Why Rank-and-File Democrats (Woke-Communists) Are So Dirty And Grimy

Granite Grok - Tue, 2024-06-18 18:00 +0000

It is the restrictors. The rank-and-file “Democrats” … more accurately, Woke-commie-bots … do not have enough water pressure when they bathe. They believe that grime is a a small price for pay for supposedly saving the polar ice-caps. The ruling class Woke-commies … the George Clooneys, Jimmy Kimmel’s, etc. … get to have full water pressure. That’s how collectivism works … the collective works for the rulers, under the illusion they are working for the Sate, the common good, the blah, blah, blah.

Here is President Trump … as only President Trump can … using humor to skewer the Woke-commies. REMOVE THE RESTRICTORS!

Despotic Facebook is Marking ‘Grok Posts as Spam – Are We That Close to The Election?

Granite Grok - Tue, 2024-06-18 16:00 +0000

Let’s open by thanking the handful of people who have reached out to tell me that Facebook is taking down the Grok posts they share. The Platform marks them as spam and removes them for violating community standards. It is expected, and we know, but we don’t just have to take it.

The Community Standards include an obscure reference to spam links or spam on the destination page. We don’t do spam, but they might be referring to Disqus ads or some other automated advertising, which I feel is only spam when it happens alongside political opinions with which they disagree. One man’s spam is another man’s can of processed meat.

What can I say? Facebook sucks that way.

As a reminder, our “return” to Facebook was always predicated on the knowledge that we were still having our reach suppressed and that it was more an exercise for people who wanted to come to the ‘Grok Facebook Page themselves in search of content—because they happened to be on Facebook. Facebook was never going to be cordial about letting anyone see it in their feeds (and if so, only a few) or share it, and now they’ve proven the latter to be true. I’m not saying don’t share – please share! But you might have to do it differently.

What to do – Not Much We Can Do

Facebook is pulling our content, not just when you share it but directly from the Grok Facebook page. The automated AI, or whatever they are using, is pulling down posts about memes and letters to legislators with no links in them. Is this spam?

So, while we still share content there, we remind people to go directly to GraniteGrok.com and skip the despotic, free-speech-hating middleman. We are suggesting you try that instead. Share a link to the home page, which is less likely to get a takedown than a specific article. Put the article title in your remarks if you think that will get them to where you want them to go sooner.

Maybe add something like “See the Stories Facebook Keeps Taking Down.”

These takedowns will only get worse as the election nears, so we would appreciate you sharing the homepage link instead (often!)…not that Zuckerberger meister Berger’s minions (automated and human) won’t use the spam excuse to pull that post as well.

They will.

We should also remind you that since Facebook only colludes with the government, it can and will remove content for any reason at any time, and that’s their call. The collusion to suppress speech with the government is a problem for the government and the courts, not Facebook or anyone else. Though you’d like to think abetters of partisan political censorship would pay some price in the marketplace for such collusion.

I’m not convinced they will.

Social media fans can find ‘Grok content uncensored on Telegram, Signal, Gab, MeWe, Minds, and X. We also share some content on Locals if you are there.

The Kano Model of Civilization

Granite Grok - Tue, 2024-06-18 14:00 +0000

In the course of my career I’ve taken many classes and seminars.  One such course was an introduction to the subject of quality, wherein we learned about the Kano Model of Quality (header image from the link), among other things.  Not only was it a fascinating concept among the multitude of quality-related topics presented, but it impacted my thinking about customer perception of a product (or service) that really influenced my thinking about what I did.

OVERVIEW

Essentially, there are three levels of quality in any good or service.

First, things that are expected to be present as a default.  Their presence does not increase satisfaction because they are expected as a baseline.  Their absence, however, can decrease satisfaction and sometimes make you downright irritable when they’re not there.  An example:

  • You check into a hotel room. You expect the lights and TV, not to mention the sink, shower, and toilet, to be functional, everything clean, the bed made with new sheets, fresh towels, soaps and shampoo present, and so on.  The presence of these things doesn’t increase your satisfaction – because these are expected as a matter of course.

Second, things whose presence is “the more, the better”:

  • A complimentary breakfast buffet at the hotel that includes basic breakfast stuff. The bigger the selection, and perhaps the longer the hours they’re open, the more pleased you are.

Third, things that you didn’t know you wanted until you see them – called surprise and delight features in automotive-land:

  • One time, having been given a Lincoln Towncar to drive to visit a supplier for a weekend, I was amazed to find twin sun visors. One folded down and was movable as they usually are, but there was a second just-fold-down one once you deployed the first.  This was actually very useful as I was driving on curvy roads towards the sun on that trip and, having two sun visors, I avoided having to shift the visor back and forth as I drove.  Cool!

The idea that there could be such different levels of quality was a new thing to me.  As I said, that course really altered my view.

ANOTHER QUALITY LESSON

People value predictability & stability over the absolute level of quality.  For example, consider the example of McDonalds burgers.  Now MHO is that it’s a pretty crappy burger, but at least it’s consistent.  I can go into a McDonalds in Portland ME, or one in Phoenix AZ, or one local to me or just about anywhere (had a quarter pounder near the Dead Sea several years ago – same thing), and within some margin of variation I know what I’m getting.

Conversely, there are a couple of restaurants I’ve been to repeatedly where the levels of food quality and service vary widely from visit to visit.  I’m reluctant to go to them, certainly not to bring friends or guests – not because I haven’t had great food there, but because I don’t know what will happen each time I go in the door.  And while I’d not invite someone to a meal at Mcdonald’s, I’ll deliberately choose a place where I know what I’m getting, even if the absolute level of quality/service is less than I’ve had at other, sometimes better, but definitely more variable, places.

Again, people crave stability and predictability far more than they value the actual level of quality.

AS APPLIED TO SOCIETY

(Based on Surak’s comment, I’ve removed the Kissinger meme.)

