Every time we turn around, it seems, sex is thrown into our faces. As adults, most of us can handle that (well, except for those for whom sex and their own overblown believe in its importance in other peoples lives, I guess) in either tuning in or tuning out such messages and displays. And we can and do have our opinions of whether they are appropriate or not. When it comes to our kids, most Normal people say “leave them alone” but the sex-charged “I AM only that sex/gender I Believe I AM” crowd just can’t stop yammering about it. Especially in schools, in kids’ entertainment, and on social media. Don’t believe me?
Let’s get started with more of the Stack of Stuff and as always, stuff gets reformatted and emphasis is mine): the changing of our Culture
Thanks to smartphones and iPads, it’s also now readily available to kids. There’s an increasing presence of people and characters that pop culture refers to as “transgender” in the entertainment industry, aimed at drawing in younger audiences and normalizing gender confusion and gender intervention treatment…[Taylor] Swift, who has supported Democratic politicians and is pro-LGBT rights, features a transgender model in one of her upcoming music videos, which was spotted by activists when she released this video mashup.
The video itself hasn’t been released yet, but in one scene, Swift is gently rubbing Laith Ashley’s bare back in bed. LGBT activists have already applauded Swift for featuring a transgender model, especially as an object of desire. Just that clip has inspired promotional posts about Ashley’s life and transition. This is one subtle example, which most people would not have noticed were it not for the fact that Ashley was already a well-known model, at least among activists.
Normalizing transgender people in entertainment is sometimes not so subtle. One of the most popular apps for teenagers is TikTok. A simple search will show hundreds of trans users discussing their lifestyles, gender confusion, treatment, transitions, and more. They aren’t shy about it, and articles like this one on “Today” rave about them under the guise that they are informing, teaching, and educating. “Being myself, showing up, taking up space and letting people know we exist will slowly change culture,” a transgender TikTok user said in the article.
…All of these YouTubers are charming and fun, and their videos are exciting and even informative, which may be why young girls are drawn into the videos and eventually, the LGBT lifestyle and specifically the normalization of the transgender lifestyle.
…It doesn’t start or end with teenagers. In fact, the quest to normalize the transgender lifestyle begins very early in the entertainment industry. The new “Muppet Babies” series featured an episode, “Gonzo-rella,” where the male Muppets character attends a princess ball wearing a dress, because the child didn’t want to go in “boys’ clothes.” When the character’s friends realizes who it is, they all discuss how kind it is to let people wear what they want and be themselves.
The problem with such shows featuring such blatant LGBT-friendly characters targeted at kids is that it normalizes the transgender lifestyle for children, and often that’s not age-appropriate, especially if the show highlights overtly sexual content, which often goes hand in hand with the lifestyle.
But Parents are fighting back, like these folks:
…Parents opposed to woke indoctrination in schools are organising. They may even prove to be a decisive force in the elections. Parents Unite, set up by New England mothers Ashley Jacobs and Jean Egan, is one of many groups to have emerged in the past couple of years. It brings together parents, teachers and academics concerned with what children are being taught in America’s independent schools. Having grown quickly, the group held its second annual conference in Boston last week, which I was invited to attend. What became clear from listening to the stories of parents was a growing sense of anger that children are being corralled into uncritically accepting highly contested and political ideas. This is an experience common to every type of school, public and independent alike, across the US.
Many of the parents I spoke to talked about lockdown and ‘Zoom school’ as having been pivotal in making them more aware of what their children were being taught. They say they witnessed lessons that push children to see America as a uniquely sinful country, forged solely out of racial discrimination. Parents say that this stepped up a notch in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death in the summer of 2020, when suddenly a great deal of the school day was taken up by Black Lives Matter activism. A similar story emerges in relation to teaching about sex and gender. Parents are unhappy at the prospect of sending their daughter to school, only for her to return home questioning whether she might actually be a boy. In addition, there is concern that sex education introduces children to provocative and hyper-sexualised content at far too young an age.
And Parents are having effects on school boards, especially on pornographic books found in their child’s Public School libraries:
On Monday, a Michigan school board finalized a controversial vote to remove a graphic novel from a high school library. Parents on the Spring Lake Public School Board decided that a book about gender and sexuality, which included graphic illustrations, was too explicit for high school students.
And this book is ALSO found in school libraries that serve younger children as well.
The book in question was a memoir titled “Gender Queer” by Maia Kobabe. The graphic novel is described as a “useful and touching guide on gender identity.” Those on the school board who voted to remove the comic book noted that they did not take issue with the LGBTQ+ themes, but they did find the comic illustrations showing graphic sexual content inappropriate for young audiences. The school board’s decision reversed a previous decision by the district’s Material Review Committee in May to keep the book available to high school students…
Most stores (pharmacies, grocery, convenience, et al) that used to have similar materials used to put brown paper wrappers around such “adult” magazines – now school librarians, arguing for “marginalized communities”, think it is perfectly fine to use our money to “porn-ify” and desensitize our children to its effect. Hey, EVERY body is just a sex object to be played with, right?
Oh wait, wasn’t that part of why the Feminist movement started – to stop womens’ objectification?
So now our schools do it to children instead. Using comic books – I’m no longer accepting the term “graphically illustrated” except that they are – VERY graphic. And yes, they use our money with which to do it and with the flood of Federal money, we Parents can’t even track it via our school boards:
With federal funds, state health departments are pushing queer curricula on schools as sex education, often bypassing school boards.
Federal grants are funding the interest groups spearheading efforts to “queer” education around the country. These groups are hijacking laws with sensible-sounding aims and attempting to create revolutionary changes in sexuality.
Federal programs such as the Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) and Title V Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) funnel money to state health and welfare departments. Seeing that there is money to be captured, education nonprofits such as Education, Training and Research (ETR), Planned Parenthood, and others develop curriculum and training to deliver the “prevention” programs. Then state health and welfare departments bypass state departments of education and local school boards by providing these curricula to public health agencies, which then provide “sex ed” curriculum directly to schools.
These nonprofits push the theory that sexual repression is to blame for sexually transmitted diseases and unintended pregnancy and they hold that greater and earlier openness about sexuality and more inclusivity will prevent all evils. Their curricula encourage sexualizing children as a preventive measure. They believe they occupy the moral high ground: opposing their sexualization of children means encouraging disease, suicide, and unwanted pregnancy.
In other words, Parents who are trying to protect the innocence of their young children are to portrayed as evil and children are to be taught to not pay attention to them.
ETR provides a case study for how this perverse federalism works. ETR’s Reducing the Risk curriculum promises to teach abstinence, but instead delivers a Planned Parenthood-endorsed “LGBTQ inclusive” curriculum that queers education with an emphasis on “gender identity, sexual orientation and behavior.” ETR advocates for teaching elementary students “porn literacy” and shows teachers how to teach “kink and power, pleasure, sexual identity, sexual acts and sexual exploration in relation to pornography.” It also delivers an “LGBTQ centered” curriculum that takes sex education beyond condoms to dental dams, sex toys, and perilous transgender radicalism.
Nearly every state agency that has accepted SRAE and PREP funds has purchased ETR’s curriculum. ETR’s new LGBTQ-centered program, developed with Planned Parenthood, is already operating in 16 states.
And school systems are making it MANDATORY that their staffs participate in this indoctrination at the risk of loosing their jobs like this teacher:
…School districts, despite the national backlash coming from parents, remain intent on indoctrinating young children into far-leftist ideas on race, sexuality, and gender identity. Parents taking issue with this movement have been demonized as bigots for refusing to allow this conditioning to take place. But even teachers have been under the proverbial gun – especially those who resist efforts to force them to inculcate their students with these radical ideas.
A school district in California fired a teacher allegedly because she refused to read books about same-sex marriage to young students between the ages of one and five years old. The Thomas More Society filed a religious discrimination lawsuit against Bright Horizon, a national childcare company. The suit also alleges harassment and retaliation. The educator, named Nalli Parinsenkova, worked at the Studio City location for four years before being terminated. The lawsuit alleges that after the director of this location discovered the teacher’s Christian beliefs, she “enforced company policy requiring all teachers to support and promote celebrations of ‘diversity’ including same-sex marriage to children in the care program.”
The educator claims the director harassed her and had security remove her from the premises “like a dangerous criminal.” The director then fired her after she requested that she not be required to read these books to students because of her religious convictions…In April 2022, the director, who is a lesbian, found out Parinsenkova was a Christian and reported her to human resources. She took “personal offense” at the teacher’s beliefs according to the filing.
Which means that Normal Parents who find out about this in their child’s school have to follow that great tag line that Project Veritas has: Be Brave – DO something! Otherwise, you’ve lost. Make no mistake, the LGBT adherents in schools will wage war with you over the control of your children. They DEPEND on the fact that you’re too scared to fight back:
If there is one thing progressives need in order to succeed in their effort to promote transgenderism as a normal and acceptable part of young life, it is ignorance of the fact that it is happening in the first place. But another boon to the pro-trans-ing kids crowd is for sane Americans to be too afraid to oppose them publicly when they are made aware of the movement.
Indeed, the hard left knows it cannot possibly keep its machinations under wraps as they have in the past. Before the COVID-19 pandemic became a thing, school districts were already injecting so-called progressive ideas regarding gender identity and sexuality without parents knowing. It was only when children were forced to learn from home that parents discovered what teachers were presenting to their children.
One of the ways progressives have pushed back against the inevitable backlash is to cow people into remaining silent on the issue. Indeed, they label people as “transphobes” and bigots. They emotionally blackmail parents and others into believing that if children are not allowed to receive “gender-affirming care,” which includes puberty blockers and even surgical treatments, their kids will end up committing suicide.
And we’re domestic terrorists (remember, when I asked, only one out of five of my school board members said that I wasn’t a domestic terrorist) inciting violence. You have to get to the point in believing in yourself and your ability to defend your kids. And what is more important than your kids? You’re brave enough to defend and protect them in other ways (like yanking them out of the way of speeding truck even though you know you will get hit by it, right?) – start standing up to these Crybullies!

