): “And every person, qualified as the constitution provides, shall be considered an inhabitant for the purpose of being elected into any office or place within this state, in the town, or ward, where he dwelleth and has his home.”

But in 1976, the wording was unconstitutionally amended to read,  “…where he is domiciled.” This changed the definition of not only who can hold office but also who is considered an individual who can vote. Without the consent of the voters, this opened the door for those college students who pay out-of-state tuition, for example, to vote in New Hampshire elections.

Part 1, (Art.) 11, deals with “Elections and Elective Franchises” and has been amended several times without the “consent of the voters,” most significantly in reference to absentee ballots. Originally, every absentee ballot needed to be in a sealed, signed and notarized envelope to ensure that absentee voters were verifiable in the same manner that in-person voters were, for equal protection under the law. Prior to 1979, any absentee ballots without notarized signatures were rejected.

Richard points out that since then, un-notarized absentee ballots have been unconstitutional and should not have been counted.

Meanwhile, voting machines were first introduced in New Hampshire in 1979 on a “trial” basis. Richard points out that Part 2, (Art.) 32, of the NH State Constitution, requires the moderator in each voting district to “sort and count” the votes in order to certify the results. Machines can usually count the votes but cannot sort them. That needs to be done by a human being, specifically the moderator.

And the reliability of voting machines has been called into question by instances like the recount of votes and audit of voting machines after the 2020 election in Windham, which demonstrated wide discrepancies, particularly due to folds in absentee ballots. Certain states, like Massachusetts and Arizona, have adopted the use of voting machines by having them authorized by the consent of their voters.

The State of New Hampshire has not.  So far, the state Supreme Court has put off addressing these concerns, which are very important for the integrity of our voting system.

Why?

College of Physicians Reccomends MAiD for Children Up to a Year Old

Mon, 2023-10-23 12:00 +0000

My apologies for revisiting this topic so soon, but this was impossible to pass—the grotesque institutionalization of post-birth abortion as a kindness. Ethicists have long proposed letting parents end their young children, but ‘experts’ are asking permission to call it assisted suicide.

Sort of – from Igor Chudov.

I apologize for using the oxymoronic term “assisted suicide for babies” in the title. An infant is not self-aware and cannot “commit suicide.” Infants want to live, eat, and be held by their parents. And yet, the Quebec College of Physicians wants to expand the Canadian “Medical Assistance in Dying” program to infants.

Chudov notes plenty of issues, not just the fact that infants -even one-year-olds – are capable of understanding what life is such that they could request someone end it. And how no one knows how they sense or perceive pain, not really.

He also has details about characters who appear to love the idea of encouraging approving requests to die. These angels of mercy death must be beside themselves over such good fortune. Not only are governments embracing assisted suicide – medically assisted dying – but they are also broadening its reach.

And, as we’ve noted in several pieces, this newfound love of medically assisted death has done wonders for the availability of healthy organs for transplants. Despite being equipped with a growing DNA record of the populace, a political enemies list, a surveillance state, and the legislative authority to convince almost anyone they need to die, no one should be concerned. Noting inappropriate could possibly happen when the compassionate state needs a heart for a ranking party member or one of their children. Sorry, did I type that last part out loud?

Nothing to see here. No slippery slopes as far as your donated cornea can see.

Note: Experts in Quebec have also suggested that assisted suicide is appropriate for the homeless and the poor. What’s next, people who don’t speak French?

The voice is (obviously) the translator.

Back in August, Steve Counseled This: “If You Support Mike Pence You Should Maybe, Probably Stop …”. And?

Mon, 2023-10-23 10:30 +0000

Back in August, Steve counseled this: “If You Support Mike Pence, You Should Maybe, Probably Stop …“. Me, too, by the way. The result? Too many of you listened, heard, and took that advice (heh!).

Emphasis mine, reformatted:

With three months to go before the Iowa caucuses that he has staked his campaign on, former Vice President Mike Pence faces mounting debt and lagging poll numbers that are forcing questions about not only whether he will qualify for the next debate, but whether it makes sense for him to remain in the race until then.

The former Veep is in the second tier of Republican candidates at 3.8% in the aggregated RealClearPolitics polling as of Saturday. In contrast, Trump is at 59.1%

Pence ended September with just $1.18 million left in his campaign account, a strikingly low number for a presidential contest and far less than his rivals, new filings show. His campaign also has $621,000 in debt — more than half the cash he had remaining — and is scrambling to meet donor thresholds for the Nov. 8 debate. While he would likely meet the debate’s polling requirements, Pence has struggled to gain traction and is polling in the low single digits nationally, with no sign of momentum.

Former President Donald Trump, meanwhile, is leading every one of his rivals by at least 40 points in national polls and ended September with $37.5 million on hand.

Let’s face it – the electorate, thus far, is not enamored with an Establishment GOP guy who folded like a cheap suit when the pressure was applied (by the militant gays and corporations that threatened him after he signed the Indiana Law that protected religion).

I understand that he’s a nice guy in person, but I want a brawler out in front of me. Not the living physical embodiment of a cartoon character, Race Bannon, who doesn’t measure up, doesn’t live up even to the cartoon with respect to courage.

There are always those who linger too long in politics, just like former stars in athletics who stay in the game well after their prime. Yes, some for the money, but others still believe they’ve “got it” for one more go-round until Life cleans their clock. Finally humbled, they are forced into retirement.

Pence should take a hint. So should Asa “Who? Why?” Hutchinson at 0.4%.

And WHY is Sununu, given his “Anyone with >5% polling approval should drop out,” still squiring around Chubs “I’m Establishment too!” Christie.Christie. Is it because he is another Never-Trumper? Can there be any other reason?

Music And Friends Were A Needed Relief

Mon, 2023-10-23 03:00 +0000

The last few months have been stressful and frustrating as a conservative American. Actually, the previous three years have been challenging for anyone who loves this country and is angered by Joe Biden. He and the Democrats continue to make bad decisions that are turning every aspect of American Life to mush.

Whether the economy, division, foreign policy debacles, or the utter destruction of our sovereignty, no component of American life is better than three years ago. I have been writing articles daily documenting my assessment of our country’s direction for the last 1,100 days. Being constantly tuned into the news cycle can be a blessing and a curse. It is my choice, and I am not looking for sympathy, but Saturday night was a relief from the tedium.

