Some smaller roles within a business owner’s job can often be more difficult than you think. If you are someone who has not worked in business, then there is a good chance that you think that your main concerns would be making profits and getting sales. The two major components of this are going to be both person management, as well as time management. Of course, if these were your core responsibilities, then there is a good chance you might not find it too challenging. If you need some help when it comes to keeping your office more organised, then here are some tips that could make your life easier.

Make Sure Staff Are Doing Their Jobs

You are not going to be able to do every single job in the office. If you could, then you would probably be the best professional in the world. However, you can’t, which is why you need to rely heavily on your staff to do a good job. Things can start to become messy when the members of your team are not doing their jobs correctly. This might mean they are procrastinating too much, or even just not working well as a team. Making sure that every single person is doing their job is going to make sure that these jobs get done.

You also want to make sure everyone is coming into work well and capable of doing their jobs. So, don’t be afraid to send someone home if they are too sick or overtired. As well as this, if you are faced with an issue where you think an employee might be using drugs and alcohol on a working day, then this is something to address. Just make sure to use a hair follicle drug test to be sure of your concerns.

Have a Good Staff Rota

Having a good team means that you don’t have to put as much work into making sure staff are doing their jobs. So, even if this means the employment process is much longer, be sure of the people you are hiring. Once you have a good team, the worries of being organised are going to be much lower.

Don’t Be Afraid of Making Changes

Sometimes, things just don’t work out as you might like them as a business owner. You might implement some rules in the workplace which are just not working. Going ahead with these kinds of methods that don’t work is going to leave things very messy and disorganised. This is why you should never be afraid of making changes. Being able to adapt is a sign of being a good business owner.

A not-so-old adage says cows eat grass; therefore, steak is plant-based meat. I was reminded of that last week when someone was talking to me about some vegan encounter of the third kind—the COIVD-era equivalent of a food Karen.

It occurred to me that vegans are made out of meat. Don’t get Jeffrey Dahmer on me; I’m just putting that out there.

THAT reminded me of a clip I’d shared from season four of Yellowstone. Kevin Costner is John Dutton. He gets a call about an anti-meat protest and briefly chats with the ringleader (Summer) about killing “helpless” animals. It starts with, “You ever plow a field, Summer?, and ends with, “The real question is, how cute does an animal have to be to die before it feeds you.”

 

 

I finally got to watch the full episode it is from, and it always makes me smile.

THAT reminded me of the Impossible burger, fake meat, and a parallel lie told by the folks working doubly hard to make an already hard thing (life) more miserable. The claim is that fake meat is better for the planet than the commercial beef industry. We know that’s not true. But then there’s the fake-meat splinter faction that insists lab-grown meat – a new fad embraced by the likes of Bill Jab Em’ All Gates – is better for the planet than the real thing, and (Surprise!) that’s not true either.

 

In the study, the scientists estimated the energy required for stages of lab-grown meat production, from the ingredients making up the growth medium and the energy required to power laboratories, and compared this with beef.

They largely focused on the quantity of growth medium components, including glucose, amino acids, vitamins, growth factors, salts, and minerals.

They found the “global warming” potential of lab-grown meat ranged from 246 to 1,508 kg of CO2 equivalent per kilogram of lab-grown meat.

The figure is four to 25 times greater than the claimed average “global warming” potential of retail beef.

According to the experts, this does not change depending on which animal’s cells are being grown and the meat that’s being created, whether it’s beef, chicken, or lamb.

It’s a very long and tedious scientific paper with a lot of stuff that is beyond my burger, but the idea itself makes sense. Farming has long been a bogeyman of the CO2 cult and its hippie predecessors. They were concerned about fertilizer, algae bloom, and genetically engineered foods and still are but not genetically modifying vaccines.

They then objected to farming’s massive plumes of carbon dioxide – a number that’s larger when you pretend it’s organic farming, but we are meant to believe that plant-based meat (a lot more agriculture, processing, and manufacturing) wouldn’t make that problem worse – which it actually would and does.

The response to that problem  (or so some suggest) is lab-grown meat. Synthetically duplicated meat-like material from something that might be but probably is not meat. That’s going to save us. But what about all the jobs to create those no farms, no food bumper-stickers? No worries. Lab-grown meat is not going to “save us.”