In the latest episode of “Progressives Are Lying Liars When They Say They Aren’t Trying to Trans Your Kids,” we have a Pride festival in Wisconsin that engaged in the exact behavior that the left claims is not happening across the country. Participants in the event reportedly offered free “letters of readiness” to minor children who believe they are transgender to make it easier for them to undergo controversial and dangerous “gender-affirming” medical or surgical procedures.
This is yet another example demonstrating how far leftists are encouraging children – especially young girls – to embrace transgenderism and supposedly transition to the opposite sex. It is only a mirror of what is occurring in K-12 schools nationwide. The Post Millennial reported:
A family captured a snapshot of the booth set up by Integrated Counseling, LLC at the Annual Magic Pride Festival put on by the OutReach LGBTQ Community Center on Sunday in Madison, Wisconsin. The family permitted Chris Elston, known by most as “Billboard Chris,” to share it with his followers on Monday.
Elston noted that “Letters of Readiness for Surgery” were available at the festival, which was held in Madison, Wisconsin, “for those identifying as trans or non-binary.”
Integrated Counseling seeks to “provide a space for the LGBTQ+ community throughout Wisconsin to find room to pause, to be, and to heal,” according to its defunct website… The OutReach LGBTQ Community Center is a group that promotes transgenderism among children. It collects chest binders to give to females who believe they are males to conceal their breasts.
Distributing these letters of readiness for surgery is another pernicious way to push kids closer to accepting a transgender identity that they do not actually have. From the Post Millennial:
Yeah, go read the rest of it to see how that “Letter of Readiness for Surgery” works; it is disturbing. Remember, your kids could use it against you. The Left certainly hopes so. They are certainly helping this ROGD (Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria) syndrome to snowball – and it ain’t in the water:
Childhood gender dysphoria diagnoses soared 70% from 2020 to 2021, according to medical records of 330 million Americans analyzed by Komodo Health Inc, Reuters reported Thursday.
The findings reveal a massive uptick in gender dysphoria diagnoses for children aged 6 to 17, with at least 121,882 children receiving that diagnosis in the five years leading up to 2021, according to Reuters. While most children who are diagnosed with the disorder do not medically transition, the rate of children on puberty blockers more than doubled from 2017 to 2021 to just over 5,000.
The data aligns with other findings outlining the rapid rise in transgender identities among adolescents, but it’s less clear why the trend accelerated so rapidly in 2020. Some have attributed the youth transgender trend to social contagion, citing the popularity of trans videos on TikTok and other social media platforms, while others have pointed to school programming on gender identity issues for young children.
Too often, we on the Right are called Christian bigots when we complain about stuff like this. Our response is “you wouldn’t be dong this to Muslims, would you?”.