We gathered eight friends, and the ten of us enjoyed a wonderful dinner and a night of live music. We went to the Casino Ballroom on Hampton Beach, an iconic entertainment venue, and took a step back in time. We listened to the tight sounds of Voyage, a Journey cover band that had the packed house singing and dancing for a couple of hours. The night was a much-needed respite, letting us forget the reality of life for a few hours. The beat of the drums and the lively licks on the lead guitar replaced the sights and sounds of artillery shells hitting their targets in Gaza and the drone of Joe Biden telling us how much more of our money he needs to give to Ukraine, Israel, or Gaza. The excitement and friendship of the night were a welcome break from the sad story perpetrated on the American people by the Biden Administration.

I shake my head in disbelief at the 20% of the population who think we are in a better place today than three years ago. Ignorance or blind faith? You tell me what these people are thinking. They certainly are not living in reality. Ask the majority of people, and they will give you their reasons why this train is on the wrong track. The reasons are endless and discouraging. How can we take power and prosperity and turn it so quickly into soured milk? That is Joe Biden’s singular accomplishment and why his legacy will be of a failed political life and Presidency.

So we took a break on Saturday night. It’s ironic the band was covering the music of Journey, for that is what we are sharing. Looking out on the filled room and watching the unbridled enthusiasm was refreshing and exhilarating. The beat of the music and singing of the crowd was recharging, but then my mind drifted back to a similar scene a couple of weeks ago, halfway around the world. Those hundreds gathered to relax and enjoy the music as one had no idea that evil beings were lurking who wanted them all dead. How can harmony and pure evil coexist? It cannot, and that is why good people must finally turn the table and eradicate those who have no place in their hearts for love as they are filled with anger and hate. Hopefully, the thousands around the world who are protesting for the side of evil will be enlightened. We must show them they are wrong. That is our mission. That is our journey. Saturday night, we had music. Sunday morning, we returned to reality.

The Parasitic Rich Men North of Richmond

Mon, 2023-10-23 01:30 +0000

Seemingly coming out of nowhere was the song “Rich Men North of Richmond” by singer-songwriter Oliver Anthony. Overnight, the laments of one man from Appalachia over the state of the American economy and government spread like wildfire.

In “Rich Men North of Richmond,” Anthony decries the declining value of the US dollar, the lack of accountability for those on Jeffrey Epstein’s client list, and the use of taxpayer dollars to fund obesity through food stamps amidst high taxation. Whilst one could deconstruct the individual issues pointed at by Anthony, it can best be understood by the song title and the chorus:

Livin’ in the new world
With an old soul
These rich men north of Richmond
Lord knows they all just wanna have total control
Wanna know what you think, wanna know what you do
And they don’t think you know, but I know that you do
‘Cause your dollar ain’t shit and it’s taxed to no end
‘Cause of rich men north of Richmond

The song is a lament about the poor state of America at the hands of these “rich men north of Richmond.” These men, of course, are none other than the politicians and bureaucrats of Washington, DC. Any libertarian worth their salt can both empathize and sympathize with the message. Government bureaucrats and politicians have racked up $32 trillion of debt (not including unfunded liabilities), have become involved in at least seven foreign wars since September 11, 2001, and devalued the dollar by more than 90 percent since 1913. It has hardly been easy to be in the working class since the advent of progressivism.

The explosion of Anthony’s song is a fitting time to discuss libertarian class theory, which provides insight into the very problems of these “rich men” and how they have led to the plundering of productive citizenry.

The first proper articulation of libertarian class theory is in Murray Rothbard’s book For a New Liberty, where he applies the theory of John C. Calhoun. This theory is that of the most basic conflict because of government: between those who are net “taxpayers” and those who are net “tax receivers.” The net taxpayers are, of course, those who are expropriated through taxation. They are the productive ranks of society who fall victim to the contradictorily named “progressive income tax.” They are those who receive less in benefit than they pay into the system.

The other side to this class distinction are the net “tax receivers” or “tax recipients.” These are those who generate their income from the state taxation apparatus: the politicians, the bureaucrats, government contractors, and propaganda class. These are the corporations that not only build and maintain the road apparatus but also the dreaded military-industrial complex and other various industries.

The university system, feeding off subsidies through federal student loans, would be another such industry. These industries survive not through a marketplace of free exchange but through government handouts. Politicians might be the most easily identifiable member of this class, taking not only a salary but also other benefits that come with controlling the monopoly on violence.

The tax recipient class is not the product of voluntary exchange, nor is it providing value to consumers; it is the parasite on the productive class of society. What the productive class provides to the average man, the parasitic class, takes through violence. It does not need to provide value to the average man nor is it receptive to the market price system—it is accountable only to the voting populace after years of its parasitism. This parasitic class provides no value, only extracting it from the better members of society.

Anthony’s “rich men” are this parasitic class. The parasitic class taxes every dollar Americans spend, receive and save. The parasitic class has overseen the dollar’s collapse in value. The parasitic class has expanded in its control of American life. The parasitic class does what every parasite does to its host: it drains it closer and closer to death. The struggles of Americans can be laid at the foot of Washington, DC. It has drained every productive force of society and has done so through taxation, borrowing, and inflation.

Even when no longer in office, the parasite class continues to feed the politicians. Thus enters the sect of the parasite class dubbed by Rothbard as “intellectuals,” though one could hardly claim many of them possess true intelligence. One section of Rothbard’s Anatomy of the State, titled “How the State Preserves Itself,” describes the intellectual sect:

For this essential acceptance, the majority must be persuaded by ideology that their government is good, wise and, at least, inevitable, and certainly better than other conceivable alternatives. Promoting this ideology among the people is the vital social task of the “intellectuals.” For the masses of men do not create their own ideas, or indeed think through these ideas independently; they follow passively the ideas adopted and disseminated by the body of intellectuals. The intellectuals are, therefore, the “opinion-molders” in society. And since it is precisely a molding of opinion that the State most desperately needs, the basis for age-old alliance between the State and the intellectuals becomes clear.

