The original Tory preference for remaining British subjects rather than free American citizens has been recycled into a mindlessness that prefers the collective abyss of socialism over remaining as free Americans.
If nothing else, this foolishness highlights the extent to which these mind games have elevated today’s irrelevant but dangerous reasoning. While our basket teems with examples, how about our “melting pot” logo? Americans are by their individual relocation efforts a mongrel breed; which then her “melting pot” transforms into one identifiable being; that of an American!
Given our history of success, how can this chant for “diversity” be supported, and for what purpose? For these inherently un-American thoughts to become so universally embraced, the presence of multiple antagonistic influences deserves both our suspicion and ridicule.
This issue of demanding racial equality is typical of the brand of public antagonism and division that is at work today. Would someone please be bold enough to suggest just how out-of-date this racial crusade actually is? The most recognizable example of this non-issue comes from the life story of Dr. Ben Carson. His life began as part of a single-parent family, amid tenement-living poverty and being on the troubled streets with the wrong crowd. From the loving efforts of his mother, coupled with his own initiative, he lifted himself up to the heights of being one of America’s top neurosurgeons! All this was possible in our opportunity-laden and racially-balanced America!
The annoying call for socialism over capitalism defines the public’s defiant and persistent ignorance! The same holds true for the more common belief of “democracy” rather than appreciating our Constitutional Republic. This democracy chant is a product of repetitive messaging, which probably aligns with similar family mindsets, both from being infused by school curriculums! In reality, socialism is a dead-end street leading to despair and poverty versus our Republic’s offerings of individual rights and endless opportunity. Actually, neither socialism nor a democracy acknowledges any individual right, much less our listing of ten!
The supposed igniter of today’s rebellion was supposedly in retaliation for an act of police brutality, which turned out to be another pipedream. As time passed and protest destruction increased, other causes/reasons surfaced to justify further. Again, as with the original anti-police claim, all were baseless and mostly centered upon emotions from earlier times, ala George Floyd, rather than actual and more current injustices.
Feeding this chaos is this consistent and obvious BS factor! Is America perfect? No! However, what other country sacrificed so much to free other nations? What other country generously responds to natural disasters around the world? And what other country grants the opportunity and freedom to a yearly number of foreign immigrants entering into and being accepted as part of America’s famous “melting pot” of citizens?
We all should be aware of this dangerous attempt to divide our people and to reduce our living standards. Such venues originate and support the corrupt and evil enemies of all civilized societies. Also, today’s Americans are at a crossroads since too many refuse to accept the fact that this enemy element has been elected into our Country’s highest governing positions.
At least back in the day, those Tories were mainly reacting to the comfortable “old shoe” excuse—or simply, what is already known versus what is unknown and iffy. Today, it’s a different equation. This upheaval is being tutored in closed sessions. When one adds the recent excursion into gender selection, any skepticism of injustice, social or racial imbalance, white supremacy, etc., are just the enemy’s thrusts to divide further.
Time to objectively scan our countryside. How was all this possible if America was so immoral and unjust? America has been great and can be again. If this thought annoys, without any politics involved, then what is reflected in your morning mirror is not that of an American!
Lastly, there is but one reason for this collectivism mantra, this ‘team player’ concept or this awarding of a ‘participation’ trophy. It’s to erase any lingering memories of competition or of being an individual who can excel. This American bedrock of an individualistic “can do” belief stands in their way! One’s conversion to communism is easier if being a team player is the norm. When comparing this slack in effort and zeal to excel to the limitless horizon afforded by an independent-thinking American, the puzzle is no longer. America needs to not only be great again but also be free again!

N.J. Governor Slammed for Public Records Overhaul Bill
Worried about possible corruption, critics are hammering New Jersey Democrat Gov. Phil Murphy for signing a measure to restrict access to government records.
The new legislation overhauls New Jersey’s existing Open Public Records Act and could make it harder for media outlets and the public to access some documents, The Hill reported.
It would also continue to limit access to government text and email correspondence and allow agencies to charge more for releasing information — even if the evidence is not in complete form.
Also, the law makes it harder on lawyers to get back fees in cases where requests are wrongfully denied by agencies, The Hill reported.
In a signing statement, Murphy acknowledged the law could disappoint some, but insisted that adjustments are “relatively modest.”
“I want to acknowledge that I know that this decision will disappoint many members of the advocacy community, including a number of social justice, labor, and environmental organizations, among others,” Murphy said in his statement. “I have heard the many objections to the bill directly, and I know that they are made in good faith and with good intentions.”
He continued: “And I know that closer to home, New Jerseyans across the political spectrum feel deeply betrayed and outraged by the serious allegations that our senior United States Senator accepted bribes from a foreign government,” referring to Sen. Bob Menendez, I-N.J., who is on trial for public corruption.
“If I believed that this bill would enable corruption in any way, I would unhesitatingly veto it,” Murphy said.
Critics were skeptical.
The League of Women Voters of New Jersey wrote in a post on X that the move marks a “dark day” for democracy.
“Instead of listening to the public and safeguarding transparency, NJ lawmakers have turned their backs on one of our essential rights. Hobbling public access to information is neither reform or modernization,” Jesse Burns, chair of the organization said in a statement. “This long struggle to defend democracy has proven we must restore power to the people of this state so they cannot continue to be blatantly ignored by those that are meant to serve them.”
Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey, a nonprofit, stated the bill is a “travesty and a “major blow” to transparency.
Bill backers say the legislation was designed to help out clerks who deal with many public records requests, The Hill reported.

