Just how much more of the Marxist doctrine must the Democrat party endorse before their voters wake up to realize that what was for Granddad and his dad is no more? Current policies attest to the fact that the donkey insignia has been replaced with the hammer and sickle!

Having said this, consider when former stubbornness elected a President whose resume included documentation of draft dodging. Military service has never been a prerequisite for our Presidency, but Clinton’s conduct should bring a resounding public response of “not qualified!”

And there was more; many “ate up” the media’s adoration for their “gifted” orator by “electing the first black president.” Ironically, the question of being a “natural born citizen” was only directed in Sen. John McCain’s direction.

This deception was designed to insulate Obama since his father was a British subject of Kenya, a fact which he himself later made clear. This deception only prioritized the location of birth rather than both parents being American citizens, which Obama lacked!

As inappropriate and reckless as it was to elect Clinton, it wasn’t illegal, which can’t be said of Obama. His election violated Article II, Sect. 1 of our Constitution, which is the law of our land! In hindsight, questions could and should arise as to the legitimacy of his Presidency, including the policies that were enacted!

He later substantiated his non-presidential bearing when talking down to our nation, in his well-worn lecturing mode, that “America wasn’t a Christian nation.” Let’s just say he now owns another first, the first President to publicly and defiantly discount America’s Christian heritage!

The last Musketeer is still in office but sadly is committing his own disqualifying brand as he seems to endorse every communist initiative that reaches his desk. But enough already about America’s own version of “Uncle Joe!”

The record of these three misfits should not surprise since what do misfits do; especially when promoted past their pay grade? Although officeholders bear responsibility for the results of their endorsed policies, they never seem accountable. However, the remedy, as our Declaration rightly assigns, is still with “we the people,” the voters!

Other factors have contributed to America’s floundering. Certain negative influences have recently surfaced, along with the evil that they have endorsed. As this continues to unfold, so does the vastness of this well-organized effort to topple America.

Given my recent piece about the reappearance of truth and its stunning realities, which are always effective, another factor seems more weighty and demanding.

The dem’s political cupboard is bare! Campaigns cannot depend upon disastrous policies which are still being felt by the voter. So, the next resort is to attack and belittle the opponent. In addition to all the flimsy lawsuits and subsequent media hype, one amazing survivor from the 2016 campaigns, which perks up a certain following with its refreshing honesty, is the gruff but honest plain talk from the outsider.

This misdirecting onto a leader’s manners is insulting but more than that, it’s dangerous. Due in large part to the above mentioned trio, today is a time of opting to either remain free or to become subservient! There will not be any middle ground.

At this time, niceties are as irrelevant as they are defeating! This is a war for America’s preservation, and instead of nit-picking, we should thank God that a defender was born and breathes the same love of and dedication to Country as Washington and who is capable of a fierceness that matches Patton!

Most everyone who heard him or read his words was a bit aghast. Many thought he was saying that if he comes to take away our guns and demolish our Second Amendment rights, he will do so using F-15s and ( gulp) nuclear weapons.

To follow up on this story, my trusted assistant, Timothy Hasno Bottom, has secured an interview with an F-15 pilot. For obvious reasons, this pilot won’t talk to us unless we guarantee the utmost secrecy. We cannot even identify the base he flies out of nor address him by his name. We have to call him by his fake name: BOB. Take it away Timothy!”

Timothy: Thanks Buzz. As Buzz was saying, we cannot reveal the name of our guest nor even tell you that he, I mean, “it” is an F-15 pilot. We are standing outside “its ” base but we cannot identify it as an Air Force facility.Bob- we have been told that to defeat Gun owners, the government is planning on using F-15 jets to bomb us. Can you confirm that you have been trained in the endeavor?”

BOB: (Empty stare) Huh? What? Who told you that? I thought you wanted to interview me about Kamala Harris’s hiding place.

Timothy: Ok, well that was not a denial. So I will take it as a yes. Tell me, is Nashua a prime target? Or is it down on the list? Maybe third or fourth behind Hudson or Bedford?”