“Intersectionality” is a favorite lib word. It refers to the idea that there is a hierarchy of oppression, so that, for example, Native American women are more oppressed than homosexual white men. All of the allegedly oppressed groups ostensibly make up the liberal coalition, and liberals expect them to take their places in the pecking order.
This works, sort of, as long as everyone is on board. But as we have often seen, divisions often appear between allegedly allied groups. A particularly enjoyable instance of the collapse of intersectionality happened in Dearborn, Michigan, when hundreds of Muslim parents attended a school board meeting to protest homosexual porn in the public schools’ libraries. Megan Fox has the story:
[W]hen hundreds of Muslim parents, upset at gay porn in the school libraries, showed up to a school board meeting in Dearborn, Mich., and it devolved into shouting and chaos with board members running away and gay protesters being chased to their cars, the fallout was absolutely hilarious. The headline in the Detroit Free Press after the event went haywire was “LGBTQ and Faith Communities Struggle for Unity.” BAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Can you imagine what the headline would have been if it were a Baptist church chasing gay protesters to their cars? “Fascist White Supremacist Book Burners Bash Gay Man in Parking Lot,” or “Rabid Religious Zealots Terrorize Gay Man Defending Right to Read,” or something equally terrible. I don’t know about you, but I’m enjoying this disaster.

I guess they put the fear of Allah into them, didn’t they? And it all comes down to the “Lines of the Post”:
They are not “censoring” the millions of books they do not choose, they are privileging a few. Why, as these parents sensibly ask, should Dearborn’s school libraries single out gay porn for the rare honor of being chosen to educate the district’s children?
And that’s EXACTLY what this is – gay porn. Pornography for little kids. Adults distributing porn to children.
They put people in jail for this, don’t they? Oh yeah – the books got yanked (I have to find that post). Thank you, Muslim Parents for actioning “Be Brave – DO Something!”.
They got it done. OK, Christians, Jews, and others – your turn!