Arlene Quaratiello is an NH House Rep. and local Librarian who ran afoul of the wokeasaurus in Raymond when she dared to exercise her First Amendment right to free speech by supporting a candidate for which her Public Library “betters” did not approve.
Rep. Quaratiello sent a letter to a local newspaper, endorsing conservative candidates for a public library position. She endorsed these candidates because they took the “controversial” position that sexually explicit books should not be in the children’s section of the library.
Arelen, wwho contributes to these pages from time to time, was frog-marched into a meeting with “Director Corbett, a Library trustee, and the town manager.” Betters who, to be honest, are not very bright.
They told her she was terminated “because of [her] lack of separation of personal/political values and agendas from DTL [Dudley-Tucker Library] policies, procedures, and occurrences” and because she was “not able to maintain the separation between personal and Library tenets.” Our client – who is an elected official – asked if this meant that she was terminated for her political activity, and they confirmed it.

Our lawsuit was about protecting the rights of citizens to speak out about the issues that affect all of us and ensuring a conservative voice can still be heard.
The court’s consent decree, in our case, does exactly that. First, the library is now obligated to publicly admit what it did; the order includes a statement that Arlene was terminated “because she engaged in off duty, public, expressive, political activity, outside the scope of her employment with the Library.”
Second, the library agreed to make the following public statement admitting wrongdoing:
The Dudley-Tucker Library regrets its conduct toward Quaratiello and the violation of Plaintiff Quaratiello’s constitutional rights, and will remind, in writing, all personnel to refrain from engaging in disciplinary activity that punishes the First Amendment activities of employees. The Dudley-Tucker Library and Town of Raymond will take any other actions reasonably necessary to ensure this type of constitutional violation does not occur again.
This is especially important, as governmental entities almost never admit wrongdoing.
Third, the court entered an order that will ensure our client’s rights are protected in the future. This order does the following five things: (1) it declares that the termination of Rep. Quaratiello “for her political activity constituted a violation of her First Amendment rights”; (2) it orders the defendants to expunge any negative documents relating to this incident from their employee files; (3) it enjoins the defendants “from disciplining Plaintiff Quaratiello or other similarly situated employees for off-duty political speech and activity that does not occur using Library resources or time”; (4) it requires the library to “reiterate to all employees that Library policy cannot and does not prohibit employees from engaging in off-duty, constitutionally-protected political activity”; and (5) it requires an addition to the employee handbook acknowledging these fundamental rights.
All necessary to ensure Arlene and eveyrone else is protected, at least formally on paper, from the random fits of melting snowflakes.
I did reach out to Arlene. She assures me that she will have a story to share in the comming days so watch for that.

More specifically, the hospital LIED and told the public it was no longer performing “gender-affirming care,” … when in fact it continued to do so. Imagine that, bitter-clingers, those “good people” on the Left that you believe we can and should “bipartisan” with, “get along” with, etc., etc., etc., FLAT OUT LIED. And the doctor exposed the liars.