One institution of these so-called intellectuals are DC think tanks. These institutions pass themselves off as policymaking prescribers. They claim to adhere to certain principles that guide their prescriptions. But universities and think tanks often act as revolving doors for the political class. Look only to the failures of Anthony Fauci, who was offered a teaching position at Georgetown, or Lori Lightfoot, who became employed by Harvard University. Joe Biden, the current president, was gifted a center at the University of Pennsylvania and a salary of $900,000 per year. Biden did not teach nor assist as faculty; his only utility was association with the university. Even the greatest failures and most despotic of policymakers are fed by the system when they leave the policymaking life.

Out of the fifteen richest counties in the United States, five of them are in Virginia or Maryland surrounding DC. These are not counties that produce large amounts of consumer or higher-ordered goods. These are counties stuffed full of political elites, think tanks, bureaucrats, and military-industrial complex CEOs. These are not productive areas; they are areas that house parasites who feed off average Americans.

Americans lost $10 trillion of wealth during the 2008 financial crisis, which was the fault of the Federal Reserve. To the average American, things are not seeming to get better. Even today, inflation still rages at the official reading of 3.7 percent, making the cost of living higher than ever. The money of the CARES Act didn’t go only to Americans—it went to large corporations that needed to be bailed out.

The United States government sits as the perfect example of the Rothbardian-Calhoun class theory. The political “elites” that sit “north of Richmond” have taken the value created by Americans to line their own pockets. Through every mean, whether that be inflation or blatant taxation, the parasitic class has benefited to the detriment of all Americans.

Oliver Anthony is correct. The “rich men north of Richmond” are indeed hurting the common man. And Godspeed to his message of waking up many Americans to that fact.

In an “Express Trust Indenture,” only what is expressly written is granted authority, and what is not expressly written is forbidden. As an officer and agent of the People, you are bound by fiduciary duties to adhere to the expressly delegated grants of authority issued in the NH Constitution. (See evidence below);

Maxim of Law: QUOD SUB CERTA FORMA CONCESSUM VEL RESERVATUM EST NON TRAHITUR AD VALOREM VEL COMPENSATION. That which is granted or reserved under a certain form is not [permitted to be] drawn into valuation or compensation. Bac.Max. 26, reg. 4. That which is granted or reserved in a certain specified form must be taken as it is granted, and will not be permitted to be made the subject of any adjustment or compensation on the part of the grantee. Ex parte Miller, 2 Hill (N.Y.) 423;

Take notice, Representative Leah Cushman, that I wish for you to show where in the New Hampshire Constitution Legislature has an expressly written grant of authority to form an entity that takes children from families without using constitutional due process;

Take notice that the People have Common Law private rights protected from any compelling public interest the government may claim it has to take children, especially when the government has no first-hand witness sworn affidavits of a trespass by one of the people toward another one of the people. Furthermore, the entity known as DCYF is a creature of the legislature and operates by legislative statutes. There is no jurisdiction for statutory entities to utilize legislatively enacted statutes, to terminate Common Law Rights belonging to any One of The People. Black’s Law 5th Edition defines Common Law as being distinguished from law made by legislative enactment. So a legislative creature by the name of DCYF, moving on the jurisdiction of Legislatively enacted statutes, operating courts that are not independent of the legislature and therefore by definition are not independent courts of record, are collaborating to usurp jurisdiction not belonging to them, to terminate Common Law rights of parents to maintain custody of their own children. Government cannot summarily change the status of one of the people from being one of the people, to other statutory statuses such as obligor, non-custodial parent, terminated parent, etc., without constitutional due process trial by jury, in order to gain jurisdiction in an attempt to bypass the people’s Common Law Private Rights;

Take notice that legal form must be followed; that the NH Constitution is the highest form of law in NH and that its provisions are mandatory (See Mason’s Manual Chapter 2 Section 7 paragraph 1). All laws created by government agents must be in pursuance to the Constitution as stated in NH Const. Pt. 2 Art. 5, no law is permissible that is repugnant or contrary to the Constitution; all rights are reserved to the People; all public officials have a duty to follow the law as seen in the New Hampshire Constitution, whether they swore oath to uphold it, or accepted the trust by way of implied contract; (See evidence below);

Maxim of Law: FORMA LEGALIS FORMA ESSENTIALIS. Legal form is essential form. 10 Coke, 100;

Take notice that when a person becomes an agent of one of the People, it becomes a presumption of law that the agent assents to all the terms of the contract. It is also a presumption of law that an Agent who does not perform the lawful instruction of their Principal, the People, is in breach of Trust unless clear written evidence can overcome that presumption. You are an Agent and Trustee of the People, and your acceptance of office confirms your assent to accept the terms of the trust indenture known as the NH Constitution. (See evidence below);

Maxim of Law: An agent is a person authorized by another to act on his account and under his control. Wasilowski v. Park Bridge Corp., 156 F.2d 612, 614;

Take notice that in every case where the rights of any one of the People are trespassed, “a capacity [exists] residing in one man of controlling, with the assent and assistance of the state, the actions of others.” Holl. Jur. 69. (Blks. Law, 4th Ed. p. 1486) The term “right,” in civil society, is defined to mean that which a man is entitled to have, or to do, or to receive from others within the limits prescribed by law. Atehison & N. R. Co. v. Baty, 6 Neb. 40, 29 Am.Rep. 356. (Blks. Law, 4th Ed. p. 1487);

CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT. A right guaranteed to the citizens by the Constitution and so guaranteed as to prevent legislative interference therewith. Delaney v. Plunkett, 146 Ga. 547, 91 S.E. 561, 567, L.R.A.1917D, 926, Ann.Cas.1917E, 685;

New Hampshire Constitution Part 1 Article 2 [Natural Rights.] All men have certain natural, essential, and inherent rights among which are, the enjoying and defending life and liberty; acquiring, possessing, and protecting, property; and, in a word, of seeking and obtaining happiness. Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by this state on account of race, creed, color, sex or national origin;

PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. As used in constitutional law, this right includes personal freedom, freedom of contract, exemption from oppression or invidious discrimination, the right to follow one’s individual preference in the choice of an occupation and the application of his energies, liberty of conscience, and the right to enjoy the domestic relations and the privileges of the family and the home. Black, Const. Law (3d Ed.) p. 544. Butchers’ Union, etc., Co. v. Crescent City Live Stock, etc., Co., 111 U.S. 746, 4 S.Ct. 652, 28 L.Ed. 585;