Interestingly enough, and unexpectedly, New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu signed on to the statement, which says,

A letter is nice, and 25 states are half of the whole, so it has some meaning, but I’m curious about what else is involved. Is this simply an act of solidarity? Will these states provide material support in court or at the border?

New Hampshire has a border, and it needs protecting, too, as the chaos in the south distracts from the rise in drug and human trafficking coming down from  Canada – which has no problem jailing truckers but can’t seem to keep Mexicans out of Quebec.

I’m not saying we need help, but we need something, and Texas needs more than a letter. But I’ll admit to being impressed and thankful for the show of support. We give the governor a lot of crap which – admittedly – he brings on himself, but we’ve always been balanced about it. When we see good, we say as much, and this, Governor Sununu, is good.

In a surprising and disappointing decision from the High Court, Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Amy Coney Barrett sided with the court’s three liberals — Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor, and Ketanji Brown Jackson to reverse a lower court decision to prevent the Federal Government from removing razor wire placed by Texas to secure its Border.

It is disheartening that the Supreme Court would join the White House in its effort to destroy our Sovereignty. It is surprising that Justice Barrett, who is supposed to be a strict Constitutionalist, abandoned the conservative judges to support the three Liberal justices. This case addresses a complex situation with the Federal and State Governments competing for control of the Border but for two very different reasons. This case is one of many involving disputes between Texas and the Biden Administration.

Texas wants to protect its people and its Sovereignty. It has an obligation to that purpose. The millions of illegals who have crossed the Border into Texas since Biden took office threaten the security of Texans and are costing them billions in tax dollars they do not have budgeted for the care and safety of illegals invading their state. These millions of people from around the globe are also filling up available residences, overcrowding the public school system, placing a tremendous burden on social services, and adding to the crime numbers in Texas. The surge of humanity also comes with drugs and guns, which are a problem for Texas and beyond. That is why Texas is taking the steps necessary to secure an otherwise open Border.

The Federal Government, specifically the Biden Administration, wants nothing to do with a closed and secure Border. They have no concern for the Sovereignty of the country and certainly not for Texas. The Federal resources on the Border are not there to stop or deter people from crossing the Border, but to assist them, aid in their illegal quest to enter America, and then process them quickly so NGOs like the Catholic Church can transport them to other regions of the country for permanent residence. We do not have a Border Patrol as that would intimate control of the Border. We have Border Assistance. These people cross the Border and are given court dates, sometimes as much as seven years out. There is little or no vetting, which is why we have found hundreds of illegals are also on terrorist watch lists.

Joe Biden has finally decided the Border is not secure, and his answer to securing it is a problem of money and not policy. He repeatedly claims that he needs Congress to give him more money but not for closing the Border, but for faster processing of the illegal immigrants. That is the core of Biden’s immigration policy; let as many people as want to come to America, come in through any opening they choose, and then have NGOs redistribute the masses throughout the country. This is not policy. This is treason and for some reason, five Supreme Court Justices saw fit to side with Joe Biden. One thing we can be sure of is Texans will not give up the fight. This issue is more black and white than people make it. It is about Sovereignty and the Republicans believe in it and Democrats don’t.

With all due respect to the people I’m about to pound like a broken storm door in a hurricane, New Hampshire’s elections are not clean, tight, or reliable—quite the opposite. And I think they know it.

If you read our recent reporting from Windham, Ken Eyring shared some election intrigue that centers on letters from the AG office and the Secretary of state admitting that election law is not being followed even after they plant a state moderator at the polling place to make sure it is. Tom and Ken spoke with us on Radio Row Sunday afternoon and explained the violations and the lack of interest by state authorities to fix them.

You’ll be oh so happy to know that the Jan 23rd primary at that same polling place was again rife with violations of state law on top of the other stories we have to share below – that suggest Haley’s second-place finish in the Granite State needs an asterisk.

I’ve had a handful of anecdotal reports from locals of attempted election law violations with regard to registered Democrats wanting to take a Republican ballot. One in my own home town, that I related yesterday, and several more communicated to me via email. Democrats around the state showed up to pull a Republican primary ballot despite being ineligible to do so. We can blame this on Gov. Chris Sununu – if memory serves – a registered Republican who has his head so far up Haley’s ass you can barely see his big shoulders; he has been saying Democrats should vote for Haley long after the deadline for changing party registration has passed.