His Excellency was crooning about the great job the Sununu administration has done at keeping electric rates comparatively lower than other New England States. But put in proper context, this only means that given all the choices, New Hampshires sucked the least.
When Gov. Chris Sununu was first sworn in as governor in January 2017, New Hampshire residents were paying 18.42 cents per kilowatt hour for electricity. After seven years in office — February 2024 — the rate was 23.76 cents per kwh. That 29 percent increase in ratepayer costs was lower than every New England state except Vermont.
The math is simple. During Sununu’s administration, rates increased more in Maine (70 percent), Massachusetts (83 percent), Connecticut (94 percent), and Rhode Island (127 percent) than in the Granite State, according to data from the Information Administration (EIA) “Electric Power Monthly” report.
I’m not applauding a 30% hike in the cost of electricity simply because the state laboratories that surround us created bigger monsters than we did. We were paying too much before Chris Sununu got elected, and we’re paying too much plus 30% as he prepares to leave the office. A wake into which we have a major offshore wind project that will make electricity into the New England Grid even more expensive—a pricey capacity (assuming it gets built) that is onshored in the Granite State but not a planned part of our mix. We lost two coal plants. Se brook should be building/upscaling to a second reactor (if carbon-free energy is so vital), not plotting its eventual demise (however many years that is down the road). Hydro has not been tapped adequately. We need better LNG infrastructure from Portsmouth to the north country.
Sununu’s record on energy price and security isn’t great—it’s not even good. It is just better than the bigger losers surrounding us.
Wind continues to get more expensive thanks to higher demand and the lousy national and global economy. So, while New Hampshire’s rising rates will continue to look better compared to places like Massachusetts and Maine, it is a least worst-case scenario we shouldn’t even be in. And maybe that’s part of the reason for all the support these whale-killing wind machine projects have garnered. What if that’s the secret ingredient? Democrats want it because they have a mental illness, and Sununu Republicans like it because until we do, other states rising rates will rise faster than our own.
Whatever the scheme, none of it is sustainable. It is not good business to plan to be appealing by being less undesirable than your neighbors. There are plenty of places for businesses and industries to go that have significantly lower fixed energy costs than New Hampshire. And when the price gets high enough to make moving look cheap, they will leave—not for ME, MA, VT, CT, NY, or RI, but south and west, taking jobs, GDP, and tax revenue.
It is also worth noting that there are no Demcorats running to replace Sununu who don’t want to screw us as hard and as fast as possible with the albatross of climate alarmism. “Prices would necessarily skyrocket,” to paraphrase a rare honest Obama moment, Kelly Ayotte supported Barry Obama’s destructive climate plans as a US Senator. That leaves Chuck Morse, who is running to the right but might like Sununu’s bragging rights on electricity rates—the least worst example of what is supposed to be best for us.
None of it looks great from where I’m sitting.