Yes, Kids – We’re Baaaaack!
The 168th Session of the General Court organized itself today in accordance with Part II, Article 3 of the NH Constitution.
So what did we learn today?
We learned that it will be VERY, VERY important for all Republican Reps to be in their seats, and stay in their seats, for this session and any future sessions, in the House with our majority of 201R-198D.
We learned that after swearing in of all 391 House members present, we were able to elect Sherm Packard as our House Speaker by a vote of 205 to 184 (for Rep. Matt Wilhelm) plus 2 blank ballots. This meant that even some Democrats voted for Speaker Packard! We went on to vote unanimously for Paul Smith for House Clerk, and J.B. Cullen for Sergeant at Arms. Speaker Packard immediately appointed Rep. Jason Osborne to be the Republican majority Leader and Rep. Matt Wilhelm to be Minority Leader. Congratulations to all!
We learned that the lunch provided by the NH Humane Society was a vegan lunch, and the food ran out before all legislators got to the buffet. No animals were harmed for the meal that not everyone got a chance to eat. We really do thank NHHS for their generosity and their efforts, but perhaps this might portend that going vegan just might not solve the world hunger crisis.
We learned that Secretary of State, David Scanlan is well-liked and was handily re-elected over contender Sen. Melanie Levesque, by a huge margin of 237-175, with the Senate in joint session with the House. 413 votes were cast with 1 write-in and 0 blank ballots. It was noted that the nomination and second for Secretary Scanlan were bi-partisan, whereas his opponent’s nomination and second were made by Democrats only. That said a lot right there.
We learned that Monica Mezzapelle was re-elected unanimously by the joint session to be our NH State Treasurer. Both she and David Scanlan were sworn in together.
We learned that Rep. Wilhelm (D) was quick to make a motion to pass HR6 – calling for a special election in Rochester where David Walker (R) was in a tie race with Rep. Chuck Grassie (D). But Rep. Ross Berry (R) was just as quick to make a motion to table the House Resolution. Unfortunately, too many Republicans had either left for the day or were confused about how to vote, and the motion to Table failed 187 (Yes)-193 (No). In the end, the House voted to send the matter back to Rochester for a special election so that the voters can be annoyed during the Christmas holiday season with all sorts of robocalls and negative mailers, not to mention the extra added cost to taxpayers for said election. What was interesting was how totally unprepared Rep. Wilhelm was for the motion to Table to fail, as he came up to the well to continue his Ought to Pass motion on HR6. He uttered, “Well, I don’t know how to proceed. I really wasn’t expecting this result” (or words to that effect). In any case, Maj. Leader Osborne mentioned that in the first motion of the session there is bound to be some confusion and claimed it was a joint motion encouraging everyone to support the special election, which they ultimately did with a voice vote on the OTP motion. Additionally, we learned that the House could have just as easily proclaimed Walker the winner and seated him before all of this happened. Alas, that did not happen, and ultimately too many Republicans went AWOL for this vote in the afternoon. Lesson learned. Stay in your seat until the very end of every session from now on and pay attention.
We learned that from now on – and for this entire 2-year term – all eyes will be on our whips and our attendance lists. There’s gonna be a lot of head counting going on!

What if they identify as a person or a different animal? All you have to do is say so, and it must be true, but was that what the pet meant?
And what do you mean by gendered clothing?
Drag queens are men who dress up as garish caricatures of women, which is more than a micro-aggression if you think clothing is “gendered.” Why are there no drag queens who dress up like men? Why do they insist on gendered clothing, and why doesn’t that create subconscious or conscious distress?
Some adults decided, and if other adults disagree, call them bigots.
Very one-sided, and that applies to adults with children. A parent obsessed with gendering might decide to dress their boy up in the caricature of a girl because he looked sideways at a barbie doll once, but there’s no going back to a boy after that, is there? He can’t change his mind. And to ensure there is no going back, there are drugs and surgery, and anyone who thinks that might be a bit too permanent, given how fluid “gender” is supposed to be, is also an intolerant bigot.
Forget the risk of fissuring the microsubconcious. This would be the pet equivalent of Munchausen by proxy (and there are people out there who will yell at you for gennnnderrrrring a pet).
But wait. There is no gender except the one you decide based on what you want the signals to mean, right?
Here’s another one. If gender is fluid, then you might create subconscious distress by improperly perceiving your pet’s final form (or a child’s), even if there can be no definitive form.
Anything you do projects your perception or will onto their subconscious, based on your biased interpretations – and how is that not worse than what you insist is the proper view?

Hello Dr. XXXXXXX, My name is John Cawthron. I am your patient and had an eye exam scheduled for Monday, December 5th at 8:00 AM. I arrived at Nashua Eye Associates around 7:50 AM. Upon entry, I was approached by an attendant who told me that I had to put a mask on.
I informed the attendant that I would not put a mask on as they served no useful purpose. I was informed that unless I put a mask on, I would not receive service. I then instructed the attendant to cancel my appointment, and I left.
It has been well established in study after study that masks are USELESS in stopping the transmission of viral pathogens such as influenza and corona virus, which are transmitted via airborne aerosol particles of 1 – 62 microns in size. The masks that we are being told to wear have openings of 80 to 500 microns in size. Those openings DO NOT decrease in size if a person dons multiple masks. Please take the time to watch the video below. It depicts the deficiencies of masking in a concise and to-the-point presentation.