Speaking of anecdotal examples, reporter Michael Tracey was on Glenn Greenwald’s podcast, and he shared two quick stories that add credibility to the argument.

Town officials ignorant of election law or who ignore it while the SoS and AG are content to write letters admitting violations of laws over which there appear to be no punishments seems like a shitty way to run them. We have the ability to strip those who violate election law in New Hampshire of the right to vote in the state. Maybe that’s what is needed when it comes to local election officials who have neither the time nor the ability to follow them.

That or huge fines and jail time.

Of course, we’d still run into the problem of finding an AG willing to charge and pursue justice for voters who may not even realize how badly their votes are mishandled. But it needs to be handled before someone decides it’s time to embrace Article 10 of the NH State Constitution.

A crazy story reported by the Israeli journalist Avishai Grinzaig:

On Friday in Khan Yunis, in the sector of one of the battalions in the 4th Brigade of the IDF.

Before a force from the battalion raided a certain point, they put a drone into the air after a suspicious figure was identified. In the drone they saw an elderly woman handcuffed to a bed.

After dispelling the suspicion of a deception incident by Hamas. The force went up to the apartment together with an Arabic-speaking investigator of the brigade.

They found a 75-year-old woman bound by her own hands and in very poor health.

The hands are very swollen, enlarge the picture and you will see. And the old woman was completely dehydrated.

While the doctor treated her, the division’s investigator asked her questions.

And she told them: her family fled from Khan Yunis to the south. Two Hamas operatives in IDF uniforms arrived, forcibly tied her to the bed and told her to say that the IDF did it. She lay like that tied to the bed for two days.

There are many more and monstrous and predatory cases of what Hamas is doing to the citizens of Gaza. They tie old women to a bed, attach explosives to old men, and other horrible things.

This is the evil of Hamas.

Until recently, it appeared that nuclear power was simply off the energy table for climate activists and environmentalists — but they are now embracing its possibilities.

This shift likely has been motivated by growing realization that solar panels and EVs just can’t accomplish the grand rescue they promised, along with the daunting environmental problems posed in their manufacture that can no longer be ignored. But the change is also driven by technological and design advances in nuclear reactor technology, for existing fission (atom-splitting) reactors and for a brave new world of fusion reactors that could potentially create energy with less risk and pollution by joining atoms together.

Fission

Modern nuclear power has been produced by harnessing the astonishing energy released when molecules are split. This is the same terrifying power of nuclear warfare, contained in water-cooled concrete control chambers to generate electricity. Yet Fukushima, Three Mile Island, and Chernobyl displayed the potential for calamity from this process and exposed the persistent challenges of safely storing spent nuclear rods.

At COP28 in Dubai November-December 2023, more than 20 nations signed a pledge to triple nuclear energy capacity by 2030, in what one headline dubbed “the year the UN climate summit went nuclear.” This tacit admission that renewables can’t cut the mustard may also reflect the sober reality that China and the UAE – and many other nations – are moving forward with nuclear power development whether the West likes it or not. Energy is the lifeblood of economic stability and growth: If the United States and other Western nations abandon fossil fuels and nuclear energy (as long demanded by the “Just End Oil” crowd), they will seed their own destruction.

Nuclear Is More ‘Renewable’

Abandoning fossil fuels becomes extremely difficult when they are necessary to mine, heat, process, and fabricate the “renewable” products manufactured to replace them. All renewable manufacturing is ultimately dependent on the fossil fuels it is designed to retire. Nosebleed oil prices compelled a reckoning with the impacts of inflation on the costs of vast solar fields and an EV in every driveway. Concurrently, rising interest rates undermined financing incentives for renewable products. The technological unfeasibility of the Utopian scheme to replace fuels with gadgets becomes clearer daily. Nuclear power quickly becomes economically and politically necessary as the only bailout for errant policy.

The technological timing of this transition is pivotal. It is questionable whether the world should be launching into mass manufacturing and installation of solar panels that are merely 22% efficient when technology promises 34% efficiency panels soon. Nuclear energy technology, in contrast, has been evolving for decades since the 1960s reactors most people envision when they think of nuclear power plants. Unless and until the technological and cost limitations of renewable energy are overcome, nuclear energy presents as a far superior option.