Let’s face it. Islam is like a deadly, contagious disease. Once it invades its victim’s mind, it can transform him into a helpless pawn with no choice but to execute what he is directed to do. The vast majority of the victims of communism were indeed people living in communist states. Some 38 million Soviets were killed because of communism. Tens of millions of Chinese citizens were killed because of communism. That the victims of communism were primarily members of socialist societies says a great deal about the ideology itself.
It is also true with Islam. Muslims are the primary victims of Islamic ideology. The political system of Islam, just like fascism and communism, is a dysfunctional ideology that needs to be abandoned. Islam’s charter Quran is the root cause of Islamic terrorism, just as Marxism was the root cause of international communist totalitarianism.
Of the reported 1.2 billion Muslims in the world, millions are already trapped in the terminal stages of this affliction, while millions of others are rapidly joining them. The people enslaved with the extreme cases of Islamic mental disease are highly infectious. They actively work to transmit the disease to others. At the same time, they themselves engage in horrific acts of mayhem and violence to demonstrate their unconditional obedience to the dictates of the Islamic cult.
A true Muslim does not and cannot believe in freedom of choice. In Islam, “submission” leads everything to Allah, as clearly and repeatedly stipulated in the Quran. The raison d’être for the Muslim is unconditional submission to the will and dictates of Allah. Everything that a “good” Muslim does is contingent upon the will and decree of Allah, in which the Muslim has been indoctrinated.
Islam, by its very nature, is patriarchal and authoritarian. Once liberty is surrendered for submission, serious consequences present themselves. The individual becomes little more than a passive, obedient vessel of Allah, drastically changing his perspective of himself and life. Once he submits to the all-powerful, all-knowing, he is absolved of the responsibility of having to chart his own way of life.
Acts of horrors committed in Islamic lands aside, it is disturbing to see Muslims dissimulate, sweet-talk, and use any and all means in free non-Islamic societies to convert people to their cult. Yet, if a Muslim, on his own free will, decides to leave Islam, he is condemned as an apostate and automatically sentenced to death. And right here in America, the suffocating tentacles of Islamic bigotry are beginning to reach out to people. In the recent past, for instance, a teenage girl had to run away from her Muslim family, fearing her own father would kill her for becoming a Christian.
Consider the boys. Millions of young boys are enrolled in madrasahs—religious boarding schools—learning little besides memorizing and reciting the Quran. This is a case of total submission: Islam at its best, as championed by the oil-money-flushed Saudi patrons of the Wahhabi sect.
Slaveholder Islam is not content to limit its inhuman, barbaric system to its traditional homelands. It has penetrated millions of adherents throughout Europe, America, and the world. Many of the new arrivals from the failed Islamic states do not realize that it is Islam that is the root cause of their centuries of backwardness and misery. These imprinted-from-birth Muslims are robots who are programmed to do all they can in obedience to the dictates of Muhammad’s Mein Kempf, the Quran (My Ummah).
It is a sad fact that generation after generation of Sunni Muftis—highest-ranking Sunni clerics—and Ayatollahs—highest-ranking Shiite clerics, over the years have indoctrinated their underlying clergy as well as the masses with selective teachings that promote intolerance, exclusion, and hostility toward non-Muslims—people labeled as heathens, infidels, unbelievers, and apostates. Selective choice of the scripture, combined with a siege mentality endemic to the cradle of Islam, the Middle East, generates a fury of hatred that has the potential of devouring the world. If only Muslims could purge the negative aspects of its scripture and practice its positive teachings, the world would become a diverse community of humanity at peace with one another. The question is: Is that ever possible?
The fact that Islam is a splintered house complicates matters considerably. The faith is divided into Sunni and Shiite sects with numerous sub-sects. The divisions and contentiousness are so profound that members of one sect consider the other Muslims as apostates worthy of death. The division goes back to the time of the Prophet himself. Shiites believe that the enemies of true faith subverted its chain of authority at Muhammad’s death. While on his deathbed, they claim that the Prophet asked for a parchment to dictate his will and appoint Ali, his cousin and son-in-law, as his successor.
The Shiites claim that Umar, an influential disciple and commander of the faith, declined the request to the Prophet: hasbena ketab-ul-llah—sufficient unto us is the book of God. Before long, division and infighting started in earnest and continues to this day. Oppression of Shiite minorities in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are only two glaring instances of this longstanding and irreconcilable intra-faith hostility. The Shiite majorities in other lands return the favor to the Sunni minorities, as is the case in Iran. The recent horrific sectarian killings in Iraq represent glaring instances of irreconcilable differences among the various claimants to the mantle of faithful Islam.
One of the issues Muslims worldwide are in general agreement on is the status of women. It places women squarely under the thumb of men. It says in the Quran: Alrejaalo qawaamoon al-alnesa—men are rulers over women. Women of the non-Islamic world have valiantly worked to attain a degree of equality with men. They are not likely to barter their hard-earned rights for the privilege of becoming head-to-toe covered second-class citizens, deprived of education and opportunities. We, non-Muslim men, are not going to leave our emancipated, fully participating, and contributing members of our society behind and subjugate ourselves to a brutal set of Sharia laws that were enacted by a stone-age mentality.
Achievements thrive in a marketplace of free ideas, where beliefs and viewpoints, not people, clash. The best decisions and actions are reached through the unimpeded clash of ideas. Political Islam is anathema to this invaluable principle. Islam violated this vital principle, and it aims to continue to do so to this day. Islam’s inflexible and intolerant dogmatism is at the heart of the Islamic world’s stagnation and backwardness.
The best yet difficult resolution of the conflict is to do what hundreds of thousands of Iranian Muslims have already done. They have abandoned the slaveholder Islam: they broke loose from the yoke of the exploitive clergy, renounced Islamofascisim, purged the discriminatory and bizarre teachings in the Quran and the Hadith, and left the suffocating tent of dogmatic Islam for the life-giving expanse of liberty.
Reforming Islam requires discarding Sharia but also purging the Quran itself from enormous suras that are not only patently false but totally repugnant to civilized humanity. This line of thinking, to sanitize Islam, is explicitly forbidden in the Quran; however, within the emancipating and accommodating haven of liberty, those who wish to remain Muslim by name only can retain and practice the sound teachings of Islam but renounce intolerance, hatred, and violence. It takes tremendous vision, effort, and courage to ascend from the degrading pit of slavery to the mount of emancipation. Yet, I’d like to remain hopeful that it is both possible and exhilarating to do it since many Iranians have already done so successfully and happily.
As more and more people leave the shackles of Islamic slavery, more and more will follow, and the long-suffering Muslims, victimized by Islam itself for far too long, will be free people in charge of their own lives and destinies. It is a painful yet worthy process of growing up, asserting one’s coming of age, and marching lockstep with the free members of the human race.

To get you up to speed, Beth Scaer applied to fly the Pine Tree Flag on the Citizens Pole in front of the Nashua City Hall. Her petition was denied, as was her appeal to the mayor. Yesterday, some very peaceful protesters gathered with a bunch of Pine Tree Flags and did a bit of flag waving in front of City Hall.