As noted above, growing meat in a lab appears to be twenty-five times more dangerous to the planet (emissions-wise) than beef on the hoof if that sort of thing concerns you. Not I, but the hypocrisy of anti-co2 hypocrites replacing essential protein with garbage whose manufacture releases exponentially more carbon than the real thing (since they pretend to care) does.

It is a process whose “emissions” would fill the bank accounts of advocates who are also doing what they can to make the real thing unaffordable (just like oil, gas, water, electricity, food, housing, travel, …).

I’m just hoping people notice how bad this is all around and push back especially the fake virtue-signaling no-meat planeteers. If things go sideways and badly, they won’t know how to hunt anything but people.

Vegan cannibals. I bet they’ll demand special rights and complain about the emissions from the fires you’ll need to cook and stay warm.

Stupid people continue to play stupid games and in this case, win stupid endings. I will say that the Dad must have been pretty accurate as he defended both (and his Mom elsewhere in the house):

A pair of masked men broke into a Tennessee home last week, tased the family dog, and held the homeowner’s teenage son at gunpoint, New Window WSMV-TV reported. But the homeowner armed himself, opened fire, wounded one of the intruders, and killed the other, the station said.

To quote an old song, “Now THAT’S the way (uh-hu, uh-hu) I LIKE it…!”

Decisions have consequences, and two were made one after the other:

1. Two guys decided that they were entitled to other peoples’ stuff OR were just plain evil and wanted to hurt someone. Or both.
2. Dad made the decision to exercise his Second Amendment Right to own and bear arms by purchasing a semi-automatic weapon (a Glock, so it seems) and became proficient in using it under extreme duress.

Murfreesboro police told WSMV they responded around 8:30 p.m. Friday to a home in the 100 block of January Street. A preliminary investigation indicated two masked intruders broke into the home through the front door, tased the family’s dog, and held the homeowner’s teenage son at gunpoint, the station added.

“I heard my dog make like a noise like something was hurting, and I heard taser,” the homeowner, who wishes to remain anonymous, New Window told WTVF-TV.

He added to WTVF, “Then I heard my son holler out ‘Don’t shoot!’ so I knew something wasn’t right then, so I retrieved my gun, and came out of my room, and that’s when I seen the intruder had the gun pointed at my son.”

And then instinct (and I would imagine practice):

With that, the homeowner shot the two intruders, WSMV said.  Police found one masked man with multiple gunshot wounds near the home’s front door, WTVF said, adding that 52-year-old Kevin Ford was pronounced dead at the scene. Another intruder — 42-year-old Clifford Wright — was found at the Salvation Army on Main Street suffering from several gunshot wounds, police told WSMV, adding that Wright was treated at a hospital and taken to jail.

Several gunshot wounds X 2 – good shootin’ pardner!  That’s at least 3 or 4 per perp. That would be a high percentage with a 10-round mag.  Still a good aim, even with a 15-round mag. It was clear with the exit bullet holes through the house wall means he did miss.

This goes to show that the gun-grabbers and their incessant insistence on passing meddling laws to restrict magazine capacity might have gotten all of them killed (running out of ammo at a time when most needed – the story didn’t say if he was carrying an extra mag).

As I was reading this story at The Blaze, I kept thinking, “He’s alright, his Mom’s alright, and so is his son. But what about his tasered dog (the Dad’s “early warning system)?”  Fortunately, the news report had an update:

Fifty-five years ago, the State of Vermont became the first in the nation to ban roadside billboards. I didn’t know that, but now that I do, celebrating the “accomplishment” – and they are – given the current direction of state energy policy is ridiculous.

 

In the late 60s and early 70s, state lawmakers examined a number of environmental bills including Act 250, the bottle bill, and a billboard ban. Former state Representative Ted Riehle, R-South Burlington, spearheaded the initiative to ban off-premise advertising. The landmark law is widely credited with helping Vermont maintain its rural natural scenery.

Environmental groups today say the tourism industry saw the bill as an economic opportunity. “I can’t tell you how many people visit me and say, ‘Wow, something’s really different here, I can’t put my finger on it’ — for days. Or, they will say, ‘Wow, there are no billboards. All of a sudden, I’m not attacked by advertising by every turn in the road,‘“ said Brian Shupe with the Vermont Natural Resources Council.