I am one of many that will no longer submit to the tyranny thrust upon us by the medical establishment since March of 2020. It is time for people to stand up and say NO to the continued madness of the COVID cult. I invite you and your colleagues to join us.
If it is the position of yourself and/or Nashua Eye Associates (NEA) that “We are just following what is recommended by the CDC or FDA”, then you would do well to familiarize yourself with other deadly recommendations of the CDC such as the COVID protocols for hospitalization listed below.
This CDC protocol, which was followed by most of the medical establishment, lead to the needless deaths of hundreds of thousands of patients who could have been saved via earlier intervention with inhaled steroids, Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, etc. Interventions that the CDC & FDA recommended not be used. In my opinion, following the above protocol was a criminal act.
The CDC & FDA also have recommended that everyone be given the EUA authorized and never fully tested mRNA injections including giving them to pregnant women and children. This was an ethical and moral crime if not outright murder. The death rates for 2019 – 2020 are virtually the same. The death rate began to skyrocket in February 2021 with the massive rollout of the CDC & FDA approved, but NEVER fully tested, mRNA injections. The death rate continues to climb as does the incidence of aggressive cancers, still births, miscarriages, sudden adult and child deaths, the rates of myocarditis, etc.
As per the Life Insurance industry, in the US, “All cause mortality for the 18 – 64 age group” has gone up 40% since the mRNA injections rolled out. This has NEVER happened before. Not in wartime, not during the Spanish Flu epidemic, NEVER.

It is possible that you and your fellow practitioners have not encountered this to date, but reported cases of aggressive optical cancers have risen as well. The reason that I mention everything above is due to the fact that I assume that NEA is using the pretext of “Following the CDC Guidance” in the enforcement of NEA’s “Wear a mask or you will not be seen” policy. If the past two+ years has shown us anything, it is, that the CDC & FDA are no longer organizations that can be trusted when it comes to providing medical advice. In fact, the CDC should be ignored outright regarding COVID, vaccinations and medical treatment in general.
As with the criminals that enacted all previous crimes against humanity, when the reckoning comes for all who participated in the COVID debacle comes, saying “I was just following orders” or “I was just following the CDC Guidelines” will not suffice as an excuse for partaking in these crimes.
It is well established that COVID-19 has an overall survival rate of 99.98% and is NOT A HEALTH THREAT to any healthy adult or child.
It is an immoral, unethical and cowardly act for NEA to withhold treatment because a person will not submit to wearing a mask that:
I would hope that, based on the facts at hand, that NEA drop the mask mandate at all of their locations. Failure to do so will prevent patients from receiving care and continue the propagation of a blatant falsehood.
For those amongst us that want to mask up, by all means, they should do so. After all, if their masks work, then based on their own logic, they are protected. For the rest of us, let us make our own health decisions, just as we all were doing prior to the madness that began in March 2020.

The rising bull sh!t CO2 in the atmosphere is supposed to multiply the “frequency, intensity, and duration” of hurricanes,” but the planet has again determined that this is nonsense. The Models are wrong, and there is zero evidence in this graph which, when updated for 2022, will show even less evidence.