It was not a large gathering, but it gave me an idea. If the City won’t fly it, why not have flag waves there on a regular basis and “fly it” yourselves? Do it for ay flag the city rejects or all of them. Jimmy “The Douche” Donchess says no, you say yes, and make sure citizens see it anyway. He can’t refuse you that right, just like he can’t engage in viewpoint discrimination on his big city pole, but he does it anyway, even when the reasoning is lousy.

Significant loss of life and quality of life. Many people of color were harmed. The Pine Tree flag’s history led to independence and, ultimately, the end of slavery at the hands of people who truly believed that black lives mattered.
Donchess’ ideological ancestors disagreed and even protested well into the 20th century. In other words, his excuse is partisan and stupid. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is not shy about who he thinks is to blame for the UN not raising enough revenue. It’s you. His NGO allies, friendly governments, and corporatist allies are all in desperate need of more cash. To get it, more of it, he is comparing you to an earth-killing meteor.

“But we are also the solution,” he added.
“We” needs a good deal of clarification. When Guterres says we, he is not accusing black, brown, or yellow people. There is no racist inference that the issue is a result of second and third-world countries putting record-setting amounts of “emissions” into the atmosphere from the burning of dirty coal. Scrabbling out of poverty without any regard for the sorts of complications alleged by the UN’s Climate Pharisees is not what it hurtles toward earth, presaging its doom. It is white people. Westerners. The places that are burning cleaner, emitting less, and still somehow lifting people out of poverty (though less so since the climate dogma consumed the political liturgy of the day).
When Guterres says ‘We,’ he means Americans (mostly) and not because we’re the biggest emissions threat. That is China. India is close behind. Africa is emitting at a higher rate and as likely as not to catch up to China in part because the Sino-African alignment is the source of so many mining operations to extract the metals the Chinese need to make cheap “green” components to cripple the Wests energy infrastructure.
Parts and technology are manufactured with energy from burning massive amounts of coal. made cheap by low-wage or slave labor, the violations of whose human rights is a convenience the same Pharisees see fit to ignore.
Ignore it like the bulk of earth’s inconvenient climate history.

Since temperature recording started at one of the coldest periods of the past 6,000 to 8,000 years, rising global temperatures are to be expected as part of a natural pattern.
“I agree completely that we have had a global temperature increase in the 20th century,” Steffensen said. “But an increase from what? Probably an increase from the lowest point we’ve had from the last 10,000 years.”
“And this means, that it will be very hard indeed to prove whether the increase of temperature in the 20th century was man-made or it’s a natural variation.”
We had arboreal forests in Greenland long before the invention of the UN or the SUV, but the Climateers deny that science is relevant. And so they must. If they were to agree that their science was not settled, that it had holes, and that the computer models were not accurate or even capable of proper projections, the money train might dry up. And this is all about money. Your money, controlled by them, by any means necessary, and a global climate catastrophe has been the preferred vehicle for decades.
Comparing you to an earth killer isn’t hyperbole to them, but it is ironic. The UN and the globalists are destroying the planet by their pursuit of global socialism through climate policy. More people will be miserable and discontent, and the earth will be in worse shape, absent the Western Democracy that it was with it.
It is the Climateers who are the earth-killing meteor, not you.