Rural natural scenery. Environmental groups say. Something’s really different here.

If you missed it, the Democrat-run state of Vermont has been on a fast train to a California-style green energy utopia. Electric everything, and you can’t use nuclear. Hydro is bad (for reasons still unclear). Still, they need to produce enough electricity from the sun and the breeze to power everything, so the state will need to erect a significant number of scenery-disrupting solar and wind farms.

It’s the law, and rather than repeal that or rewrite it, they are committed to ending fossil fuel-powered cars and replacing gas, coal, and oil with electricity. To do that, the landscape will need to be thoroughly transformed. Picture the forests of wind turbines – giant metal and polymer structures breaking the horizon at every turn, secured with tons of concrete planted in giant holes dug into the  “rural natural scenery.” And just below that, a chunk of once scenic mountainside, farm, or field will need to be cleared for solar panel farms that will make the earth beneath them useless for much else.

And don’t forget the new infrastructure to store or carry all this scrumptious planet-saving “green” energy. You will need banks of batteries, transfer technology, quite a few additional transformers (at nearly every turn of the road), and more or newer overhead transmission lines crisscrossing the state.

But hey. Congrats on the billboard ban thing. Great work.

It’s the Best Natural Pick Me Up There Is

As research and the writing around the benefits of exercise and fitness have increased, it is now realized and accepted that exercise can make you feel better about yourself, as well as improve your physical state. There is arguably no natural pick-me-up as good as exercise. No matter how much you manage to do, from a small walk, taking the stairs, or a weight training program that manages to increase your heart rate, it is all going to improve your mood and your health.

The takeaway is that you too need to think about how to include and incorporate a sustainable exercise regime into your life. It’s simple enough to do and the benefits are remarkable. The proviso is that you will also need to consult a medical practitioner or your doctor if you have any concerns or are starting an exercise regime for the first time. Then, just have fun with it and find a form of exercise that works for you. The possibilities, as touched on here, are somewhat endless.

The Sununu family business is politics, so Chris Sununu running for office was never a surprise. Nor is his being a world-class RINO peddling the Never-Trump narrative. It’s a family tradition. But if they want Trump to lose the Primary, the odds of that improve significantly if Chris endorses him.

I know that Chris has been going on cable news for (it seems like) years now, bashing President Trump. Give him a microphone, and the odds are that he has something bad to say about the guy. Mostly Never-Trumper narratives suggest he, like his Trump-hating brethren, is either blind, misinformed or a serial fibber.

On Tuesday morning, Chris Sununu was on a local radio station saying Donald Trump has no ability to get things done. Really?

Energy independence, border security, blooming peace in the middle east, and a booming economy. He brought manufacturing jobs back to America and put China and Iran on notice. He got tax cuts passed for regular folks, criminal justice reform, health care and prescription drug reform, VA reform, a record number of Circuit Court nominees approved (judicial reform), signed 12-week parental/family leave into law, made Hemp and CBD legal in the US, got NATO to pay for more of its defense spending, asked an openly gay US ambassador to lead a global initiative to decriminalize homosexuality, and created record numbers of jobs and wages for kids, teens, women, and people of color. That’s the shortlist.

Here is a longer list of the hundreds of things Trump got done, including a rare exception to the rule in politics. Donald Trump tried to do or did everything he campaigned on. He did that too. Do you know what Trump didn’t do? He didn’t start any new wars. Is that what Sununu means?

Back to my point. That if they want Trump to lose, Sununu needs to endorse him. Sununu endorsed Chuck Morse, and he lost, then supported the guy who beat Morse – Don Bolduc – who lost.

Sununu endorsed Geroge Hansel in the NH CD-2 primary, and he lost.

Sununu endorsed Matt Mowers, he lost.

Chris Sununu even endorsed people we thought would be good, like Rich Girard and Victoria Sullivan. They both lost. So you see my point? I’m sure he’s gotten a few right, but given the odds, especially in state and national races, if Chris Sununu truly believes Donald Trump can’t win and will not get anything done, he needs to endorse him in the Republican Primary.