I’d been mulling this over for quite some time, and this article on American Thinker, TIA: This Is Africa? No, This Is America – American Thinker, promoted my thought process.  A similar experience happened to me in Saint Petersburg, Russia, where one morning, there was no hot water for a shower.  Later that day, we saw a sign on the front door saying that the boiler was out and might – might – be up and running the next day.  Turns out it was the day after that when it was finally working again.  My then-fiancée and now-wife shrugged it off, saying This is Russia.

So consider this video from London:

https://granitegrok.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/a-normal-day-in-london.mp4

In most modern cities, at least until recently, in most areas of said cities, it’s been a reasonable assumption that such a thing wouldn’t occur.  But we now see, in many cities in both America and Europe – formerly safe and predictable locations – massive crime waves.  We see smash-and-grab robberies filmed by people as they watch criminals walk in, load up on the store’s stock, and then waltz out.  In many instances, security does nothing; indeed, very often, security cannot do anything.

San Francisco Hardware Store Requires Customers Shop With Escort to Curb Shoplifting (legalinsurrection.com)

A recent report on theft of fire hydrants in LA for the scrap metal value:

302 fire hydrants have been stolen from LA streets since 2023 | The Post Millennial | thepostmillennial.com

Example after example after example is splashed on the internet daily – of crimes in places that used to be a low crime, people now being punched in the face randomly, break-ins in places that used not to have them… the list is legion of a clear and visible corrosion of the fabric and morality of our society.  Knife attacks.  Mob attacks.  This would have been unthinkable and astonishing even a decade ago in most areas:

As would seeing this (San Jose, CA, date unknown):

https://granitegrok.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/police-car-attacked-in-san-jose.mp4

THE EXPECTED

I have told my kids, repeatedly, to be grateful for what we have:

  • A home
  • Electricity, running water, sanitation, heat and AC
  • Food in the fridge
  • A quiet neighborhood
  • Medical care available 24-7
  • Nobody shooting at us or attempting to stab us when we go out
  • At least a semblance of the Rule of Law
  • Et cetera

With little thought to what it took for us to get to having the above.

CHAOS – LEADS TO STRONGMEN

So what happens when that baseline of civilizational expectations crumbles?

Tucker Carlson Admits What Politician Truly Scares Him

It will be easy, with a chaotic environment, for someone to come along promising order… and the “benevolent hand” of Socialism.  Promising order and stability, at the price of freedom and a chance at increasing prosperity.  After months if not years of utter chaos and desperation, how many will willingly make that trade?

My bet?  A whole lot of people will.

CHAOS AND UNCERTAINTY

And destabilization, chaos, and desperation is what they want.  Fertile loam with which to implement Socialistopia.

Understand that all of what’s coming – whether economic collapse, banking crises, food shortages, WW3, Jabpocalypse, high crime, etc., are being deliberately engineered to create that chaotic and desperation-laden loam.  Your life, your family’s lives, and even your country’s survival do not factor into their pursuit of a one-world Socialist paradise on Earth.

Plan accordingly.

And boy, did I nail the prediction or what:

NH House Attendance Finale: 50 “Perfect” Republicans and The Whole House (6 of The Top Ten Worst Were Dems)

Granite Grok - Tue, 2024-06-18 12:00 +0000

With the final day of the session past us, it is time to reminisce (cue misty dream sequence) about the past few months. We’ve been sharing – to the dismay of some – a weekly list of Republicans who missed roll call votes (and how many). Today, we have two lists. The Republicans voted in every roll call and then the full house.

Democrats, Independents, and Republicans are sorted by the total number of roll call votes missed from worst to best. We do not have a list of Dems who never missed a Roll Call. Some smarmy Dem site can do that work.

This does not mean the perfect Republicans didn’t miss votes (these are just Roll Calls), and as we’ve noted repeatedly, Reps in a civilian legislature are likely to miss some votes. People work, they get sick, crap comes up – life happens. Our purpose is not so much to shame but to remind you that when you have a razor-thin majority, you are going to lose good bills and fail to stop bad ones and showing up matters.

A greater majority helps and there are reps on the list who missed so many votes that it’s not a stretch to place some blame at their feet. Anyone in triple digits probably needs to be replaced (primaried), but since registering to run closed last Friday, that’ll be difficult. Write-ins can work in rare instances, but it’s a lot of work.

In our defense, the poor attendance folks have been poor for months, so we all knew who they were weeks ago.

The Lists

We have two lists. First, the “perfect” Republicans. These Reps are not perfect, but they did vote in every roll call, which—I will remind you—isn’t always a good thing. There are at least a few Republicans who vote the Democrat line too often and some on key bills, and that presence is not favorable to individual liberty or human freedom in those cases. You can look at their voting records when in doubt.

So, here we go.

Here are the kids who never miss class, with our own Judy Aron at the top (it’s alphabetical). And remember, if you get to totals of 20 or less for the year, that’s probably only one full session day or part of it.

We appreciate you being in a position to be there every time, but not everyone can, and that’s not a dig. But (again), as noted above, some people have a very hard time getting to Concord on Session Day, and they are not all Republicans. Here is the master list for missed roll call votes, both parties, sorted by votes missed (including two independents who are not very dependable).

Joe Has Made El Salvador The Safest In Hemisphere

Granite Grok - Tue, 2024-06-18 10:00 +0000

El Salvadore has a massive prison system with the latest facility, CECOT, which is called a Super Jail, opened in 2023. The Terrorism Confinement Center currently holds 12,000 of the worst criminals and gang members in El Salvadore. The current President of El Salvadore, Nayib Bukele, is one of the most popular heads of state in the world and has earned that popularity by making good on his promise to curb gang control and violence. He has had help in his efforts from an unlikely source.