Two school-related stories have been popping up for me to keep up with them – time to take them off my stack of stuff and get them to you folks. It’s amazing how the Edu-Industrial Complex hates Parents.
I just have to wonder what the redefinition of the redefinition of the definition of the word “involved” is. That’s what we hear all the time – that schools want “involved parents,” but when parents start to get involved, problems start. No, it’s not because of the Parents – it seems to be when parental self-interest for their children is at odds with what School Boards and staff don’t want parents messing with. It always comes down to “who should be in charge of the kids: schools or parents?”
And sometimes it’s the Board, elected to manage Districts by Parents, that don’t want to really deal with Parents:
The North Clackamas School District in Oregon is only the latest in a long string of districts where parents have grown fed up with the school’s woke leftist policies being approved by the school board. Parents have been showing up for school board meetings with a list of grievances over inappropriate, sexualized material in the schools, gender-bending indoctrination, and policies intended to keep secrets from parents regarding their children’s development. After one recent meeting, the board decided to respond, but not by addressing the parents’ concerns. They instead announced that all future meetings would be held “online,” depriving the parents of the opportunity to be heard. As a result, the school is now losing more students and the board members may face the possibility of being removed from their positions. (American Wire)
Oregon’s North Clackamas School District has decided to take the coward’s way out and move board meetings online after parents voiced outrage over LGBTQ+ content being taught in school as academic performance tanks. A Department of Education report has evidently revealed that while woke, sexualized policies are being pushed in the classroom, students are not doing well in their academics.
On October 27 of this year, parents attended a school board meeting and complained about the school curriculum. They also accused the district of trying to keep parents in the dark over various issues, according to KATV.
In response, some of the school board members attempted a move taken straight from the usual leftist playbook, accusing the parents of homophobia. Unfortunately for them, one of the mothers who identified herself as part of the LGBTQ community said, “It isn’t homophobic or transphobic to believe that children should not be sexualized or mutilated under the guise of the LGBT umbrella.” Ouch.
Cowards. If you can’t stand the heat in the “elected kitchen,” resign. Just resign. You are to be responsible to constituents and not run away from them. And once the Board started to throw the homophobia card, the rest of us know that “they’ve got nuttin” as far as a rational argument and defense of their policies go.
And the other tactic when Parents start to criticize what’s going on is to blame them for violence. Yep, criticizing anything of the Left is tantamount for calling for physical violence. Our reaction should be to simply laugh at them:
People on the Left are accusing conservatives of inciting violence by attacking gender activists. Criticisms of “drag queen story hours,” teachers who recruit children to secret communities for gay and transgender students, librarians for putting pornography aimed at children in school libraries abound. I and others point out the obvious: what they are doing is exhibiting all the behaviors of sexual groomers, recruiting children to participate in sexualized activities inappropriate for their age. They encourage children to “transition,” get mutilating surgeries, sterilize themselves, and perform sexualized shows for adults.
Is our criticism of these activities inciting violence? And if so, is that criticism unacceptable?
…With that out of the way, let’s get down to facts and arguments: there is actually no vast expansion of violence being aimed at transgender people. It is simply not there in the statistics.
The murder rate for transgender-identified people is actually lower than the national average. The epidemic of hate and violence toward transgendered folks is a myth. I would expect that they, as with any group outside the mainstream, get more than their share of nasty words thrown at them, but violence and murder? The evidence is not there.
According to the Williams Institute at UCLA there are 1.6 million people who identify as transgender in the United States. The Human Rights Campaign claims that 57 people who are transgender were murdered last year. The murder rate in the US is 6.52 people per hundred thousand. Hence the expected number of murders out of a population of 1.6 million would be 104, or almost twice as many people as identified by the HRC.
Thousands of children who…were assigned female at birth have sought gender-affirming care in recent years. And for reasons not well-understood, they significantly outnumber those assigned male at birth who seek treatment…
Professionals in the gender-care community agree that treatment of all transgender children should be supportive and affirming. The question, for some, is whether peer groups and online media may be influencing some of these patients to pursue medical transition, with potentially irreversible side effects, at a time in their lives when their identities are often in flux.
Corey Basch, a professor of public health at William Paterson University in New Jersey who researches health communication and teens’ use of social media, said she fears that some adolescents are susceptible to making faulty self-diagnoses without adequate input from medical professionals. “Teens are so incredibly vulnerable to information overload and being pushed in one direction,” Basch said. “They could be lacking the analytical skills to question who is giving this advice and if their advice is valid.”
Adolescents assigned female at birth initiate transgender care 2.5 to 7.1 times more frequently than those assigned male at birth, according to the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), a 4,000-member organization of medical, legal, academic and other professionals. Several clinics in the United States told Reuters that among their patients, the ratio was nearly 2-to-1, and similar phenomena have been documented in Europe, Canada and Australia.
…In its new Standards of Care, published in September, WPATH acknowledged for the first time that “social influence” may impact an adolescent’s gender identity. The organization recommends that youths undergo an in-depth evaluation in part so that clinicians “can discern between a person’s gender identity that is marked and sustained and an identity that might be socially influenced,” according to Dr Eli Coleman, director of the University of Minnesota Medical School’s Institute for Sexual and Gender Health who oversaw the update of WPATH’s guidelines.
As I have said before, “misgendering” isn’t a “thing” except for those who wish to control your speech. They want to shut you down, and this behavior is WORSE when it is a government official. And this is what happens when School Board members go Woke – and we’re right back to the nitwittery that “words are Violence”:
A Rhode Island elected school board official involved in promoting a diversity, equity, and inclusion agenda in the district, recently came under fire for claiming that intentionally “misgendering” someone is an “act of violence” that “needs to be dealt with accordingly.”. Jennifer Lima, elected member of the North Kingstown School Committee, shared a social media post from an activist group on November 12 that read, “Purposefully misgendering students is an act of violence. Respond accordingly.”
My “respond accordingly is to laugh at the person hurling that slur at me. Like “assault weapon,” it’s only purposes are to:
And if you ignore all that, her response is “…she believes appropriate responses to someone using the wrong pronoun included “investigating and disciplining such occurrences in the same way as any other biased-based assault.”. And guess who does the investigation and (to use the proper word) punishment (fees, fines, and/or jail)? Yep, Government.
“Her public call for students to ‘respond accordingly’ to non-existent violence is her own tacit call to violence against those who oppose her radical ideology,” Solas continued. “She creates a hostile, paranoid school environment where violence is now more likely to happen thanks to her hysterical message that danger lurks around every pronoun.”
…A study published in the scientific journal Plos One surveyed 256 parents whose children experienced rapid onset of gender dysphoria. The vast majority (86.7%) of adolescents either started spending more time online or were in a friend group with at least one other transgender person prior to identifying as transgender, according to the study.