A New Generation

This is why nuclear energy activists were allowed entry into COP28, and climate activists have embraced nuclear power as “an effective way forward.” These are not your grandmother’s nuclear power plants. Beginning with a US-initiated research program in 2000, the “Generation IV International Forum” (GIF) collectively decided on lower-risk fission reactor designs for the future:

“[L]ate in 2002 GIF (then representing ten countries) announced the selection of six reactor technologies which they believe represent the future shape of nuclear energy … These were selected on the basis of being clean, safe and cost-effective means of meeting increased energy demands on a sustainable basis, while being resistant to diversion of materials for weapons proliferation and secure from terrorist attack … Most of the six systems employ a closed fuel cycle to maximise the resource base and minimise high-level wastes to be sent to a repository.”

Fusion on the Horizon

In the background of this nuclear power renaissance lurks nuclear fusion, which creates energy by combining (rather than splitting) lighter elements such as helium or hydrogen: The resulting reaction releases atomic “binding energy.” Nuclear fusion promises the cleanest and safest energy but presents more challenging scientific obstacles. The World Nuclear Association explained:

“Fusion power offers the prospect of an almost inexhaustible source of energy for future generations, but it also presents so far unresolved engineering challenges.

“The fundamental challenge is to achieve a rate of heat emitted by a fusion plasma that exceeds the rate of energy injected into the plasma.

“The main hope is centred on tokamak reactors and stellarators which confine a deuterium-tritium plasma magnetically.”

The scientific jury is still out on whether these fusion challenges can be solved by humankind, especially in time to avert alleged climate doom. But it appears that the world is quietly but quickly moving toward an acceptance of modernized fission reactors much like the Prodigal Son: “Gee, we missed you. Where have you been?” Next thing you know, Greta Thunberg will be advocating for “fast-neutron” nuclear reactor construction to “end” fossil fuels and save the world!

After the 2020 election, I saw an article online about speeding up processing by 1000 to 1 million times faster – written by Jay Valentine and his Fractal Programming team. I work with technology, and after investigating it more, I learned that Jay was involved in using Fractal technology to start cleaning up voter rolls as he was disappointed in the 2020 results.

He started a project called Omega with the intent to clean voter rolls, and he offered a system to replace the current ERIC system, which was used in 31 states and was originally (2012) funded by Soros.

Fractal – in a nutshell – is software that avoids using the I/O on a computer. The I/O greatly reduces the processing speed of today’s computer chips. The processors can work at high speeds but then get gated by traditional I/O.  Fractal makes full use of that horsepower by avoiding I/O and is able to work faster, allowing for data searches that don’t work with traditional database tools and queries.

So, when people claim that their voter rolls are ok, some have trouble finding or pinpointing bad records because they are using 40-year-old technology. Jay’s website has several videos explaining how this works and what he is finding. The results are stunning. He has run data for 25 states, and they have found significant errors large enough to change the results of our elections.

I wrote to Jay to see if I could use his material for the Granite Grok, and he said he was about to check the voter roll data for New Hampshire. Once he checks it, he will likely post a video on his website. This is a process that, in my opinion, is required in every state – especially where mail-in voting happens. Through proactive monitoring, he has discovered that thousands of zip codes are changed in time to mail out ballots and then changed back so no one is the wiser. The recipient doesn’t know since they are getting mail just fine. They just did not receive their mail-in ballot.

You can bet that someone ended up with the ballots. So, if you haven’t heard about Mr. Valentine and his technology, it’s worth some time to look into and support.

I’ve decided to put into words a “cyber journal entry,” for lack of better phrasing. This comes less than 24 hours after holding a Trump sign outside a school in the suburbs. I will first mention my gratitude in having the freedom of speech that one has when not being a candidate or paid spokesperson for a candidate.

In more blunt terms, let’s call it freedom from old-school manners.