Some American Democrats, specifically Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, have been critical of the prison system in El Salvadore and have urged Bukele to ease the confinement and treatment of the incarcerated gang members. Of course, our feckless President and his sidekick never considered the consequences of their suggestions. Some of the released inmates traveled north to escape the potential of returning to CECOT and have made their way across our border and are now wreaking havoc on American soil.

The Biden administration claims that every illegal migrant is vetted before release into America, but we know that is a lie. Just last week there were eight illegals apprehended in the states that were on the terrorist watch list and members of ISIS. Who is doing the vetting? Maybe Kamala, herself. The news Saturday was clear evidence of the danger everyone of us is in, thanks to Joe Biden.

A fugitive wanted in El Salvador in the killing of a young woman was arrested in the murder last year of a Maryland hiker, authorities said Saturday. The suspect, Victor Antonio Martinez-Hernandez, 23, was arrested in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at about 11:30 p.m. Friday, Harford County, Maryland, Sheriff Jeff Gahler said at a news conference.

Rachel Morin’s body was discovered at Ma and Pa Trail in Bel Air, Maryland, on Aug. 6, 2023, the day after her boyfriend reported her missing, authorities said. The sheriff previously indicated she may have been raped and murdered in the hour or two before sunset on Aug. 5.

DNA found at the Morin scene was linked to a home invasion in LA in early 2023 and eventually led authorities to the suspect’s family in El Salvadore. The suspect’s travel and criminal history in America shows how easily these illegals can traverse this country, putting us all at risk. This crisis is not a border issue, as we are all border states in the new Biden America.

The President has not commented about this case as he was in Italy giving our money the Ukraine in a new 10-year agreement. Then he cut his visit to Italy to attend a campaign fund raising event with George Clooney and Julia Roberts in Los Angeles. Maybe when Joe is done counting the $25 million raised, he will tell the Morin children how sorry he is that he has damaged our country and destroyed their family. It will ring hollow, and he will probably forget their name. Five children lost their Mom thanks to Joe Biden’s failed policy. What family will be next?

Boost Your Real Estate Management Efficiency in NYC

Granite Grok - Tue, 2024-06-18 09:00 +0000

Effective management of residential and mixed-use real estate in New York presents unique challenges and opportunities. As the urban landscape evolves, property managers must navigate a complex array of responsibilities to maintain and enhance property value.

This article delves into the key components and best practices for efficient real estate management, focusing on the dynamic market of New York.

Definition of Residential and Mixed-Use Real Estate in New York

Residential and mixed-use real estate properties are integral to New York’s urban fabric. Residential properties are solely dedicated to living spaces, while mixed-use properties combine residential, commercial, and sometimes industrial spaces within a single development. This blend creates vibrant communities but also adds layers of complexity to property management.

What Constitutes Mixed-Use Real Estate?

Mixed-use developments typically include:

  • Residential Units: Apartments, condos, or single-family homes.
  • Commercial Spaces: Retail stores, offices, and restaurants.
  • Amenities: Gyms, parks, and recreational areas.
  • Public Spaces: Areas accessible to the community, like plazas or public transportation hubs.
Benefits of Mixed-Use Properties
  • Community Building: Mixed-use properties foster a sense of community by integrating various spaces that cater to daily needs.
  • Economic Growth: These developments contribute to economic activity by supporting local businesses.
  • Convenience: Residents benefit from having amenities and services within walking distance.
Key Components of Effective Mixed-Use Property Management

Managing mixed-use properties effectively requires a holistic approach that balances the needs of residential and commercial tenants. Key components include:

Comprehensive Financial Management

Financial oversight is crucial in ensuring profitability and sustainability. This involves:

  • Budget Preparation and Implementation: Detailed budgeting helps forecast expenses and revenue, ensuring financial stability.
  • Fee Collections: Efficiently collecting rents and other fees to maintain cash flow.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensuring all financial practices adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
Property Maintenance and Supervision

Maintaining the property’s physical condition is vital for tenant satisfaction and property value. This includes:

  • Regular Inspections: Conducting weekly site visits to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
  • Contractor Oversight: Managing relationships with contractors and vendors to ensure quality work and cost-efficiency.
  • Compliance with Building Codes: Ensuring the property meets all safety and regulatory standards.
Effective Leasing Strategies

Leasing strategies must cater to both residential and commercial tenants, involving:

  • Marketing: Utilizing targeted marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants.
  • Lease Negotiations: Crafting lease agreements that are fair and beneficial to both parties.
  • Tenant Screening: Implementing thorough screening processes to ensure reliable tenants.
Resident and Tenant Relations

Building positive relationships with tenants is essential for a harmonious living and working environment. This involves:

  • Communication: Maintaining open and transparent communication channels.
  • Complaint Resolution: Addressing resident complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Community Engagement: Organizing events and activities to foster a sense of community.
Problems with Maintenance, Leasing, Financial Planning, etc.

Managing mixed-use properties comes with its set of challenges. Identifying and addressing these issues is crucial for efficient property management.

Maintenance Challenges
  • Diverse Needs: Balancing the maintenance needs of both residential and commercial spaces.
  • Resource Allocation: Ensuring that maintenance resources are adequately distributed.
Leasing Issues
  • High Turnover: Managing tenant turnover, which can be higher in mixed-use properties.
  • Market Fluctuations: Adapting to changes in the real estate market that affect leasing terms and rates.
Financial Planning Complications
  • Budgeting: Creating accurate budgets that reflect the unique demands of mixed-use properties.
  • Revenue Management: Balancing income from different sources and ensuring steady cash flow.

By addressing these challenges with strategic planning and comprehensive management practices, property managers can significantly improve the efficiency and profitability of residential and mixed-use real estate in New York.

4 Signs That Your Gutter Needs Repair

Granite Grok - Tue, 2024-06-18 08:00 +0000

Regular maintenance and timely repairs are crucial to ensuring your gutters function effectively, protecting  foundation, walls, and roof of your home from water damage. However, they can develop issues over time that necessitate repair.