Maxim of Law: JURA SANGUINIS NULLO JURE CIVIL! DIRMEI POSSUNT. The right of blood and kindred cannot be destroyed by any civil law. Dig. 50, 17, 9; Bac.Max. reg. 11; Broom, Max. 533; Jackson v. Phillips, 14 Allen (Mass.) 562;

Take notice that it has been made completely clear in section 1101 (6)(d) of the 1935 Social Security Act that there was never an original intent for the Legislature to grant authority to take children against the parents’ objections. (See evidence below):

1935 Social Security Act 1101 (6)(d) [Original Intent of Legislature]
(d) Nothing in this Act shall be construed as authorizing any Federal official, agent, or representative, in carrying out any of the provisions of this Act, to take charge of any child over the objection of either of the parents of such child, or of the person standing in loco parentis to such child. [Emphasis by Highlight Added];

Take notice that DCYF has no authority to interfere with the liberty interest of the People they swore to protect. The People have assembled and now realize and know that government actors have been coming together and using Federal Title 42 programs (non-positive law), and legislative tribunals (not courts of record) to take children from parents unlawfully, without due process of law. This creates a conflict of interest, when our State Trustees who have a fiduciary duty to protect our life, liberty, property, and pursuit of happiness, are accepting federal funds in exchange for taking people’s children from them. This is a clear breach of trust and breach of contract. Children are the private liberty interest of their parents and no government agent or officer has any authority to remove a child from the custody of the parent(s) without proper constitutional due process, to wit, a trial by jury in a judicial court of record. For a public official to remove a child from the home without due process is a public interference of the private liberty interests of the People and is a trespass; harming the people by depriving inalienable rights is an irreparable injury;

Maxim of Law: He does what is contrary to the law who does what the law prohibits; he acts in fraud of the law who, the letter of the law being inviolate, uses the law contrary to its intention. Dig. 1,3, 29;

Maxim of Law: JUS EST NORMA RECTI; ET QUICQUID EST CONTRA NORMAM RECTI EST INJURIA. Law is a rule of right; and whatever is contrary to the rule of right is an injury. 3 Bulst. 313.

Take notice that you, Lori Weaver, are instructed to immediately and openly declare that DCFS is engaged in the unlawful acts of using federal government money and nonjudicial, legislative tribunals, to infringe upon the rights of parents, by taking their children using courts not of record, without constitutional due process. You are further instructed to immediately issue a cease and desist order to all NH DCYF personnel to preclude them from unlawfully removing children from the custody of their parents without constitutional due process of law;

Take notice that in the event Lori Weaver ignores this notice or fails to respond to this lawful instruction, by showing where she has constitutional authority, via sworn affidavit, to use federal tax money through Title 42 programs which are non-positive law, and authority to remove children from the custody of their parents without due process, and to use non-judicial tribunals to infringe on the rights of parents without constitutional due process, then NH Representative Leah Cushman is hereby instructed to form a special committee to investigate NH DCYF and Lori Weaver for all of the above-mentioned trespasses on the People’s constitutional rights. Prior to the investigation, Rep. Cushman is instructed to make a public notice to invite all people in NH to remit affidavits attesting to any trespass by NH DCYF;

Please take final notice: As Trustees and Servants of the People, if you believe these statements to be untrue, or if you believe that you have the authority to disregard the form of law and trample the inherent rights of the People by refusing to follow the demands in this notice, then you must respond by affidavit, point by point, sworn under penalty of perjury, showing what constitutional authority you have as an agent of the People to disobey these demands. If you fail to show clear grants of constitutional authority from within the New Hampshire Constitution and do not then proceed to halt all further taking of children by DCYF without constitutional due process, then your actions are a trespass against the People with full knowledge, intent, and malice. Any disputes by any public officials bound by contract to the New Hampshire Constitution agree to have these matters heard before an Arbitrator of my choice and to be bound thereby, and agree that no court will be able to rehear this matter. All responses must be submitted by affidavit, point by point, sworn under penalty of perjury within fourteen (14) days of receiving this notice, or you agree, by acquiescence, that all statements in this notice are true and fact. Further, you agree that you are acting with full intent, knowledge, and malice by trespassing against the People and that this notice shall stand as evidence, truth, and law in all courts of record. Whether you plan to comply with the demands of this notice or to rebut them, please send your correspondence to the physical mailing address of New Hampshire House Representative Leah Cushman.

Virginia Constitution Article 1 Section 15 Qualities Necessary to Preservation of Free Government
“That no free government, nor the blessings of liberty, can be preserved to any people, but by a firm adherence to justice, moderation, temperance, frugality, and virtue; by frequent recurrence to fundamental principles; and by the recognition by all citizens that they have duties as well as rights, and that such rights cannot be enjoyed save in a society where law is respected and due process is observed.”
This notice is sent to you in peace and with the love of Christ so that you may provide due care to those who have all political power, the People.

Any man or woman who decides to suppress this notice agrees to pay due regard of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) per infraction.

Sun-King Chris Sununu Supports Racial Sacrifice

Sun, 2023-10-22 22:30 +0000

Do you remember Sun-King Sununu’s reaction when Derek Chauvin was convicted of murdering George Floyd? He celebrated the conviction and called it justice:

But there was NO EVIDENCE … never mind “overwhelming evidence” … that Chauvin killed Floyd. Rather, the evidence showed that Floyd died at his own hand from a drug overdose:

What Derek Chauvin was guilty of was having the wrong skin color. His conviction and sentencing were an act of racial atonement, of racial sacrifice. And according to Chris Sununu … that is “justice.”

I Can’t Say That I Wouldn’t Have Had the Same Thought Myself …

Sun, 2023-10-22 21:00 +0000

You’d consider this an outright challenge, yes?  It’s just begging you to try it. And this may be one of the reasons why TMEW has never entertained the idea of letting me get a motorcycle.

She just looked up at me when I asked, “Will you look at this for a moment”?

She looked at the image. Then she gave me “The Look.”

My attempt at trying to have a “look of innocence” flopped as badly as if I really had tried that moving ramp stunt.