A Texas mother, frustrated by her school board’s reluctance to remove books with graphic sexual content from school libraries, found an embarrassing technique for getting board members and the public to pay attention. Her unusual method may have hastened the removal of one objectionable book from shelves and brought the issue of sexual content in school libraries to the attention of social media viewers worldwide…The video shows Shannon Ayres reading from the book, “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” at a board meeting of the Frisco Independent School District on Nov. 16.
In the clip, Ayres takes her spot at the podium during public comment and begins reading a passage from the book found in the library of at least one district high school. The excerpt graphically describes a young girl protesting and crying as a boy forces her to perform oral sex…Off-camera, a school board trustee can be heard talking over her as Ayres’ microphone is turned off at the end of her comment period.
“Thank you. Your time is up. Thank you so much. There’s a child in our boardroom, so I’d like for you to please stop reading that,” board president Rene Archambault interrupts, drawing loud complaints from the audience…The irony of Archambault’s comment seems to amaze viewers—that a school library book is too graphic to be presented in front of children.
In their library, sure. Read at the meeting of those who are supposed to manage that District, including its libraries, nope. Next school board meeting, I’m going to do the same thing.
And back to what started this Stack of Stuff – CRT, Critical Race Theory:
Faculty at the University of California–Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law have created a database to identify and record efforts to block critical race theory (CRT) being taught in schools across the country. The database, called the CRT Forward Tracking Project, allows users to “track attacks on critical race theory” and filter the information as part of an effort to “support anti-racist education, training and research,” according to the school.
CRT, according to the school, is “the study of systemic racism in law, policy and society,” and suggests efforts need to be made to fix these alleged injustices. Meanwhile, critics say CRT pushes a controversial worldview related to Marxism that analyzes all aspects of life through a racial lens instead of through the concept of class struggle.
UCLA Law announced earlier this month it would track anti-CRT activity through the database at all levels of government across the nation.
“The project was created to help people understand the breadth of the attacks on the ability to speak truthfully about race and racism through the campaigns against CRT,” said Taifha Natalee Alexander, project director of CRT Forward, in a statement.
Can you say “lying through your teeth”? Don’t know what it is? Short version I’ve seen in schools: White are bad and are the Oppressors. Minorities, especially Black, are good but are Oppressed. Marxism sideways – instead of wealth, the Marxist lens is now focused on one of the sorest points of American history: racism. And throw in Saul Alinsky’s axiom to “rub it raw” to create animosity between groups that otherwise were fine to split us all apart.
Transgressive activists are seeking to manipulate and pervert children into sexual identities in order to undermine Western values, institutions, and norms, according to Daily Wire editor emeritus Ben Shapiro. Shapiro delivered a speech at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, on Tuesday night. The focus of Shapiro’s speech was identifying and countering the ideology of leftists using education and entertainment to groom children into embracing sexualized identities and lifestyles: transgressivism. Shapiro first explained the ideology in depth earlier Tuesday in an op-ed in The Daily Wire.

Transgressivism treats both behavior and desire as immutable characteristics, like race or sex, thus removing freedom or responsibility,” the conservative commentator continued. The removal of responsibility, and thus purpose, has generally left people feeling aimless, empty, and depressed.
Transgressivism seeks the destruction of Western values, institutions, and norms because they are seen as corruptive influences that constrain and warp one’s true identity, which lies in pure animalistic freedom and desire. Transgressive identities have not just become normalized in society. Large swaths of the Democratic Party, the legacy media, academia, and corporate America are celebrating them, and, conversely, punishing those who criticize them.
Transgressivism has spread with the aid of three factors: the decline of religious practice, the advance of science and easy birth control, and the spread of a belief that traditions and values must be explained “tabula rasa” without an appeal to ancient custom. To further their ideology, the transgressives’ chief target to remake society is children, according to Shapiro.
U.S. citizens’ opinions are turning increasingly negative toward the transgender movement, according to a poll conducted by Christian nonprofit Summit Ministries. In an interview with NTD’s “Capitol Report,” Jeff Myers, president of Summit Ministries, pointed out that people are thinking about the transgender movement as a voting issue.
“And some of it is because the president made it a voting issue. He said, ‘We ought to support every minor when they want to have procedures done,’ pharmaceutical surgery, whatever. And he seemed to be indicating that he supports this at any age with no restrictions. A lot of people in America disagree with that,” Myers said.
“We are doing a lot of polling just to understand the cultural moment. And 75 percent of people in our most recent poll say they believe the transgender movement has gone too far.”
Myers believes that people oppose the transgender movement mainly due to its support of actions such as “mutilating kids.” There are 70 Planned Parenthood clinics offering cross-sex hormones and puberty-blocking drugs to children, many of them being offered without seeking parental consent.
An Ohio school district is facing a lawsuit from a group of Muslim and Christian parents after allowing students to use bathrooms corresponding to their stated gender identity rather than their biological sex. America First Legal filed the federal lawsuit Tuesday on behalf of the parents against Bethel Local School District, located north of Dayton, accusing the district of violating the Title IX protections of students and infringing on parental rights.
According to the lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the Bethel school board adopted a new policy in January 2022 that allowed students to use bathroom facilities based on their gender identity. Previously, transgender students predominantly used a gender-neutral bathroom, according to the lawsuit.
The interfaith group of parents who sued Tuesday say the district is infringing on their ability to exercise their religious beliefs and to direct the upbringing of their children by forcing them to conform to the district’s policy favoring transgender students. The lawsuit also says the district has violated Title IX and Ohio law by implementing the policy. Gene Hamilton, the general counsel at America First Legal, told the Washington Examiner that school district officials like those in Bethel “are actively destroying fundamental rights in ways that would have been unthinkable just 10 years ago.”
“Generations of Americans have grown up in environments that have unquestionably respected students’ personal privacy in intimate spaces, separated by biological sex,” Hamilton said. “Boys are boys, girls are girls, and every student has the right to privacy in intimate spaces that has been enjoyed by every single generation of students before them. We are proud to fight for our clients in this important area.”
Since the policy has been in place, the lawsuit claims that the children of the plaintiffs have felt uncomfortable using the bathroom at school and have resorted to “hold[ing] their urine and avoid[ed] using the restroom at school if at all possible.”