Trump has a 45-point primary lead over DeSantis, and no one else comes close (Sununu is at 0.7%).

And since Governor appears to be his political ceiling, and he hasn’t had to run against anyone for the job in the past three elections (he barely one his first Primary, if you recall), I don’t see what else he had to offer the Never-Trump wing of the GOP.

The Government Integrity Project launched a new podcast from their new Windham Studio, and did so in block buster fashion by landing Corey Lewandowski for the first guest of the first podcast.

Corey’s long time friend and 2024 NH Trump Campaign Co-Chair Bruce Breton was in the studio and said this was a rare unfiltered interview that revealed another side of Corey.

The interview was energetic and riveting. It was disturbing to hear Corey describe the seven times he testified in front of congress and the FBI due to the bogus Russia, Russia, Russia scam that the FBI knew at the time was fabricated.

More startling is that during the FBI interrogation, all video and audio recording devices were prohibited by Muller from being used in the room. Even after Corey raised concerns and requested the meeting be electronically recorded to accurately capture what was said.

Due to those personally invasive and disruptive experiences, Corey said he is seriously considering filing a massive Class Action Lawsuit against the FBI and Department of Justice where the merits of the case are in the recently released Durham report.

Islam need not even literally destroy the civilized world. All it needs is to gain enough power to impose its worse-than-death Sharia on everyone. Communists and anarchists often fall into the same trap. Their version of a thing that has never worked will overcome human nature. It’ll be fantastic. It never is.

With Marxism, the destruction of everything is a requirement, but in practice, the only things ruined are those that keep the select few from absolute power and anything that attempts to challenge it once they have it. Ruin follows along with misery, and it stays that way except for the Party leaders who hand out favors, but no one is ever safe, and the police state required to sustain that model is unpredictable and ever-present.

With anarchy, destruction happens because there is nothing to prevent it. We become the zombie apocalypse until a select few scrape a bit of order out of the chaos. An order you are not encouraged to challenge, which becomes a police state little different from other Fascist/Marxist forms of rule.

The two are sketched on opposite sides of someone’s political spectrum, but they are fraternal twins without a difference, doomed to similar ends. Despotism.

Gabriel Sims-Fewer, the former owner of the no longer (if it ever were) viable Anarchist cafe, thought he could run an entire business as the have-a-penny-give-a-penny, need-a-penny-take-a-penny dish on the counter at your local gas station or convenience mart.

Mr. “F*ck the rich. F*ck the police. Fuck the state” somehow managed to keep the thing above water for a year, so props for that, but it appears to be the life cycle of these misguided communitarian concerns. They last for about a year, ignoring that if you let people steal from you without consequence, they will.

And I’m not sure why they can’t see what is at the core of their outrage. People are why the rich, the police, or the state sucks – if that’s your schtick. Why, then, would you believe they’d be any different absent the money, the uniform, or the office? We know it’s not true. Especially under the umbrella of the secular humanist pantheon of empty space that dominates cults of personality upon which the proprietors of these establishments are metaphorical card-carrying members.

Without any THING greater than themselves to rein them in (real or imagined), people can be complete and utter bastards, and you can’t expect to keep a business open with them as your customer base. They will take until there is nothing left, and unlike Congress, you can’t pass the cost or consequences down to other people’s grandchildren.

And yes, plenty of people who believe in something greater than themselves will use that to be complete and utter bastards because they are people.

Hate faith or government all you like, but there are things about human nature you can’t deny. First, everyone has a godless vacuum. Filling it with crap doesn’t mean it’s not there. Second, free-market capitalism based on the founding American Experiment isn’t perfect because neither are we, but it is better than all the other economic systems. It offers us – with a few guardrails and a bit of morally managed expectation of human decency – proof that, given the opportunity, people can and will lift themselves out of poverty. They will decide what that means and define their success.

We know it works, but people being people are doing everything they can to ruin it with their own anarchist/communitarian system for inevitable failure. The US Federal Government is operating a pay-when-you-can system on steroids. It is spending trillions on things that won’t be when the people (not yet born) who will have to pay for it and the interest get the bill.

Much like the Anarchist cafe’ it too will go out of business, but not before putting a lot of other people (who tried to do it right) out of business to feed that beast.