1. Watch out for leaks from the gutter, especially from gutter seam or joints. Your gutter could get damaged from falling branches, ladders, or tools, or rust over time. Also, either temperature fluctuations can cause gutters to expand and contract, leading to joint separation, or the sealant used in joints can simply deteriorate over time. Specialists check the gutter for signs of rust or damage and do the necessary renovation. If needed, they can  install seamless gutters or apply new sealant to separated joints, depending on the situation.

2. If the water spills over during moderate rainfall or it pools in sections of gutters, it might be the sign of an improper gutter slope, either from incorrect gutter installation or because of house settling over time. It is fixable: call a professional https://happywindowcleaners.ca/services/gutter-repair/ to ensure proper installation, and ask them to adjust the hangers and brackets to create the proper slope.

3. Sagged gutters or water spilling over the sides of the gutters during rain can signalize about gutter clogging. With lack of maintenance the debris, such as leaves, twigs and dirt can accumulate in gutters, obstructing water flow. Cleaning the gutter regularly usually resolves the problem, and gutter guards installation helps to accumulate less debris.

4. Check out downspouts regularly, as they can become detached, bent or crushed. Also, if water pools around the foundation, it can also be a sign of damaged downspouts. Usually the cause of damage is impact or severe weather, but you should also look for debris which causes water backup. If the downspouts are indeed damaged, secure loose downspouts and replace damaged sections.

These are the common issues that can be addressed through regular inspections, cleaning, and using high-quality materials and professional installation services. Taking proactive steps can extend the life of your gutter system and maintain the integrity of your home’s structure.

Night Cap: Alissandra Murray Celebrates Child Abuse

Granite Grok - Tue, 2024-06-18 02:00 +0000

A woke-judge in Florida invoked the Left’s woke-constitution to strike down a law protecting children from “gender-affirming” surgery. Not surprisingly, Woke-Communist Alissandra Murray celebrated (see retweet) below. The celebration will be short-lived because, as Governor DeSantis explains, the 11th Cir sit Court of Appeals has already upheld a virtually identical law.

Climate Depressions, Tropical and Otherwise [Updated]

Granite Grok - Tue, 2024-06-18 00:00 +0000

While Climate Cultists pray for devastation – as if it will justify their faith in an irrefutable hypothesis – the lack of tropical depressions has been superseded by other bad news for climateers. New Zealand, for example, will no longer tax cow farts to save the planet.

WELLINGTON, June 11 (Reuters) – New Zealand on Tuesday ended a plan to put a price on agricultural emissions including methane produced by belching sheep and cattle, relenting to farmer pressure that the plan would make their business unprofitable.

The conservative government said in a statement it would establish a Pastoral Sector Group with representatives from the agricultural sector to find other ways to reduce biogenic methane.

The urge to get excited about a reversal of cultish devotion should be quelled. New Zealand is still in thrall and raptured to the agenda. But the less liberal government (it’s far from conservative) promised farmers it would backtrack agricultural emissions policy to get elected. It got elected and kept the promise but is still committed (sadly not to a mental institution) to the goal of reducing emissions in pursuit of an economy and lifestyle-destroying lie.

In other news, we’ve had a few reports about private interests propping up news desks that advance the Climate Cult dogma. The depth of this paid activist peddled as news is staggering.

Over the last 20 years the tax-efficient billionaire foundations have stepped into the funding gaps left by declining circulation and advertising sales across mainstream media. It is noted by the EJN that journalists “overwhelmingly agreed” that support from external funding organisations was “essential” to enabling their climate and environmental reporting. Any journalist can apply to be a member of the EJN, and the “primary benefit” is said to be access to grant funding for stories and “training opportunities.” The operation claims over 25,000 members in 200 countries.

The list of EJN funders is a long one and includes many well-known supporters of climate fear-mongering work. Included is the European Climate Foundation, heavily supported by Michael Bloomberg and Extinction Rebellion paymaster Sir Christopher Hohn. Other supporters include Tides, Gulbenkian, Oak, Packard, Climate Justice Resilience, MacArthur and Rockefeller. Helping out with taxpayer money are political and government organisations including the United Nations and the British Foreign Office.

Climate Journalism is fully funded by interested billionaire activists who control messaging and use their billions to leverage narratives and priorities. It’s not new, but the scope of it might set off some alarms. Here’s their report.

Finally, tropical depressions. We are three weeks into Hurricane season, and we have seen two tropical depressions. One wandered off into the Atlantic, and the other could reach tropical storm/cyclone status in the next 48 hours (60+ percent chance).

Whether it gets there or not, predictions show lots of rain headed to NE Mexico and the Teas Gulf coast.

NOAA potential rainfall amount from Tropical Storm One (TC1)

That’s 8-12 inches. Nothing compared to what South Florida got recently, but we’ll see how this develops over the next few days.

Update: We have a new projected storm track that takes TS1 into Mexico and not the Continental US.

Who is Elenore Casey Crane?

Granite Grok - Mon, 2024-06-17 22:00 +0000

Now that filing time is over, it appears that Lily Tang Williams has 12 opponents in the September 10 primary for Annie Kuster’s seat.

Most of them are unknowns and it’s my opinion that the only serious threat is Vikram.  Unlike the executive council seat being vacated by Ted Gatsas, I’m not going to waste energy attacking all of them individually, but there are two exceptions.  Vikram certainly deserves an article on why to not vote for him, but I hope to see one written by someone with skills superior to mine.  The other happens to be a late arrival that’s not only a Nashua local, but she lives in Ward 2.

“Who is Elenore Casey Crane?”

That’s the question and I’m here to answer that.  Adam Sexton has introduced her as a former rep, but makes no mention of how long the Newmans, along with one or more of their ilk, have had a stranglehold on Ward 2 over the past several election cycles.  I’m going to surmise that Elenore Casey Crane(ECC) is one of the vestiges of the Tea Party Movement from long ago.  While her dates of rep time in office is unconfirmed at this time, it appears that she was the 2013 opponent of our mutual Alderman, Richard Dowd.