Event Updates – New Speakers, Lots of Vendors, Dirt-Cheap Gun Raffle Tickets, and More …

Sun, 2023-10-22 19:30 +0000

Saturday, Oct 28, is shaping up to be a beautiful Fall day, with great weather, speakers, table vendors, food, free speech (a gun raffle), and conversation. All that’s missing, as they say, is you, and we’ve got some updates we hope will encourage you to join us.

We invited vendors and groups to take tables; we’ve got at least 18 of them. Eighteen tables so far and counting – with products or information for you, including books, handouts, and whatever other goodies they’ve planned to bring along.

We’ve updated the speakers list. Author and Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski is still our keynote, but we’ve added Michael Rectenwald. He is the author of Springtime for Snowflakes, Google Archipelago, and more – a White Tower Marxist who was canceled for daring to question one facet of the approved orthodoxy. He’s not with them anymore, but we’ve got him.

Get Your Tickets Today

Laurie Ortolano is speaking, fresh from picking up her Loeb School First Amendment Award (on Oct 26), as is the already-announced Hal Shurtleff, the Camp Constitution guru who won a 9-0 free speech case at the US Supreme Court.

Author and speaker Ian Underwood will also take some time at the podium.

Skip and Steve are still speaking if they let us, but we may have to give one scheduled speaker, Dan Richards, a pass. His business, Global Rescue, was already busy with the Ukraine “conflict” but has been working overtime since the Hamas attack on Israel. But we might be able to sneak in a Zoom call or a quick recorded message – we’re waiting for the final word, which may come that morning or during the event.

More…

The Gun raffle ticket price is a steal—five dollars for one ticket, three for ten, or ten tickets for 20.00. You have to be there to buy them, and … you must be legally able to pass a background check with the FFL to take possession with the dealer, so if you can’t do that, buy something else or donate the money, please. Otherwise, show up and stock up on tickets!

As noted above, the forecast for Saturday (as of today) is 67 and mostly/Partly sunny. If it stays that way, we’ll leave the firepits behind, but we’ve got ’em if we need ’em.

Event ticket buyers will get admission, access to everything, the opportunity to talk with our speakers, and a handful of food and drink tickets to pick and choose from the menu, which includes desserts.

And I won’t lie. We have yet to nail down a band. We want one, but they either charge too much or are…what’s the word, bad. We’re still planning to have music, but we want that to be live!

We have a comedian, well – he thinks he’s funny. You can decide for yourself. And, of course, the best Master of Ceremonies in the Granite State, Jeff Chidester, who is also a speaker at this event.

And I can bring the cornhole set (it is still in the box), but I’ll break it out if anyone is interested.

So please grab a ticket or two, and come and enjoy the food and the company, chat with friends you bring or meet, and enjoy an afternoon celebrating another great day in New Hampshire and to support of independent media in the Granite State and beyond.

All proceeds pay for event costs or to fund GraniteGrok.com. Everyone else has volunteered their time to help us raise money and awareness.

How the AR-15 Divided a Nation – Seriously?

Sun, 2023-10-22 18:00 +0000

Boston University Keeps sending me “Bostonia,” which touts itself as being THE Alumni magazine of BU. Forty years later, I still have no idea how they found me up here in NH (never gave them my address); they keep sending me this rag.

I used to read it, but as it drifted Leftward in its positioning and presentation (as opposed to its down-the-middle description of “alumni of note”), I graduated to merely reviewing the Obits – and then, for years, just tossed it away.

They continue to disappoint me, and I’m sure I’ve disappointed them. I’ve never given them a dime over the decades. Glad, too, given that its current “luminaries,” US CongressTwit AOC and Critical Race Theory grifter Professor Ibram X. Kendi, are the face of BU when it comes to Politics. But now this.

The latest issue.

I dryly note that guns don’t divide a country, people do, but that would ruin their Narrative, wouldn’t it?

I didn’t toss it right away, thinking I’d read it a bit later. Months later, I just read it Saturday morning. Much to my unsurprise, the slant and bias of both the writer and who she interviewed was quite present. So I decided to leave some comments.  I was respectful but I guess calling AOC a “CongressTwit” and Ibram X Kendi, the BU Professor, who is now under investigation of “missing” millions of dollars given to his “Anti-Racism Center”, a “grifter”. Other than that, and stating that Bostonia had slide Leftward over the years, I was actually very respectful. Truely, I was!

That included the one in which I stated that with the deliberate destruction by the Left of traditional American norms and mores, the problem isn’t with an inanimate object but with the minds, hearts, and souls of those that would have the mindset to make such a horrible decision to follow though with actions that would take peoples’ lives. Until the Left finally recognized that, this is merely ignoring the actual root cause.

And I was duly rewarded before I could save of the page to bring them here , the moderator deleted them. I HATE wasting time and they were pretty good, too (IMHO)! Even my last comment in following up the other deletions, in which I said

“for a politically self-categorized article, it’s clear that my political world isn’t acceptable at BU anymore) got deleted.

So, back to the trash can they go. After all:

Groucho Marx: I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.

Breaking: You Can Probably Sue Pfizer Over That Tainted mRNA COVID Vaccine

Sun, 2023-10-22 16:30 +0000

I think we’ve been clear about this. The immunity protections given to Pfizer by the government were never genuine, and the people handing them out knew that. And that while the Pfeds would cover for their own, the rest were on their own. That day may have arrived.

You can now sue the mRNA COVID vaccine manufacturers for damages and the FDA is required to take the COVID vaccines off the market. Why? Adulteration. The plasmid bioactive contaminant sequences were NOT pointed out to the regulatory authorities. It’s considered adulteration.  …

The FDA is now at a crossroads. Either they admit that they knew about the plasma contamination, and failed to disclose that to the public and to the outside committees, or they can claim that they didn’t know about it in which case Pfizer is liable. But we have the Pfizer documents that were given to the FDA so we know what the FDA got. And I seriously doubt there’s any disclosure of SV40 contamination. That means we have an adulterated vaccine and the FDA has to remove it from the market until the adulteration is fixed.

That is Steve Kirsch via Thread reader, and thanks to the small army of “researchers” who sent it to me. And I’m very excited to have hinted at Pfizer’s doom (with a lot of help from the internet) just last week. Two pull quotes from my piece. First,

If you hide details that lead to harm, the political rats will abandon your ship faster than you can say mRNA Vaccines.