Very interesting analysis of the 2022 midterms at Real Clear Politics. In a nutshell, all the reasons we have been given for the anticipated “red wave” turning into a red ripple … e.g., “bad candidates,” “Trump,” “abortion,” blah, blah, blah are bullish*t.

What really happened is the Democrats successfully targeted eight States … INCLUDING NEW HAMPSHIRE … which acted as “breakwater” transforming the wave into a ripple:

The Breakwater Theory contends that (1) national conditions and public opinion provided a strong basis for the development of a formidable red wave; (2) the red wave had formed with strong Republican prospects in both congressional and state elections; and (3) the expected red wave was not realized because Democrats constructed a breakwater preventing the full force of the red wave from hitting shore. The construction of the Democrats’ breakwater was the result of the confluence of the Democrats’ means, motives, and opportunities.

And here is what I find key:

Finally, the means. Two factors combined to provide Democrats with the means to exploit these opportunities. The first was the prevalence of Democrat-friendly easy and early mail-in voting rules in the Breakwater States. The second was the enormous amount of financial support available to Democrats to fund extensive mobilization campaigns in these states – boosting the turnout of Democratic voters who likely would otherwise not vote. The already in-place candidate, party, and supporting organizations, important to earlier Democratic electoral success in these states, also likely contributed an important platform for mounting this mobilization effort.

The article acknowledges that New Hampshire does NOT have the same “early mail-in voting rules” as other “breakwater States” … WHICH MEANS THAT the NH-Communists (aka NH-Democrats) advantage in mobilizing voters was why the State remained solidly BLUE (sorry, bitter-clingers but I do not consider Sun-King Sununu a real Republican … he’s actually a Democrat who is heretical on a few issues).

In other words, this article is saying what I have been saying … 2022 was a disaster for NH-Republicans because Democrats worked SMARTER and worked HARDER than they did. AND, tragically, the NH-GOP Establishment has learned NOTHING from the shellacking … case in point: “Leader” Jason Osborne continues to bloviate how “top of the ticket” is all that matters.

AND … in the interest of completeness … what also likely contributed to the debacle in 2022 was Sun-King Sununu’s COVID-tyranny and embrace of WOKE causing an exodus of Red voters and an influx of Blue voters.

New Hampshire Senate Bill 272 (SB272) is coming up for a vote in the NH House this week and probably tomorrow, Thursday, May  18th. It is the Parental Rights Bill. Legislation that the following School Board Members want them to vote down.

These elected school board members don’t want parents to have rights over their own children in the public schools for which these parents pay. It’s insulting to parents, guardians, and caregivers.

They are, of course, entitled to their opinion, and you are entitled to know theirs.

The following list was sent to me via email. Please take a moment to read it.

If you plan to contact your legislator(s) before tomorrow morning to let them know that you support parents’ rights, please be brief and polite.

Everyone, just relax. Islam is badly misunderstood. The negative stereotype of Islam is the usual evil-doings of Zionists in America and their foolish fellow travelers, fundamentalist Christians. Please don’t listen to what these hatemongers say about Islam and hear us out; so implies the nationally-launched campaign of Muslim organizations in the United States.

Ads are popping up in newspapers and magazines proclaiming the magnificence of Islam and aiming to refute the “false allegations” of Islam’s ill-wishers.

Huge billboards are festooning major highways, such as the one along Highway 101 and Tully Road in San Jose, California, with crafty messages. Bold letters on the billboard proclaim Islam You Deserve to Know. A toll-free number, 1-877-WhyIslam, and a website, Why Islam.org beckon the public to get the real scoop about the religion of peace.

The billboard sneakily reminds the viewers about their kinship with Muslims. “Islam: The message of Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Mohammad.”

Well folks—Christians and Jews—the overwhelming majority of the people in the United States, you need to relax about Islam. Muslims are family. They are your kindred through your shared progenitor, Abraham.

Having Abraham as an ancestor would demand that the “children” be loving siblings. That’s the message the American Muslims try to convey. And that’s the way they aim to keep us in the deadly slumber of complacency and the delusion of multiculturalism.