Alderman Dowd did not have an opponent in 2015 or 2017, according to the records I viewed, and had viable opponents in 2019 and 2021, as I noted here.

What was ECC doing all that time?  Supposedly working some gig for Councilor Kenney, who represents the parts of NH furthest from Nashua, but to that I say, “yeah, whatever.”  She certainly was not a rep candidate in the past 2 elections because I was recruited to fall on that sword in 2020 and came back for a 2nd helping in 2022 just to be a good “team player” and fill the hole in the slate.  More on being a team player in a moment.  I filed my own candidacy against Alderman Dowd on the last day of filing time last year because neither of his previous two opponents nor ECC wanted to step up and do it.  To the previous opponents, I say “fair enough,” as they both had a full plate of responsibilities, both public and private.  ECC was certainly free to decide whether or not to run for office just like anyone else, but waffling until the last minute is not being a team player.  “But wait, there’s more,” one often hears in those late night infomercials.

The night before the last day of filing time was the NRCC monthly meeting and no higher office candidates had RSVPed to stump.  ECC waltzed into the ballroom, quite late I should add, with an “I have arrived” attitude.  Former Rep Pete Silva, the NRCC chair, was gracious enough to give her a few minutes of mic time at the end and the stump speech was very lackluster.  She implemented some name dropping that included Councilor Kenney and former Ward 1 Rep Tom Lanzara and then went into full blown attack mode without even saying “Lily Tang Williams” or “Colorado.”  ECC found it necessary to cite the length of residency required to be eligible for a senate run, but most voters who show up for a NH primary already know that 2024 is one of every 6 years without a senatorial race in Washington.  She also didn’t mention how active Lily has been over the past 2 years since her primary loss to Burns.  She’s been fundraising

Donate

and building recognition by way of opportunities that are not exclusively political.  You, the reader and the voter, have opportunities to ask her about that at her next meet and greet in nearby Hollis on Monday June 17, which is open to the public.

I will finish by going back to the team player thing.  While I’ll be clear that I was in no way entitled to ECC’s support as a candidate for alderman or as a two time rep candidate, I find it interesting that she never even reached out to me or even greeted me at the polls.  Maybe she secretly supports Alderman Dowd and the Newmans.  Hopefully not.  Whether or not you, the reader, vote in Ward 2, I’m here to say that ECC is trying to siphon votes off of Lily when the one she should be attacking in the primary race is Vikram.

Terry Roy … It’s Not 1980, And You Are No Ronald Reagan (Useful Idiot – Part 3)

Granite Grok - Mon, 2024-06-17 20:00 +0000

So, Terry Roy has responded, on his X, to “Useful Idiot” and “Useful Idiot” Continued … Terry Roy Endorses Alissandra Murray. Roy’s response is, in a word, incoherent. He claims that I am a Free-Stater/Libertarian, which is both funny and sad, as it reveals the extent of Roy’s ignorance.

Roy also compares the relationship between himself and his “friend” Alissandra Murray to Ronald Reagan and Tip O’Neil. Grandiosity much? What he does NOT do is walk back in the slightest his ENDORSEMENT of Woke-Communist Alissandra Murray.

Here is Roy’s response. After which, I will have a few things to say.

First of all, note the Stockholm-syndrome. Roy has adopted the language of the Left. Alissandra Murray and her ilk are “progressives” … the adjective they choose to describe themselves. People who believe that they can turn men into women and women into men, that they can control the weather, that people with white-skin carry an “oppressor” gene are religious-fanatics, extremists, lunatics, etc.. Yet Roy chooses to call these people “progressives.” Stockholm-syndrome.

Note also how Roy uses the language of the Left to attack Republicans. Anyone not marching in goose-step with Roy is an “anarchist libertarian” or a free-stater. Stockholm-syndrome.

And note how Roy calls disagreeing with him “hate,” just like “his friend” Alissandra Murray does. Expecting Roy to not serve as a campaign prop for Murray, expecting him to endorse and help elect Republicans rather than endorsing Murray is demanding that he “hate” Murray. Stockholm-syndrome.

But perhaps what is most notable about Roy’s response is that he does NOT walk back in the slightest his endorsement of Alissandra Murray. These are HIS words. Not my words; his words. A full-throated endorsement of Murray:

IF I’M LUCKY EOUGH TO BE CHAIR AGAIN AND HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY ABOUT IT, YOU & REPRESENTATIVE WHEELER WILL BE RIGHT BACK ON THIS COMMITTEE …

A few more observations.

It is 2024, not 1980. The world is different. America is different. And the Democrat Party of 2024 bears no resemblance to the Democrat Party of Tip O’Neill. Tip O’Neill, Democrat Speaker of the House when Reagan was elected, was not a Woke-Communist. Tip O’Neill would not be welcome in today’s Democrat Party. For Roy to equate Alissandra Murray and today’s Woke-Communists with Tip is as complete a rewrite of history as the 1619-project that the Woke-Communists want taught in schools.

You cannot be simultaneously against “gender-affirming” medical care … that lovely euphemism for child-mutilation … and for the reelection of Alissandra Murray and other Woke-Communists who support that “gender-affirming” medical care. The same is true for all of the other issues that divide us. Yet Roy seeks to have it both ways.

Finally, the term “useful idiot” refers to someone who is useful to the Left. This, like so much else, seems beyond Roy’s grasp. Ronald Reagan was NOT a useful idiot. Terry Roy is no Ronald Reagan.

Citizen Wanted to Commemorate The Battle of Bunker Hill – The City Raised a Pride Flag Instead

Granite Grok - Mon, 2024-06-17 18:00 +0000

Today is the 249th anniversary of the Battle of Bunker Hill. It is a good day to raise a flag suited to the anniversary. One local resident and a contributor to these pages applied to have her city fly the Pine Tree Flag on this date, but it both refused the application and an appeal. They chose to fly a Pride Flag Instead.