NEWS ITEM: Major League Baseball announced on May 29 that it incorporated the statistics of more than 2,300 Negro Leagues players from 1920 to 1948 into its records, which are now available in a newly integrated online database.
“Today’s announcement is the first major step that makes the achievements of the players of the Negro Leagues available to fans via the official historical record,” the MLB said in a statement.
Sometimes, it’s still hard to imagine, even in 2024, that African-American baseball players were banned from Major League Baseball prior to 1947. It was what it was. How and why segregation was what it was can better be examined/explained by historians and sociologists. But baseball was certainly enriched when things finally opened up after Jackie Robinson’s 1947 debut with the Brooklyn Dodgers. His #42 was later retired by every MLB team.
To be sure, blacks played baseball before 1947. And while the old Negro Leagues didn’t have the financial resources that MLB did, the teams were rich in talent. Sadly, the times being what they were, there is a dearth of film records to document the wonderful action involving the Kansas City Monarchs, the Birmingham Black Barons, the Indianapolis Clowns, or the Baltimore Elite Giants, et al.
But while there’s not much in the way of You-Tube videos of Negro League action, there do exist numbers and statistics. And more than any other sport, baseball is about stats. And these numbers are cause for eternal, unresolvable debate. Could Ty Cobb have compiled a lifetime .367 batting average if he played in the 21st Century? Could Barry Bonds have enjoyed a 73-home run season in the dead ball era?
MLB’s inclusion of Negro League stats into its all-time records and statistical database naturally invites discussion.
Serious baseball fans have long considered Ty Cobb’s .367 lifetime batting average as one of MLB’s all-time unassailable records. But now, suddenly, the new record is Josh Gibson’s lifetime .373 average.
Who knew? Probably not many.
Back in the 1930’s Gibson was a star Negro League catcher for the Homestead Grays and the Pittsburgh Crawfords. By some accounts he hit around 800 home runs, but Negro League records credit him with 168. MLB recognizes 174 Gibson dingers. He hit .466 in 1943, easily surpassing the previous single-season modern big-league record of .424, set by Rogers Hornsby in 1924.
Hornsby’s .424 was another one of those supposedly “unassailable” big league records. But Gibson’s .466 in 1943 didn’t even win him a Negro League batting crown. That title went to Tetelo Vargas, who hit .471 that year during WWII. So, .471 is the new .424.
Traditionalists point out that Cobb played 3034 MLB games. Gibson is credited with only 602, which is less than four full MLB seasons’ worth. Cobb stole 897 bases in his 3034 games. Gibson stole 40 bases in his 602 games.
Unfortunately, there are stat gaps in the Negro Leagues’ record books. A full accounting of baseball achievements in those leagues can never be achieved.
And sadly, Gibson passed away at the age of 35 in 1947, four months before Robinson broke the color barrier.
Baseball fans—for whom the record book is a bible with all-time stats being chapter and verse— must suddenly embrace a new holy book with official text replacing old names and numbers with “new” ones. It’s not easy for some. Just as racial integration was sometimes a difficult process in the 20th Century, so too is statistical integration in the 21st Century.
Josh Gibson, Tetelo Vargas, and company are long gone. But the recent incorporation of Negro League numbers into MLB record books helps immortalize many underappreciated and underacknowledged players. Mentioning Gibson and Vargas here keeps their memories alive.

The European Union’s (EU) cabal of meddling ministers has passed a resolution “requiring firms and their upstream and downstream partners, including supply, production and distribution, to prevent, end or mitigate their adverse impact on human rights and the environment.”
“Today’s vote is a milestone for responsible business conduct and a considerable step towards ending the exploitation of people and the planet by cowboy companies. This law is a hard-fought compromise and the result of many years of tough negotiations. I am proud of what we have achieved with our progressive allies. In Parliament’s next mandate, we will fight not only for its swift implementation, but also for making Europe’s economy even more sustainable.”
The goal, at least the intention of these pointy-headed climate zombies, is to use the law to force private businesses to execute their climate doctrine. If you are not a responsible planetary partner, you’ll get fined. Ribbons of shame! But did anyone stop to think how all that supposed-planet-saving stuff meant to replace the irresponsible bits gets made? Most of it comes from China, the world’s leading emitter, polluter, and human rights violator.
If you want wind or solar power, getting it built without Chinese involvement in some portion of the procurement or fabrication process is difficult and expensive. Many rare earth metal mines operate with few or no environmental controls, polluting the people and their “indigenous” lands to a degree that makes them toxic and uninhabitable. You can’t grow healthy crops, and local water supplies are poisoned.
This also applies to the companies with which EU companies do business and to companies outside the EU that do business in the EU.
These firms will have to integrate due diligence into their policies, make related investments, seek contractual assurances from their partners, improve their business plan or provide support to small and medium-sized business partners to ensure they comply with new obligations. Companies will also have to adopt a transition plan to make their business model compatible with the Paris Agreement global warming limit of 1.5°C.
You will do homage to a false god whose world-ending mythology is a lie by admitting to an original sin that isn’t the cause and whose mitigation is not the cure. Failing to do so will result in mandatory tithing and a stern talking-to while making the other goals of the same EU ministers impossible to achieve.
I can only assume that somewhere in the fine print, we will find papal-like dispensations for violations as long as they advance the approved Net-Zero initiatives. Either that or this is just a scheme to bilk every business in the world with a pinky toe of traction among EU nations—more climate money laundering.