Trolling happens in the adult world, mostly online, but unsurprisingly, also in person, especially when it comes to Trump. I volunteered to do my part and put in some time holding his sign and joined some like-minded folks yesterday. A surly man approached me and asked why I support Trump. My rusty, knee-jerk reaction was to go into salesman mode as if I had just rang this stranger’s doorbell. When I randomly named a few of the common answers to his question, he went into full-blown high-on CNN Kool-Aid mode.

After a few volleys, I said, “I can see where this discussion is going, and I’m done talking to you.” When he claimed to be an undecided independent, which was possibly partially true or a total lie, I said, “It’s obvious that you’ve rehearsed all the scripted talking points to refute me, no matter what path we take.” Like a school bully, he said, “but so have you.” I replied, “but YOU were the one who approached me and initiated this talk.”

At this point, one of my peers, who happened to be a good subject matter expert in one of the commonly debated related topics, stepped in and took over. A few minutes later, he went into the building. A while after that, a couple approached our group, and they similarly initiated such talk. This time, I was a passive observer as they split up the discussion, kind of like doing man-to-man instead of zone defense. After a few minutes of that unpleasantness, I thought about my cold extremities and full bladder. I told the last unoccupied team member that I was leaving and didn’t want to interrupt either of the other two. This trend of brick-and-mortar trolling was definitely taking up too much space in my mind in the hours that followed. I thought of my mother and her “sticks and stones” lecture that is commonly given to small school children, so so was in the 70s. Then I thought about the whole modern “walk away” concept, which is difficult to implement in such a venue.

At this point, it should be clarified that this article is not about the merits of voting for Trump or criticism of his critics. It’s about handling one particular variety of them. While there are many varieties of them, I’m not going to mince words. I’m talking about the plain old-ass hole variety. They clearly have no interest in polite discourse in bringing people together as evidenced in their modus operandi. They are just agitators wanting to troll. I thought about ways to shut them down, not silencing them but shutting down their dialogue with those uninterested in engagement with their drivel. The minefield to navigate is their switching of tactics to debating WHY you’re unwilling to have their conversation. They will, of course, insult you for that. Don’t dignify them by playing defense. I will refer you to a 4-minute Prager U parenting podcast.

When a kid asks their parents WHY they just barked a particular order, the parents are advised to say, “Because I said so.” That used to drive me nuts as a kid when my parents, mostly my mother, did that once I “poked the bear” too hard in my persistent pursuit to have my way. Don’t let the troll play armchair cross-examining lawyer with you. Say “I would prefer not to (have this conversation)” when approached with a “why do you support Trump” and smell ill intentions. Of course, this requires a bit of profiling and supposition, but such people are not going to just disappear. Implementing the philosophy of acceptance (that they’re here to stay) is necessary. It’s a good idea to have tools in your toolbox, and this is one of them.

I also recommend the 2001 movie Bartleby the Scrivener if you’re into that kind of humor.

So, all in all, I share these thoughts that might prove helpful to some but not necessarily to all. If you, dear reader, think this tactic might be useful, try it. But then again, maybe you “would prefer not to.”

If you recall, I reported on an email exchange with an editor or researcher (or some such thing) from NewsGuard. They are a deep-state surveillance stooge for policing unapproved content. Put another way, the lower your rating, the less likely you are peddling the uniparty, globalist narrative

I am happy to report that, as expected, NewGuard gave GraniteGrok a 37.5 rating (100 being the best).

I won’t go into the details because all you need to know is that a well-funded tool of the speech police has branded us as unfavorable to their message control, and I look forward to fundraising off that, especially since the primary complaint appears to be that we, frequently publish false or egregiously misleading claims about US elections and COVID 19 vaccines.

That’s a very strange lede, given that what we’ve published about vaccines has turned out to be as true.

I can only assume that the other venues for information peddled as news – especially in New Hampshire – did better than we did, given that most of them have yet to report anything honest about the Vaccines even after the CDC, FDA, and other agencies have admitted to issues that are costing us points. But, I would like to thank NewsGuard for making my job easier. If they have rated local and regional media, we can look at those numbers and know where to dig deeper.

One of my projects this year is to expose them for failing to challenge the truth about the covid response, especially vaccines.