That’s the boat Pfizer may soon find itself in, and it should not expect its Pfederal Pfriends to lift a pfinger to help, noting that any who might have probably “retired” and have packed their”stipends” and inducements in their saddle bags as they ride into the sunset. Any still on the payroll (wink-wink) also got what they wanted. A full-scale global tyranny test that a majority of the Western World Pfailed.

And second.

The ‘crats (Demo and Bureau) will feign surprise and outrage if the weight of truth becomes too much for the narrative damn to hold back, they will find the nearest microphone and throw Pfizer under the bus. The Pfeds will lose the Pf and launch investigations while states bring lawsuits to take whatever settlement they can manage as “compensation” for being fooled or in on the scam.

For now, rejoice. Shoddy drug-making and sloppy Quality control (remdesivir with glass particles in it) may have opened the door for a global lawsuit that would end Pfizer, which investors saw coming. There is, of course, at least one fiat. While the government stooges will easily switch sides and take their pound of flesh from either with a wink and a smile, one judge’s ruling is only another ruling away from becoming meaningless.

I don’t think this leaking barrel holds water long-term because of systemic deception.

Tens of thousands of pages of Pfizer and FDA documents are in the public domain. There is clear evidence of misinformation, deception, and fraud. Research continues to pile up, proving the jab was crap, getting it made matters worse, getting more of it worst still. And people were wising up to that.

The FDA and CDC then drove disinformation down into the state and local public health Matrix, and the process was multiplied. They created the tagline that will come to haunt them.

Safe and Effective. It was neither. And they have been avoiding the conversation becasue it makes them look dumber than the people they’ve been ridiculing who told the truth. That means you burn any bridge to save some face. So whichever way the ill wind blows, the Government franchise of the Medical Industrial Complex will cover its bloated ass, and blowing up Pfizer is a small price to pay.

And Pfizer doesn’t have a police force if you take my meaning.

So, once they get the okay, every DA and AG across the fruited plain will want a vulture in line to pick at the carcass. And they’ll pretend that means they were looking out for you all along. And? How about more regulations and more government to regulate the regulators?

You can count on that.

Whatever happens, don’t be distracted by the potential for the largest class action lawsuit in human history, Pfizer’s inability to pay what they should, or any government is your health-freedom friend crap. None of them has your back (we do). And all do it again in a heartbeat.

But you saw through the covid crap the first time, so keep that eyesight sharp and your BS meter ready.

Stay frosty.

Slippery Meet Slope – Allowing Drug Addicts to Request Medically Assisted Dying

Sun, 2023-10-22 15:00 +0000

The government in Canada has both embraced and promoted medically assisted dying. Assisted suicide. It started with the chronically ill, but soon, almost anyone could ask the government to please kill them, even those who thought they wanted to live.

Government-approved euthanasia is not new and does not always begin as a call for compassion, but it always develops mission creep. In our so-called modern age, Nation-states or just states stand teary-eyed, choking on their empathy, begging us to give them the authority to end life. It is a kindness. A gift. To stop their suffering. But much the way a hammer sees every problem as a nail, so do the regulators and legislators who empower your government with this hand of death.

The tale begins with word salads of concern for the dignity of the chronically ill—those few who cannot separate daily living from pain, inevitably leading to the government ending life to escape its failures or to solve problems it created. Hide them, even. Every possible encumbrance upon the state is increasingly solved by “allowing” some class of “burden” to end its life.

The old, the poor, the homeless, the depressed, Veterans with PTS, anyone who is a strain on the socialized health system or the welfare budget, and eventually, inevitably, those who speak out against the government.

Housing crisis – look, something just opened up. Not enough food because you won’t let farmers grow it, or perhaps you think there are too many people on your planet?

Another lockdown will have them lining up for a mental illness date with Dr. Death.

Related: Progressive Governing 101: If You Make Life Miserable People Will Volunteer to Kill Themselves

Oh, Steve, that’ll never happen. Except it has or will. Mental health issues are defined by state social workers and therapists, most of whom were trained by partisan Marxist progressives who are all eugenicists and social engineers with the power not just to recommend assisted suicide but to counsel their patients to consider it.

Encouraged by those above their pay grade, they become end-of-life counselors of opportunity. I know you think you want to live, but this is what’s best.

And if you think that sort of handling is crazy talk, NH banned its therapists from counseling the gender confused toward their birth sex, even if that’s what the patient wants. It would be a crime.

States like Oregon have made assisted suicide (MAiD) available to everyone. Hawaii has shortened the waiting period to a few days (you would wait three times as long to get a handgun). Beginning in the Spring of 2024, drug addicts in Canada will have their own box car to carry them to the Medically assisted dying camps. And why not? Keeping the drugs out is expensive. Policing them once we’ve let them in is expensive. Recovery programs that may not work are expensive. If there’s a risk of a drug overdose anyway, and they don’t recall like people anyway, let the state overdose you in peace. Many problems solved.

Slippery Slope.

Dr David Martell, physician lead for Addictions Medicine at Nova Scotia Health, who is presenting the framework at the conference, told VICE News: ‘I don’t think it’s fair, and the government doesn’t think it’s fair, to exclude people from eligibility because their medical disorder or their suffering is related to a mental illness.

‘As a subset of that, it’s not fair to exclude people from eligibility purely because their mental disorder might either partly or in full be a substance use disorder. It has to do with treating people equally.’

It has to do with killing anyone you can convince needs to die. Anyone?

Not that long ago, after Trump was elected in 2016, the soothsayers in the Donkey Party saw signs in the bilgewater wells of their ruined cities. Biblical plagues (minus the Bible), from economic crises to famine to nuclear war. They were, of course, projecting. Back in power, Democrat fears become real for their political opponents, complete with collateral damage Nancy Pelosi promised, always with the specter of a mental illness diagnosis lurking in the wings.

They always said you had to be crazy to support that guy or that thing or to think that way. COVID etched that perception in granite. They will do whatever they can get away with and a few things they likely can’t if it secures their political power.

As a reminder.

A government that thinks there are too many of us, that we are some sort of burden, and encourages medically assisted suicide will always make its citizens suicidal and then pretend it is a kindness to kill them.

That is not speculation or conspiracy theory; it is a fact. Over the past several years, nation-states have gone to great lengths to ensure mental health distress, chronic drug abuse, and illness. At the same time, the more progressive players have either instituted medically assisted suicide or made it easier for you to “qualify.”