There Is no such thing as “morally justifiable” except in the minds of Liberals. If we continue to let the Left enjoy a majority rule, we will continue to see our rights and privileges erode and have no one to blame but the face in the mirror. If you need proof that the electorate is ignorant of reality, you must look to Pennsylvania in 2022 and New Jersey in 2024. The voters elected two representatives for reelection who were dead. Pennsylvania Rep. Tony DeLuca was re-elected in the midterm elections even though he died a month before the election, and Rep. Donald Payne Jr. won his New Jersey primary more than a month after he died.
The reason I am detailing a lack of judgment on the Left is it is these folks who are deciding your rights they should restrict. We already see how they have gone after our cars, implementing unrealistic mandates when we will all be driving EVs regardless of the infrastructure not prepared or the demand in place. These folks are after our gas stoves, air conditioners, hot water heaters, washers/dryers, and dishwashers. The alternatives they recommend are, at best, inefficient and, at worst, use more energy than the item they replace.
The Left is forcing the population from the suburbs back into the city, making it too expensive to commute from a bedroom community to the metropolitan area to work. Their purpose is to make it easier to control the population when they have brought it closer together. They also see the suburbs as public land for solar and wind farms. Rather than addressing our failing existing power grid, they want to turn the countryside into a “Green” power grid. Can you picture the Rocky Mountains or Grand Canyon covered in solar panels and the skyline a massive row of windmills? That is what the Left calls beautiful, but it will not matter as we will not be able to afford to visit our natural wonders, or our travel will be prohibited.
The Greenies have targeted 2030 as the point in time when they will begin to restrict our air travel. Your right to free movement is being curtailed by the Left’s hypothesis that we are killing the planet and that America alone can fix the problem. These are the same people who said the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation and that Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide. Voluntary air travel will no longer exist, and flying will be restricted to only morally justifiable trips. Just as government censorship should never exist, nobody in public service at any level could, or should, determine what is morally justifiable for anyone but themselves.
Our freedoms are derived from God and guaranteed by our Constitution. Unless you are successful in transforming America into a grass-fed socialist country, then you go where you want to, and I will choose where and when to go my way. And another thing: I’ll drive my combustion engine vehicle to the airport.
In closing, what is morally justifiable? Is it aborting a fetus up to the moment of birth? Is it allowing 30 million illegal migrants to enter our country? Is it subjecting our children to transgender counseling and treatment? Is it using your Justice Department to target your political opponents? The Left has many issues to clean up before they can preach the high ground to the world.