So, this is good for us, yes? It is. A self-proclaimed third party with suspect funding and ties to the government has decided we aren’t toeing establishment uni-party lies.

As for elections, the funny thing is that, as we just reported how, the state’s chief elections and law enforcement agencies have admitted, in writing, to evidence of gross negligence by election officials (in 2020 and 2022) whose failure to follow multiple election laws compromised integrity, and election results.

I’m not sure where else in the 75+ NewsGuard rating universe you are likely to find that, but if I had to guess, it’d be nowhere, which goes for the honest reporting about concerns over experimental injections that were given without full informed consent.

As if the climate cult needed fuel for its wildfire narrative, Quebec lit up like a Christmas tree in June Last year. We showed satellite images of multiple fires starting almost simultaneously under a clear sky (so not lightning strikes). Not lighting. Not Climate change. Brian Paré.

Bri-Bri made the case online that the government set those fires, and given how Prime Minister ‘Troo-doh!’ is always looking for a climate axe to grind, why not? “[Paré] repeatedly posted conspiracy theories suggesting the fires had been set by the government in an attempt to coerce the public into believing in climate change.” But there are plenty of examples of climate cultists starting fires (or derailing trains) to create environmental catastrophes, not on the scale of minorities and hate hoaxes or consenting college girls crying rape the next day, but the scope of these less frequent events is typically greater.

“On May 31 at 8:30 pm, the town of Chapais issued a mandatory evacuation order due to the raging fires, in particular the fire at Lake Cavan as well as the airport fire, two fires that are included in the charges and were caused by the accused,” [Prosecutor Marie-Phillippe] Charron stated.

We reported on Canadian forest fires last summer. You couldn’t avoid it. The smoke had converted the airspace over US cities to match the gloomy dystopian reality on the ground (after decades of Democrat rule). A week into the alleged man-caused climate disaster, it was obvious men were involved more directly. “In the past months, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have arrested several arsonists who have been charged with lighting fires across several provinces, including Nova Scotia, Yukon, British Columbia, and Alberta. The motive behind lighting the fires is unclear. One Albertan, John Cook, has been arrested and charged with 10 counts of arson after setting a string of wildfires in and around Cold Lake, a hamlet near Edmonton.”

Paré (Brian) pleaded guilty “to 13 counts of arson and one count of arson with disregard for human life at a courthouse in Chibougamau, Quebec on Monday. Two further charges of breaking and entering, and causing a public nuisance have been conditionally suspended.” That’s fourteen fires on him, to which he has copped. There may be more to which he has not.

Those wild fires were man-made but not the way the Climate fearmongers would prefer. Fires set by arsonists are a product of the culture, not the climate. Some people just want to see the woods burn.

You guys do not make this easy. Another great week of comment content and the addition of a few new names I don’t recall seeing or seeing in a while. Thanks for reading and engaging not just the content but each other.

We did have some intrigue last week. I received emails challenging whether certain First Amendment exercises were unconscionable and, therefore, not protected speech. After review, the alleged offenses were deemed protected. That will piss someone off, no doubt, but I can’t help how you feel, and I won’t delete content or ban someone unless there is a clear incitement to violence or explicit threats against a person or group.

Trolls don’t get that consideration, for the record, nor does the inappropriate or excessive reliance on the use of “adult language.” No porn, obviously, with rare exceptions related to the current debate of age-appropriate material in schools and libraries. When possible, we will edit out the offense and not the speaker, but repeat offenses could get you the boot in part for wasting our time.

I was also asked about why someone got banned for something while others with perhaps an opposing opinion were not. I didn’t ban them so that one is still under investigation – I’m waiting on them for more details.

This isn’t rocket science—attack issues, not people.

And, as a side note, I have a lot of emails left to sort and several submitted op-eds to review. If you sent a piece, it is likley waiting for me to get to it.

Comment of the Week

Many a great remark we shared last week, and I am seeing longer and more involved debates on some posts, which is exactly what we want. I apologize for not being nearly as engaged as many of our authors, but I find myself overly busy, and since we missed our fundraising target for 24, I am pulling in other work to make up the difference. If you’d like to help us reach the goal this year, you know what to do.