On the 249th anniversary of the Battle of Bunker Hill the City of Nashua raised the Progress flag instead of the Pine Tree Flag.

Beth Scaer tried for weeks to get the city to approve her application, a story we covered here and here (and here). The liberal city and its radically left-wing mayor repeatedly refused despite the potential risk of a lawsuit for viewpoint discrimination.

Pine Tree Flag – Appeal to Heaven But Wait, There’s More!

Not long after not raising the Pine Tree Flag, I got this message from Beth. “Also, the City removed the flag for the State of New Hampshire and replaced it with the Progress flag.”

Progress, indeed. Perhaps we can sell Nashua to Massachusetts. It can still be the Gate City, but it will be a gateway to the nuttiness of modern-day Massachusetts, which would have the Founder rebelling the moment they learned of its decline from liberty, not to mention all those taxes.

Nice work, Mayor Donchess. You not only refused to fly a piece of American history but to demonstrate why that is unconstitutional.

Maybe, with any luck, someone will take you to the cleaners, sorry – I mean court. The sad part, of course, is that you don’t care how much that will cost the city’s taxpayers, but it cost the equally discriminatory and stubborn city of Boston 2.1 million dollars to lose a similar case against another frequent contributor to these pages, Camp Constituion’s Hal Shurtleff.

MONDAY MEMES

Granite Grok - Mon, 2024-06-17 16:00 +0000

And it’s Monday again.

Last week’s Friday Edition.

Remember, ridicule and mockery are effective weapons:

  1. Ridicule cannot easily be fought
  2. Ridicule makes the enemy angry, and angry people make mistakes
  3. For those in the “squishy middle” a Thought Splinter (and Part II and Part III and Part IV) can often be hidden inside humor.

Now, let the mockery and mayhem begin.

*** Warning, a few possibly off-color ones, in case tender eyes are about ***

Reagan said it best:

>>>>>=====<<<<<

Just how brown is this guy’s nose?

Quality if not just a problem with humans at Boeing:

Counterfeit Chinese Titanium Discovered In Some Boeing Jets, Per FAA | The Gateway Pundit | by Anthony Scott

The earth is an incredibly complex system, with cycles within cycles within cycles, feedback loops within feedback loops within feedback loops, connecting with other cycles and feedback loops.  It defies even a cursory thought to think that all this boils down to one trace gas.

Violence is the gold standard, the reserve that guarantees order. In actuality, it is better than a gold standard, because violence has universal value. Violence transcends the quirks of philosophy, religion, technology, and culture. () It’s time to quit worrying and learn to love the battle axe. History teaches us that if we don’t, someone else will.

Jack Donovan

What’s that quote:

As I wrote here, I’m not advocating violence.  But it has to be on the table.  And kind of related, in a humorous way:

If people could see my thoughts in my occasional unguarded internal musings, they’d back away slowly while looking for some kind of weapon.

When you’re losing the New York Times-Traitor… MHO, he’ll get “retired” on a gurney soon.  Far simpler than a convention replacement, or a 25th Amendment removal.  And it plays to the sympathy vote.  Doubtless all the enemedia would be MOVE ON, bad-man Biden is gone, so your impetus to vote for Trump is gone too.

Bought and paid for.  I’m having betrayal trauma (psychology video, 11 minutes) at just how deep the corruption of, well, every system is.

We are, I think, approaching a “singularity moment” when, given advances in computing power, AI, and deep fake technology, etc., we cannot trust anything we see unless we are there in person, or the event was viewed by someone whose word we trust.

On the front page of a mainstream Australian newspaper this weekend. “First came the pain in her feet. In the days after her Covid vaccination, Sydney student Amy Sedgwick thought the discomfort in the arches of her feet warranted a trip to the podiatrist.“ “That pain soon turned to mild numbness that significantly worsened after Amy’s second Pfizer shot four weeks later. Now she had aching arms and legs, and was losing feeling in her lower limbs. Six days on, the numbness was making it difficult for Amy to stand and walk. Soon she would have to be hoisted from her bed to a wheelchair. Her vision deteriorated, her hands went numb. She was twice admitted to hospital and spent two months in a rehabilitation centre. Within nine months, she was dead.”

Remember, this is a one-way flow.  Covidian believers can become doubters, and are shifting slowly.  Virtually nobody among the skeptics has a reverse movement of view to become a Jab enthusiast.  From my friend

The Ninth Circuit court (most liberal Federal court in the country) has just ruled the mRNA “vaccines” and NOT, if fact actually vaccines at all.  This will have MAJOR legal ramifications, as people can now sue Pfizer, Moderna, employers who forced the jab (to keep your job), etc.   Of course many of those who took “The Jab” will be dead in a couple years, but maybe their heirs will get something.

Trump Has Them Smelling Victory

Granite Grok - Mon, 2024-06-17 14:00 +0000

Trump hit his stride on Thursday when he visited the Capitol. It was a different Donald Trump than the one we have seen daily for the last few weeks as he enters or leaves a New York courthouse. That Donald is mean and angry with a singular message that he is a victim of a corrupt Justice Department that is confining him to court or gagging him when he should be out campaigning. It was a message that was getting old and started to have a Groundhog Day feel. The Donald we saw on Thursday was refreshing and gave every Republican the boost we longed for.

Trump went to Washington to meet with Republicans on the hill to state his case for why he is the man to fix the mess left by Joe Biden. Trump already had his core supporters onboard, but he had some fences to mend and some people to get on the Trump Train if this campaign was to be a total team effort. Trump had not spoken to Mitch McConnell in nearly four years, and both men said their meeting was cordial and Mitch was ready to back the former President. Trump also attracted Mitt Romney to the meeting with Republican Senators. Romney is on his way out of Washington, but Trump getting Mitt to play along was a coup and essential to the cause.