Today’s global society is totalitarian. This is not really an opinionated statement, and the better that one understands its actuality, the faster we will be able to emerge from this dark age.
What is totalitarianism? This is a characterization of political, social, economic, and cultural factors that lead to a centralization of power. It is authoritarian in the sense that the powerholders wield authority maximally and violently. It is often akin to tyranny, where leadership exercises power unchecked, with abandon, with great prejudice, and destroys all dissent. What has brought us here?
There are many explanations and realistically this is a situation where the many conditions were ripe for the present power structure to arise.
One of the main causes is the technological dictatorship that is pervasive worldwide. A small handful of companies control massive flows of information. The individuals who own and direct these corporations have permitted their own ideological opinions to sway the direction of society. They are socialists and communists— products of the hard left. These individuals seem intent to project their worldview with such harsh application that they even prevent competition.
Competition itself is incredibly important for markets to work. Without it, the population essentially becomes slaves. Climbing the socioeconomic ladder becomes all but impossible, as kt depends not on merit and skill, but on identity and one’s ability to suck up to powerholders. It is dependent upon ego, rather than entrepreneurial talent.
Ego, itself, is typically the bane of a prosperous, happy society. When the individual ego of the executive— in the case of the state this is the monarch, president or prime minister— is expressed maximally and treated with sycophantic fanaticism, it becomes extremely dangerous for peace and order. If a leader lacks morality, as is the typical case in the USA and many English-speaking countries that have abandoned ethics in practice, the society burns and collapses.
We are seeing this now from the Washington-London-Paris power axis. A total embrace of totalitarianism has gripped the current generation of leadership, and they appear intent on allowing no opposition. Look no further than Mexico, where political opponents ha e been outright killed during the current federal elections. This is the dream of the hard leftist— to engender violence in order to secure power.
Washington, itself, has allowed itself to be consumed by Big Tech, Big Pharma, and Big Defense. These three corporate sectors have fused with the government in a virulent form of fascism. The current federal executive, which took power essentially as a junta, represents this modern fascist state.
Under this regime, citizens are kept under a heavy surveillance blanket. Freedom as a concept has been redefined to include guardrails against any action that might upset the status quo. It is all but impossible for the private citizen to prosper, to establish or grow entrepreneurial business venture, or even to have a family. Dissenting voices have been imprisoned. This is straight tyranny.
Modern US society is divided sharply into the capital holders, who mostly benefit from the technological infrastructure in place, and a vast underclass of workers who are forced under a glass ceiling. Using the power of the surveillance state, the corporatist bureaucracy has squeezed citizens’ savings maximally, while preventing real wage growth by sparking wild inflation.
The inflation itself through monetary debasement has been combined with actual attacks on agricultural and transportation infrastructure. The purpose is twofold— to destroy productive enterprise in order to limit supply, and to generate opportinities for disaster relief.
Simultaneously, the federal executive and its political apparatus has propagandized the population through outright lies and dishonest falsehoods about the state of the country. True information is suppressed in favor of narrative-based news that promotes racial division and foreign war.
Altogether, this amounts to an absolute hell for the ordinary citizen. To consider that some individual has dreamed up this campaign is so farfetched given the absolute evil a group of people must be possessed by in order to want to do this to their own countrymen. The alternative is that there is no definitive leadership, so in the chaos and anarchy of feeble attempts at progress, the end result is total disarray and destruction.
Through it all, there is no clear indication whether foreign influence plays any role. Realistically, given modern techniques in warfare, the level of control that can be exercised through digital internet-based screen-centered technologies combined with other forms of signals intelligence is at a point where individuals, small groups, and large crowds can be manipulated unless they are acutely aware and vigilant.
Awareness and vigilance is totally lacking.
The technocracy has seen to it that individuals rarely communicate information through spoken conversation. Instead, they are encouraged and forced through an array of aspects— a financial system that has been structured to minimally benefit private individual citizens, an infrastructural system that requires total obediance to state authority to utilize, a cultural system that prevents free travel through wealth restriction, a society that encourages blind zealotry favoring the fascists in government and corporations.
Through it all, if the individual citizen attempts to speak and participate in public discourse, one will find there are censorships in place. Individuals do not want to cooperate to build together, instead in favor of chasing fame or fortune on their own. Powerholders have no attention for the individual’s concerns, instead listening to whomever is the wealthiest, because that is a way the politician can gain wealth. Recently in Washington at a congressional hearing on the weaponization of the justice system, a private citizen attempted to speak and participate in discourse. A Democrat Party member on the committee rudely shouted down that civilian by saying, “You cannot speak here.”
What democratic society does not allow private citizens to speak in the federal legislative sessions? This is totally outrageous. The fact that nobody is speaking out about this reality shows clearly how bad the situation is. The citizenry has totally lost perspective on what a democracy is and how democracy is practiced— or even how a civil society functions.
Look at these congressional committees, where a sheepish audience sits perfeclty quiet and says nothing and reacts not at all to highly politicized conversation. There is no outcry when officials say the most ridiculous or outrageous things— even lies and falsehoods are allowed to air with no rebuke.
There must be leadership that can restore the actual practice of democracy, the power of the individual, and the cultivation of local communities.

What if a candidate for statewide office needed to win a majority of counties? Each county is decided by its popular vote, and a majority of counties won in the state determine the victor—a form of Federalism at the state level.
Ties in states with even numbers of counties (NH has ten, for example) would probably go to the candidate with the most total votes statewide, pending other means of muddying up any process with too much clarity.
I like the idea in principle.
The practice would mitigate the effect of densely populated liberal idea ghettoes deciding elections. You can’t just win the counties with a big city in them. You must win enough counties to carry over 50% of the total.
The Texas GOP is thinking that this is a good idea.
Texas Republicans are working diligently to reverse the state’s inglorious slide into blue-state status:
Yay! Sorry. Most of the Democrats who run for elected office hate their state or America and want something less free, so I’m inclined to take an interest in ways that protect individuals and individual rights from collectivists and collectivism.
So?
If a state were to decide to use this system to allot its electoral votes, the political Left would find itself locked out of the presidency indefinitely. In perpetuity, the GOP would also maintain a supermajority in the US Senate and governor’s offices. The lower chambers would continue to be messy and subject to shifts in one direction or the other.
No, I doubt the idea would survive the media carpet bombing or the so-called justice system. But it’s a nifty idea to deal with a problem we discuss often. How do rural majorities protect their rights from electoral discrimination created by densely populated, primarily progressive cities?
If the landowners are not permitted to control the government that rules them simply because they own land, then why do what amounts to renters who own no land have the right to control them and their land? Yes, every legal vote should count, but absent the valve of a Republic, Democracy is nothing more than mob rule, which is why Democrats can’t shut up about it (democracy, I mean).
States like California, New York, Oregon, Washington State, Arizona, and New Mexico – to name but a few) would all turn Red at the state level overnight under such a scheme. No, those states will never vote on putting such a plan into place, but it makes me smile thinking about the left losing its mind anywhere it is tried.
I hope Texas finds a way to pass it and defend it. We don’t need a Blue Texas.