Depending on how far gone, the State will declare its political opponents (agitators who brought them to power and agitators who oppose their power) mentally unfit, make them disappear in jails or in mental institutions where they will either kill themselves (suicide), or ask to die (assisted suicide).

Who among us refuses to believe that a government that would lock up and isolate its citizens as political prisoners without due process rights might also brainwash them into accepting medically assisted dying, were it an option? How about in a society where the same government punishes opposing political speech?

Assisted suicide supporters mean well, but in the end, just like welfare, it will cause more harm to good people than do good to people in need.

Freedom is messy, life is a bitch, and personal responsibility is demanding, but governments are evil. And we’ve allowed ours off their leash too long to trust them with this.

Even in New Hampshire.

Pulpit Polity – “That Book, Sir, Is the Rock Upon Which Our Republic Rests.”

Sun, 2023-10-22 13:30 +0000

This week, I want us to examine the thinking of some of our most important Founding Fathers and Presidents in regard to the place that the Bible has influence in the governing of our nation. The period of the first 150 years of our country’s founding is significant because the foundation was being laid for the building of a nation.

Our nation, America, was conceived in the thoughts and hearts of our Founding Fathers and expressed in our great documents of the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and the Bill of Rights. These great documents contain many direct references to scripture and its nuances. The Judeo-Christian Bible was the most consulted book that our Founding Fathers and our current leaders used in seeking to build a great Nation.

In light of the decline monetarily (excessive debt), morally (myriads of assaults on God-given sexuality and fidelity in marriage), and violence in our streets…it is important that we reflect on our decline and ask the simple question, “How did we get here?”

Well, when we stray from the blueprint (the Bible) and seek to build apart from the clear guidelines laid out for nation-building in the scriptures, we create a culture of confusion, a society of no morals, no clear right or wrong. That is where we have drifted, too, since we have severed the chords of faith from government in the name of individual rights over clear truths of nature and nature God.

Two important scriptures speak to us of God being involved in the blessing of Nations. Psalm 33:12 states: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,” and Proverbs 14:34 says: “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”

Let’s examine a few quotes in regard to the place and importance of the Bible and Prayer in the minds and lives of some of our most influential leaders.

“It is impossible to Govern the World without God and the Bible.” George Washington

“We have staked the whole future of American civilization not on the power of government, far from it. We have staked the whole of our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves according to the commandments of God. The future and success of America is not in the Constitution, but in the laws of God upon which the Constitution is founded.”James Madison

“ The first and almost the only book deserving of universal attention is the Bible. I speak as a man of the world..and I say to you, “Search the Scriptures.” John Quincy Adams

“That book, sir, is the Rock upon which our Republic rests.” Andrew Jackson

“ In regard for this Great Book, I have this to say, it is the best gift God has given to man. All the good Savior gave to the world was communicated through this Book.”

Abraham Lincoln

“ Hold fast to the Bible as the sheet anchor of your liberties, write its precepts in your hearts, and practice them in you lives. To the influence of this book are we indebted for all the progress made in true civilization, and to this we must look as our guide to the future.” Ulysses S. Grant

“ If you take out or your statutes, your constitution, your family life all that is taken form the Sacred Book, what would be left to bind society together? Benjamin Harrison

“ We cannot read the history of our rise and development as a nation without reckoning with the place the Bible has occupied in shaping the advances of the Republic. Where we have been the truest and most consistent in obeying its precepts, we have attained the greatest measure of contentment and prosperity.” Franklin Roosevelt.

“Inside the Bible’s pages lie all the answers to all the problems man has ever known…It is my firm belief that the enduring values presented in its pages have a great meaning for each of us and for our nation. The Bible can touch our hearts, order our minds, and refresh our souls.” Ronald Regan

“The rights of man came not from the generosity of the state but from the had of God.” John F. Kennedy

There are of course hundreds of quotes from famous leaders conveying the importance of the Bible in our culture for the good of all society. If you have never taken the time to read the Bible, (even if you are not a person of religious persuasion), I would encourage you to examine this amazing book…in the words of Hebert Hoover, “The study of the Bible is a post-graduate course in the richest library of human experience.”

Until next week….

If You Wanted Another Reason to NOT Get the Next COVID Shot …

Sun, 2023-10-22 12:00 +0000

This is timely. Just days after a UK report on how 95% of those who died from COVID had the COVID vaccines and boosters, CDC Director Mandy Cohen and Senator Chuck (It’s not a) Schumer are asking you to get updated flu and Covid “vaccination.”

Why?

Who needs a reason? Seriously? The sun rises, you pay taxes, and you roll up your sleeves for America. Or not. We also reported that 98% of Americans have not lined up for the latest thing. The Power of the Pandemic has lost its allure. I won’t say that mass psychosis has, at least for the media and the elites. The world showed them their ass during COVID, especially Western Democracies, so they’ll want to keep spanking that.

I have my doubts about the Cohen-Schumer One-Two Beg getting job one done. Especially when Chuck says, “They will do you a lot of good…it will avoid a lot of pain later.” Weaponized flu may still have legs, and in blue cities, states, and counties, their desire to scratch the itch is like Stimpy wanting to hit the bright red button. Still, if you’ve got people inoculated against the idea that voting by mail is fraud by mail everywhere else in the world, there is no need to play dress up.

Credit where it’s due, however, Senator, as the UK COVID data suggests, you might be one booster away from helping COVID kill you and dead people feel no pain later.

Here it is if you’d like a good laugh. Beauty and the Beast? Herman Munster and Cousin Marilyn. Jaclyn and Hyde. One of your own, if you prefer.

The Inherent Evils of Centrism

Sun, 2023-10-22 10:30 +0000

The middle, compromising stance of those called “centrists” or “moderates” is very often mistaken for a balanced and reasonable position. Little else is worse than an entire world tricked into what rationally amounts to crime, thinking it is balanced, realistic, and optimal.

The centrist has become convinced that their middle position is the only fair and just stance and that anything else is imbalanced extremism. The opportunity to rationally examine these assertions has never been as important as it is now.