For one, multiculturalism and multi-religionism are not interchangeable and are not one and the same. Muslims and their frequently well-paid apologists use the multiculturalism umbrella only in non-Islamic lands to shield themselves from the torrent of legitimate criticisms that those who know Islam better shower on this cult of violence peddled as the religion of peace.

Don’t listen to me and don’t listen to these conniving dissimulators. Find out for yourself. See if the euphemism of multiculturalism is ever even mentioned by any Islamic leader, ever printed in the Islamic press, or ever appears in any form anywhere in Muslim countries. This multiculturalism gambit is Islam-manufactured wool to pull over the eyes of the non-Muslims while the Muslims carry on with their unrelenting campaign of eradicating anything or anyone non-Islamic anywhere in the world.

Those of us, through reason and tremendous acts of will, who have freed ourselves from the enslaving yoke of Islam placed around our necks from birth, know about all the heinous inside dirt of this plague of humanity. We hardly need to call a toll-free number to hear a phony canned message of deceptions and lies.

We have experienced Islam first-hand and up close from the inside. We have studied the Quran, the Hadith, and the Sunna. We have seen Islam in action where it wields sway. Some of us even tried desperately to cling to this security blanket that was wrapped around us from birth. Yet, the more we studied and the more we experienced Islam, the more our effort to remain in the fold became untenable.

We broke away from Islamic slavery and found it to be our solemn duty to expose this fraud of a religion, help other Muslims to free themselves from it, and warn the good-hearted and gullible non-Muslims against falling prey to it.

The Muslim organizations in America, generously financed by the oil-rich Muslim government and sheiks, are directed to sell Islam Lite for long enough until the cult runs deep roots and the Real Islam is introduced. One can see how the scheme played out in Europe. Much of Europe is already past the stage of Islam Lite and knee-deep into the quagmire of Real Islam. And that’s exactly where things are headed in America.

For a starter, remember the Somali Muslim cabbies of the Minneapolis airport and their refusal of blind fares with seeing-eye dogs, because dogs are unclean according to their belief? The same cabbies that had a virtual monopoly at the airport also rejected passengers who had alcoholic beverages in their possession. And the recent campaign of Muslims in New York to force the city to officially recognize Islamic holidays. These chosen people of Allah have more holidays than working days. No wonder they are among the most backward and unproductive in the world.

These “annoyances” aside, one has to be more than daft not to see for himself and not be sickened by the horrors Muslims in power and Muslim governments commit wherever they reign in the world. Their barbaric acts are not isolated behaviors of some deranged individuals that one can find within any group. They are, in fact, mandated by the authoritative teachings of Islam, and those who practice them proudly proclaim their actions as an implementation of Islamic teachings.

And they are correct in this claim. Let’s just see a sampling of the Islamic teachings that mandate the beastly treatment of women, human slaves, and all non-Muslims, including those that the Islamic Softsell in the West aims to bunch itself with as kin—Jews and Christians.

Quran 4.34 Men have authority over women because Allah has made the one superior to others and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because Allah has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them. Then if they obey, you take no further action against them. Allah is high, supreme.

Q uran16.75 Allah sets forth a parable: (consider) a slave, the property of another, (who) has no power over anything, and one whom We have granted from ourselves goodly sustenance so he spends from it secretly and openly; are the two alike? (All) praise is due to Allah!

Quran 5:51 O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: they are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guides not a people unjust.

You may say that you know Muslims and you find them to be decent people, family people, hard-working people who are no different than any other group of people. However, these people are Bad Muslims. Why so? Because they do not live the life, the Quran commands them to lead. It is the Good Muslims that you don’t ever want to meet. These are the diehard jihadists, the terrible killers who spare no torture on infidels before decapitating them or hanging them while intoning Allah’s praise. These are the ones that don’t show the slightest mercy to their very own people who fail to toe the line.

These Real Muslims viciously and repeatedly rape women, and even men are arrested without arrest warrants. One “lucky” victim who managed to escape the claws of these evils is Maryam Sabri (and so many others), arrested on phony charges and repeatedly raped in Iran’s Evin prison.