Trump held two sessions-one for the House and the other for the Senate. They were closed meetings, but some of the Representatives who attended the House event raved about the tone and content of Trump’s presentation. They were amazed that he spoke for two hours without a teleprompter and then took questions. All were random and unscripted. He laid out his vision for fixing the crisis at the southern border, attacking the inflation problem, regaining our energy independence, and bringing safety back to the country. He also talked about getting us back to superpower status on the world stage and ending the two senseless wars that have started under Biden’s watch. He even singled out Marjorie Taylor Green and told her to be nice to Speaker Johnson. I am sure she got the message that it is time to join the team and knock off the divisive stuff she is known for.

There were similar reviews after the Senate session, and it was all smiles and unity as Trump and a group of the Senators addressed the media after the meeting. Thursday was a great day for Republicans and much needed for their supporters. It is imperative that we regain the White House and both sides of Congress if we are to get America back on track after a disastrous Biden Presidency, and it will take an all-for-one effort from everyone on the Right to pull it off. Trump was very Presidential on Thursday and exhibited the leadership we have all been waiting for. He was positive, upbeat, and decisive as he drew a stark contrast between him and Biden. He did not talk about the trials but stayed on point. It was an important day as we approach the first debate in three weeks and the convention.

This is the Donald Trump we need now. We don’t need the petty rhetoric, but we do need to drive home the fact that every one of us, except the Bidens, was better off with Donald Trump in the White House. Some important events are coming up that will tell us whether our hopes are justified for a November win. The Debates (should Biden actually participate), the VP announcement, and the convention. Trump is on a roll, but can he sustain it until Election Day? I think we are seeing the beginning of a significant change in direction for America, and the next five months should be extremely exciting. Hold on for a helluva ride.

Excessive Heat Warning Alert … But It Was Mild and Pleasant

Granite Grok - Mon, 2024-06-17 12:00 +0000

The weather app on my phone is as reliable as any other weather reporting app, including the people on the news. There have been lots of near misses and too many not right at all, but now it is propagandizing me. Last week was mild, pleasant, great sleeping weather, but throughout the week, the App was waving” a high heat warning in my face.

It’s 73 and sunny, with mid-50s in the evenings, but it’ll be boiling next week! In other words, forget all this temperate enjoyable niceness—DOOM Awaits!

I was looking for a disclaimer saying Carrier or Walmart sponsored it: Click to get a great price on AC, and there is free delivery for orders over $$$. Wait, how about, “This high heat weather alert is sponsored by … Pfizer!” Click to get great deals on cures!

Nope.

It is supposed to get hot for several days, but do I need a week’s worth of red thermometer warnings? To me, this seems both excessive and deliberate (I added the red lines below).

That’s good to know. And I know it gets hotter elsewhere, and these temps might look like a mild day (Yeah, man, but it’s a dry heat), so you don’t need to bombard me with proof. I get it. And it’s been hotter here for longer, way back when CO2 wasn’t the bitcoin of climate change. Let’s do some climate Cult mining! Alarmisim equals payday! Ka-Ching!

I’ll have to walk the dog early in the morning, and best of luck sleeping on warm nights, though 75 isn’t the worst thing that could have happened. And—this is important—the App has been running hot lately. In successive weeks, the predicted temps have declined as the week has progressed. Predicted mid-80s turn into the low 80s, and so on. It’s got me thinking the thing is using the IPCC’s climate models, and those dogs don’t hunt.

Dopey American College Kids Encourage Slave Labor to Protest Oppression

Granite Grok - Mon, 2024-06-17 10:00 +0000

Given all of the delusional college kids (and the professional instigators training and participating with them) protesting for the Nazi-like Hamas fighters that wantonly murdered innocents on Israeli soil, there has to be tens, if not hundreds of thousands of these keffiyeh.

It’s part of their uniform, dontcha know (emphasis mine)? And guess what? “Uighur Slaves Struggling to Keep Up with Demand for Palestinian Headscarves.”

The Babylon Bee, “the newspaper of record” for anyone with a sense of humor, posed a more interesting thought about the campus demonstrations than anything you can find in the New York Times or Washington Post. The Bee’s headline proclaimed, “Uighur Slaves Struggling to Keep Up with Demand for Palestinian Headscarves.

Dark humor, indeed. The headscarves, like the masks, serve one obvious function: they hide the faces of demonstrators. That’s why bank robbers wear masks, too. Students know they are breaking the rules, and professional agitators know they are breaking the law, so it’s smart to hide their faces.

But the scarves have one additional advantage that bank robbers’ masks don’t: the keffiyeh is a visible symbol of Palestinian identity. “Pardon me,” they say, “my virtue is showing.”

The Babylon Bee also picked up another interesting point the legacy media missed. The keffiyehs worn on campus today come from China, like so much clothing. Ah, globalization. Palestinians used to produce the scarves themselves, but cheaper Chinese production squeezed them out of the market. The protesters’ attire is a hidden mark of the international trade they loathe.

The symbol of their resistance to “enslaving the Palestinians” was made with slave labor by oppressed people the Chinese government can kill at will, so using the word “genocide” (even as the Gazan population had quickly risen) is a ludicrous claim as it seems that Hamas is the one doing the oppressing (of its Gazan civilians who are fully behind Hamas).

And, of COURSE, in this era of Identity politics, the “protesters” must appear to be part of the Oppressed, so the keffiyehs are unloaded by the box full. And we are back to the Chinese Muslim Uighur slaves again.

But neither the MSM, the pro-Palestinians themselves, the clueless “helpful idiots,” and the low-intelligence college students that know how to yell but haven’t the foggiest what they are protesting other than as a means to quell their boredom and be part of the “cool kids clique.”

The Uighers continue to sit at their sewing machines, working within the capitalistic system Winnie-the-Zi allows for selling rope to the West.