Let us start by realizing that most people do not actually call themselves centrists yet are convinced that their views are a proper mixture of ideas, a negotiation to meet somewhere in the middle, which is what centrism entails. Whether this is a mixture of safety and freedom, socialism and capitalism, or collectivism and individualism, few have admitted that their unique mixture ratio is behind their confidence in their own political views. Most are convinced that they have the right mixture, while they believe those with different views have their mixture somewhat off.

How many traditional conservatives are against socialism without realizing that many of their views are based on socialism? They do not put the label of “socialism” on their beloved military, police, and public schools, but these are textbook examples of socialism. How many progressives for wealth distribution via government will truly admit that they want the profit motive to remain as the deep well from which they can perpetually draw? Nearly everyone has a mix, if only so they can satisfy themselves that they are not radical extremists.

To further the confusion, there are parallels in our world that suggest to us that a mixture is best, like the alloys of metals being more useful than pure metals alone or the right temperature being a mixture of not too hot and not too cold. It is intuitive to infer a moderate compromise in social, economic, and political matters.

Now, let us see the mixture from a different perspective. Engineers do not strive for a healthy balance of both planes that continue to fly and planes that fall from the sky. They are very imbalanced in their view that all planes should continue flying without issue to every possible extent. We would find it unacceptable if the legal system outwardly promoted a healthy mix of bringing criminals to justice and letting them do whatever they want. The point to see here is that we must not mix poison into our food and call that a healthy balance.

No percentage of violent crimes have a fitting place in civilization, same with fraud, corruption, and a long list of wrongful acts. The practice of forceful plunder through the apparatus called “government” is the rational equivalent of criminality, asserting that the ability to do so equates to the right to do so, and dismissing other peaceful means for funding as if they are inferior. No degree of what is rationally criminal is somehow a quality ingredient to mix into one’s political stance, even if the current laws legitimize it. That it comes from the basis of “might makes right” and violates inalienable rights means that justifying any degree of it makes a person complicit with this criminality, which is objectively criminal and evil because objective reality is altered thereby, to the subtraction from objective and measurable well-being.

Well-intentioned people of all kinds mix in ideas that are objectively criminal, not seeing with rational eyes because they used the going laws as their only measure for what is just. Even those reaching for higher moral ideology believe in things like city-states and small or local governments as the solution, as if to not have fully admitted that nobody is fit or entitled to rule, whether they are a person or a group. It is the rational that gives us the tools to collaboratively orchestrate law and order, and the same that stands as the constant standard for what is good and evil, what preserves rational rights, and what depletes them. If rationalism can reveal what toxic and evil justifications we might have mixed into our views, it can be the tool for helping us clean up our views, even if someone thinks that doing so will amount to extremism.

American’s Have Different Priorities Than Joe Biden

Sun, 2023-10-22 03:00 +0000

Mr. Biden speaking from the Oval Office, addressed the nation about the Wars in Israel and Ukraine. He spoke in lofty terms about America’s role in the world, saying in part, “… We’re facing an inflection point in history…” and told us he will spend our money taking on Hamas and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Mr. Biden plans on asking Congress for another $60B in Ukraine and $10B for Israel, with smaller sums for Taiwan and the US border. Those are political sweeteners. Ya gotta spread it around to get it done in DC.

But are these the priorities of the American people?

A recent poll from Reuters News Service says 19% of Americans rate the economy as their greatest concern. Second was illegal immigration, and third was crime. That sentiment of priorities is echoed in polling from outlets like Statista and Pew Research Center.

We want to thank Marc Abear for this Contribution – Please direct yours to Editor@GraniteGrok.com.
You can review our ‘Op-Ed Guidelines‘ on the FAQ Page.

An AP poll released this week says nearly 70% of Americans think Mr. Biden has engaged in criminality or unethical behavior connected to his family’s foreign business deals.

A CBS poll shows 57% of Americans think Mr. Biden is going too easy on China. China is one of the countries where he and his family maintained relations, resulting in lucrative contracts. 50% think Mr. Biden is making the US weaker in the world. And 31% approve of his foreign policy agenda.

My nickel’s worth says we have to lockdown the southern border. Our open border is having a cascading effects throughout the country, from crushing our communities with drugs and fentanyl deaths, saddling our cities with profound economic burdens to take care of illegals, and giving an open door to untold numbers of unvetted, uninvited foreigners, with record numbers on our terror watch list.

We need to focus on re-establishing law and order in America. The goal is to allow families and kids to flourish in a safe environment. We must create that same safe environment for private industry and manufacturers to both flourish and rebuild business operations previously shipped offshore.

China is America’s gravest threat, hands down. Nothing and no one else comes close. Not climate, not Russia and Putin, not Hamas; China is our greatest threat. The US military, law enforcement, and intelligence communities have confirmed this… repeatedly. The economy has been screaming about it. The vast majority of available American resources should be used to counter China.

That’s because the good news is there are some smart solutions to the China problem, though they are not easy. But the two that are in our most immediate control that would solve most of our problem would include revoking all US visas held by Chinese citizens and sending them all back home. And forcing Chinese investors to divest their holdings, most especially those land purchases in this country.

There will be times when it’s important to give foreign aid or to refocus our military spending. When we do, the guiding principle should be to support the people and countries that will prevent a global fight with the Communist Party of China or shore up our defenses.

There might be smart exceptions to that. Israel is an example. That’s where Presidential discernment comes into play. But those are my suggestions to you. Lockdown the southern border, re-establish law and order, and take on the Chinese.

What’s clear is that poll after poll shows Mr. Biden’s message fell on deaf ears. We have different priorities than he does. We’re not interested in his message, nor are we listening to the messenger. It’s time for change… because he’s killing our security, our prosperity, and our hope.

Tucker Carlson: President Trump Is Not the Cause of Failed Government; He Is Our Response to It.

Sun, 2023-10-22 01:30 +0000

I have not yet picked a candidate for President. For me, I am really late in doing so but I just haven’t had the bandwidth to “go after them”, to meet them, to interrogate them, and make them prove their case to me that they best represent what I believe in and are demanding of them. You all know why so I’m not going to rehash them.

That said, other than “Asa Hutchinson – WHY?” again, I just ran across this from the Conservative Treehouse in which Tucker is talking about The Donald in terms that the Left AND the Establishment Right just doesn’t get:

Will I vote for him in the Primary? Dunno. Will I if he becomes the nominee?

Yes.