I pulled at least two dozen great comments to review for last week, but as you all know, there can be only one.

Ian (deliberately, I think) misses the point. This constitutional amendment is a direct attack on the incorrect Claremont supreme court decision from the 90’s. That decision said that “cherish” meant “pay for”. He is right that it never did, but that’s not what they said. This is the subtle way to kick them in the pants to changing that ruling, without having to reprint the constitution. Of course, it will never pass because so many D’s love dem an adequate education, but at least we can get the issue percolating again. The real bit I think you should consider is what was the 1784 meaning of “public schools”. Might it be the current British meaning of the phrase, i.e. what we now call private schools? [I will, of course, be using Ian’s point about “and” as part of the argument to reinterpret “cherish”. As inigo Montoya said, “You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.” ]

There were plenty of other comments as good, but Dan’s unique take on this issue intrigued me. “The real bit I think you should consider is what was the 1784 meaning of “public schools.”

I’d not seen it or heard it (and maybe I missed it elsewhere), so thanks to Ian for inspiring Dan to write it – Ian, as always, has a lot of keen insights on this and other issues. And isn’t that what this is all about? Conversations that allow debate move the needle in our minds to a perspective we’d not yet considered.

I think it is. That’s what I want to build here and we’ve always had a great foundation to rise from.

Congrats to Dan, and since we’re halfway through this week, I need to start looking for the next winner.

In a remarkable segment of the FOX News coverage of the New Hampshire Primary, Charles Payne went off on Democrat pundit Jessica Tarloff on the divisiveness of Joe Biden and the Democrat message. Payne is a brilliant business and political analyst and is a Black man.

On Tuesday night, in an emotional moment, Payne set Tarloff straight on the difference between Trump taking on individuals like DeSantis and Haley and the President of the United States denigrating half of the country by calling them MAGAs in a derogatory manner. MAGA is an acronym coined by Donald Trump to denote his Make America Great Again movement. Biden has taken the term MAGA and twisted it to describe the demonic, Nazi-like, radical, white supremacist followers of Donald Trump who are anti-American and a danger to Democracy.

As a man who grew up knowing the racism Charles Payne experienced as a black child in New York, he dispelled the notion that Trump is a racist and minimized his personality that takes on opponents with terse terms versus Biden labeling half the country as disgusting human beings. His claim is the vitriol that Biden spews is far more damaging to the country. I could not agree more and have written about it often.

But aside from this uncharacteristic emotional outburst, Charles is a numbers guy, and the results of the 2024 NH Primary are a numerologist’s playground. New Hampshire has a unique voter demographic where the largest block of registered voters identify as Independent. There are roughly 303,000 Democrats, 299,000 Republicans, and 400,000 Unafiliated or Independents registered to vote in the Granite State. NH allows Independents to vote in the Primary on the Party ballot of choice and then change their affiliation back to Independent after voting. It makes predicting elections very difficult in New Hampshire as you need to identify the trend of 400,000 voters that can go either way. The Independents played a significant role in Tuesday’s results.

I covered in a previous article why Joe Biden did not appear on the Democrat ballot, and he won the Democrat race on the wings of a successful write-in campaign, though the Democrat vote count was suppressed. There were over 300,000 Republican votes cast and only 96,000 Democrat votes. There was evidence of many Independents casting their vote for Nikki Haley, but their vote was more Anti-Trump than Pro-Haley. This Independent movement accounted for the closer-than-expected margin of victory for Trump. Many polls had Trump up by 20-30 percent over Haley, and the actual margin was closer to 12%.

This anomaly makes it difficult to analyze the results of New Hampshire to predict future primary election results in upcoming states like South Carolina and Nevada. The Southern NH counties, which tend to be more Liberal, were within the 10-15% range for Trump, and Haley actually won the Western Strafford county. The Northern Coos county, which tends to be more traditionally Conservative, gave Trump a 30% margin.

The write-in victory for Biden and the Independent votes for Trump shows the power of the Democrat machine. The Republicans will not only have to beat Biden at the ballot box in November but simultaneously fight off the Leftist ground game. It will be a battle for Trump and the Republicans to win, but the stakes require our best effort.