Navigating the Crypto Marketing Landscape: Strategies for Success

Granite Grok - Mon, 2024-06-17 09:00 +0000

In the ever-evolving world of cryptocurrency, effective marketing has become an indispensable tool for projects and businesses seeking to establish a strong presence and engage with their target audience. The crypto space is highly competitive, and standing out from the crowd requires a strategic and innovative approach to marketing. Whether you’re launching a new cryptocurrency, building a decentralized application (DApp), or promoting a blockchain-based service, leveraging the right crypto marketing services can make all the difference.

Understanding the Crypto Audience

Before delving into specific marketing strategies, it’s crucial to understand the unique characteristics of the crypto audience. Unlike traditional markets, the cryptocurrency community is highly tech-savvy, skeptical of centralized authority, and values transparency and decentralization. Effective marketing in this space requires a deep understanding of the community’s values, concerns, and preferences.

Community Building and Engagement

One of the most powerful marketing strategies in the crypto realm is community building and engagement. Cryptocurrencies and blockchain projects thrive on the strength of their communities, which serve as advocates, early adopters, and ambassadors. Successful crypto marketing services often focus on fostering a vibrant and engaged community through various channels, such as social media platforms, forums, and online discussions.

Social Media and Influencer Marketing

Social media has become a powerful tool for crypto marketing, enabling projects to reach a global audience and engage with potential users and investors. Platforms like Twitter, Telegram, and Reddit are popular among the crypto community, and leveraging these channels through targeted content, influencer collaborations, and community management can significantly boost brand awareness and credibility.

Content Marketing and Educational Resources

The crypto industry is complex, and many potential users and investors may feel overwhelmed by the technical jargon and concepts involved. Effective crypto marketing services like offered by Icoda.io often include content marketing and educational resources that demystify the technology and provide valuable insights to the target audience. Well-crafted blog posts, whitepapers, video tutorials, and webinars can position a project as a thought leader and build trust among the community.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Digital Advertising

While the crypto community is highly engaged, it’s also essential to reach a broader audience through search engine optimization (SEO) and digital advertising strategies. Optimizing website content and leveraging paid advertising platforms like Google Ads and social media advertising can increase visibility and drive targeted traffic to a project’s website or landing pages.

Airdrops, Bounty Programs, and Referral Campaigns

Airdrops, bounty programs, and referral campaigns are popular marketing tactics in the crypto space. Airdrops involve distributing free tokens or coins to users who complete specific tasks, such as following social media accounts or joining a community. Bounty programs incentivize users to complete tasks like writing articles, creating videos, or translating content in exchange for rewards. Referral campaigns leverage the power of word-of-mouth by rewarding existing users for referring new users to a project.

Partnerships and Collaborations

Partnering with established brands, influencers, or other crypto projects can be a powerful marketing strategy. Strategic collaborations can help projects tap into new audiences, leverage existing communities, and gain credibility through association. Crypto marketing services often facilitate these partnerships, leveraging their industry connections and expertise.

Attending and Sponsoring Events

The crypto industry is characterized by a vibrant event scene, with conferences, meetups, and hackathons taking place around the world. Attending and sponsoring these events can provide valuable networking opportunities, increase brand visibility, and facilitate direct engagement with potential users and investors.

Measuring Success and Adapting Strategies

Effective crypto marketing requires a data-driven approach and the ability to measure and adapt strategies based on performance metrics. Key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, social media engagement, conversion rates, and community growth should be closely monitored, and marketing strategies should be adjusted accordingly to optimize results.

Compliance and Regulatory Considerations

As the cryptocurrency industry continues to evolve, regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements are becoming increasingly important. Crypto marketing services must stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations to ensure that marketing activities comply with applicable guidelines and avoid potential legal issues.

Choosing the Right Crypto Marketing Services

With the diverse range of crypto marketing services available, selecting the right partner can be a daunting task. When evaluating potential service providers, it’s essential to consider their industry experience, track record of successful campaigns, understanding of the crypto landscape, and ability to tailor strategies to your specific project’s needs.

In conclusion, navigating the crypto marketing landscape requires a comprehensive and strategic approach. By leveraging the right crypto marketing services, projects and businesses can effectively engage with their target audience, build a strong community, and establish a competitive edge in the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency space. As the industry continues to mature, the role of effective marketing will become increasingly crucial for projects seeking long-term success and adoption.

  • Ensure ease of movement: this product helps people with disabilities or muscle weakness in performing daily tasks and moving around.
  • Improving balance: helps maintain stability while moving, which increases the confidence of people with balance problems.
  • Reducing the load on the joints: tthey help reduce stress on joints and muscles, which is especially important for people with musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis.

Benefits of Using a Walker

  • Improved quality of life: they help users lead an active lifestyle while maintaining independence and mobility.
  • Reducing the risk of falls: the additional support and stability of a walker reduce the risk of injuries and falls, which is especially important for older people.
  • Support for independence: help users perform everyday tasks without additional assistance, which increases their independence.
  • Promote physical activity: supports physical activity, which leads to improved overall health and well-being.

Recommendations for Choosing a Walker

  • Identifying needs. It is important to consider your needs and physical abilities before choosing this device.
  • Consultation with a specialist. Consult your doctor or physiotherapist for advice on choosing the best type of walker.
  • Read reviews and ratings. Research reviews and ratings of different walker models to find the most suitable option.
  • Testing. Test it out before you buy to make sure it’s comfortable and meets your needs.
  • Check the warranty and service. Make sure that you have a warranty and access to service centers for timely maintenance of the devices.

Walkers play an important role in maintaining mobility and independence for individuals with disabilities. They help maintain independence, improve quality of life, and reduce the risk of falls and injuries. The right choice of walker depends on the individual needs of the user and the conditions of use. Consulting with a specialist, reading reviews and testing walkers will help you make the best choice and ensure maximum comfort and support.