Acts of horrors committed in Islamic lands aside, it is disturbing to see Muslims dissimulate, sweet-talk, and use any and all means in free non-Islamic societies to convert people to their cult. Yet, if a Muslim, on his own free will decides to leave Islam he is condemned as apostate and automatically sentenced to death. And right here in America, the suffocating tentacles of Islamic bigotry are beginning to reach out to people. Just the other day, for instance, a teenage girl had to run away from her Muslim family fearing being killed by her own father for having become Christian.

This Islamic Softsell is a replay of Muhammad’s own life example. He was peaceful and humble in Mecca among his powerful detractors. Once in Medina and with power, Muhammad slaughtered the Jews of Medina as easily as if they were sheep, plundered their belongings, and took the “sellable” women and children as slaves.

It is said that truthfulness is the foundation of all virtues. Islam not only condones, it encourages lying and dissimulation— taqiyya in dealing with non-Muslims. Hence the ads, the billboards, and the claims of these liars are little more than packs of crafty propaganda.

No, there is no misunderstanding. No, it is not the Zionists and fundamentalist Christians who are misrepresenting Islam. It is Muslims and Muslim organizations who are guilty of dissimulation and fraud. Muslims act meekly when they lack sufficient power. Once in power, Real Islam emerges from its shell of dissimulation and puts free people and their way of life to the sword.

When you have a legislature willing to help you advance your agenda, you do it. Democrats know this, and so does Ron DeSantis. Regardless of what you think about him as a presidential contender, the guy isn’t a wallflower afraid of offending the donor class by doing something…Republican.

Is that a problem for him, and does it matter?

There are several theories out there suggesting this is for show. That DeSantis is the not so republican Republican Governors Association (RGA) candidate, and the wallflower Republicans like Sununu (thinking about running), Nikki Haley (Trump Deserter), or Asa Hutchinson (announced, but so what) are only there to make him DeSantis look better and to bash Trump.

It makes no sense to me. Why water the field down? Let DeSantis go head-to-head with Trump, let the media bash Trump, and may the best man win the nomination.

Maybe I’m reading that wrong, but that’s my thinking.

My other issue is that Republicans (the RGA, in this example) can’t be criminal masterminds and blundering idiots in the same breath. It’s the same problem I had when Democrats suggested George Bush had coordinated 9/11. Until then, and almost every moment after it, Bush was a moron who couldn’t even pronounce nuclear. But suddenly, he was Moriarty, coordinating a complicated act of terrorism on US soil.

And if he wanted to help his oil buddies (as many still contend), he could have worked to open up domestic production and skipped the Middle-Eastern BS. Trump did it. We were energy independent for about five minutes until Whoever is Running the Biden Administration slammed that door.

I like both (Trump and DeSantis), but Trump still has the outsider advantage. I think he needs to come clean about his pandemic errors in a big way and explain how he’d avoid that in the future. As for DeSantis, he’s doing stuff Republicans like and want. Loudly and proudly like it’s some big middle finger to the Left’s agenda, and what’s not to like about that?

 

In addition to defunding DEI projects, the law also bars public colleges from infusing critical race theory and related grievance politics ideologies into curricula for general education courses. Those classes “may not distort significant historical events or include a curriculum that teaches identity politics” stemming from “theories that systemic racism, sexism, oppression, and privilege are inherent in the institutions of the United States and were created to maintain social, political, and economic inequities,” according to the law.

“If you look at the way this has actually been implemented across the country, DEI is better viewed as standing for discrimination, exclusion and indoctrination,” DeSantis said at a press conference at New College of Florida in Sarasota. “And that has no place in our public institutions. This bill says the whole experiment with DEI is coming to an end in the state of Florida.”

 

Yeah, team! Get er done! Now we’re cooking with fire! Pick your pithy phrase, one-liner, quip, witticism, or sound bite. How about ‘never back down’? It’s the definitive rule when dealing with the cage rattlers on the Left. But it dares to challenge the soft underbelly of the go-along-get-along aisle-crossers in the big tent party.

It sounds good on TV and works great when the whole government is in your corner, but as I’ve mentioned before, what happens when everyone else is against you, and you can’t get anything you want without a few of them? Does stepping sideways count as never backing down?

Reagan was great, but even he gave away some things we’d like back, and after Biden, we can’t afford to give up anything else. We need to take some back, and Ron DeSantis is doing that in Florida. But would it translate to the big stage?