My first job as an engineering co-op I wrote a report and, in it, claimed to have solved the problem at hand. My draft got bled over by my boss and it got drilled into me that I cannot – CANNOT – use definitive language. This has become so ingrained to both my speaking and writing it sometimes annoys my wife who asks for a firm statement and my hedging is ingrained.
For Fausti, who has spent his entire life in government, to have used such definitive language when – looking at both history prior and after – he hedges, is vastly revealing to me. IIRC it was in 2022 he said something Covid-related and it was FULL of weasel words and hedging statements. He knows HOW to do it.

We do not get a chance to see Joe Biden questioned by the media folks who spend their days following our President and ensuring he is held accountable for his actions.
Because of this void in the “transparent” administration, we must rely on the President’s surrogates, especially his Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, to explain the workings of the White House and to answer questions.
This is not a perfect system, but we must rely on it to see behind the curtain.
There are two blaring issues why this system of communication is inadequate. The first is that Karine Jean-Pierre is not the right person for the job. The truth is, KJP is in her position because she checked off three boxes on the Diversity Checklist. She is a Black Gay Woman. Besides her diversity, she is inadequately equipped to serve as an effective Press Secretary. The other is the spineless White House Press Corp., Except for the FOX News journalists Peter Doocy and Jacqui Heinrich. No journalist will ever ask tough questions of Jean-Pierre or dare to ask a follow-up.
An example is what happened today during the White House Briefing. Joe Biden is going to Arizona today to celebrate a new chip manufacturing facility. KJP was asked if Biden would visit the Border while he was in a Border State. Rather than answer the question, she turned it around, saying, “what is more important is what the Republicans are going to do to solve the immigration system.” Nobody, not a soul, pressed her to answer the question posed to her. A terrible non-answer, but she got away with it.
As a second act, Biden was questioned while boarding Marine One to leave for Arizona. A reporter shouted, “Mr. President, why are you going to a Border State and not to the Border?” The President responded that a more critical situation was happening with the new factory than the Border. That is a cheap political answer, but with no follow-up, Biden wins the exchange. The obvious next question is, you will only be 200 miles from the Border. Can’t you visit the factory and the Border? Can’t you walk and chew gum as you tell us? That question was not asked.
You will not see Biden or his Border Czar, Harris, anywhere near the Border. If either of these Executive Branch members ever goes to the Border, the press/media will need to go, too. The mainstream media has done an excellent job of keeping the Border off the Prime-Time news cycle. That omission is precisely what the White House needs.
The other example is KJP being asked about the dump of info about the Biden Money Cartel from Elon Musk and Twitter. Karine says the White House will not respond because this information is old news and no longer pertinent. Oh, really? What you are calling “old news” is a story you have denied to exist for over two years. It cannot be both. If you claimed it never existed, and now it is in your face, how is that old news? It is fresh and damaging to the President, which is why he will not respond. She also disparages Twitter by claiming that hate and anti-Semitic content is rising. There is just no evidence this is true. This White House is the best at gaslighting the American people.
Most people see Karine dismissed soon, but the Press Corp has to start doing its job. They are supposed to uncover the facts. To do so, you have to ask tough questions. Give it a try. You might find it rewarding.

Protections the Constitution secures for all Americans in the Bill of Rights were denied the Japanese as President Roosevelt issued Executive Order 9066, essentially imprisoning 120,000 people in internment camps from 1942 to 1945, of which 2/3 were citizens. Today’s “suspension of civil liberties” has a precedent that was aimed at Japanese Americans during WWII. Only this time, we are at war with not just a bug but the “ones behind the bug.” The president suspended the individual inherent rights of all Americans. And Congress, with their silence, represents the president’s agenda, not ours.
Atrocious violations of civil rights then only affected the Japanese. Looking the other way was easy in the war climate. Japanese Americans became victims of illegal government action that took their natural inherent rights.
Executive Orders, again, have been the tool that violates American liberty today. They have activated a force operating over and above the law in a similar climate of fear as in WWII. The unvaccinated are the enemy of the state.
All Americans must realize that our Constitution was created to control the government, not our people. George Washington’s powerful words warn us: Government is not reason , it is not eloquence, it is like fire a dangerous servant and a fearful master.”

Yep, this “movement” is back. People have more wealth than they have need or want but are happy to encircle everyone else with wealth like theirs to be hoovered up by Government. No, they can’t seem to figure out how to spend it on themselves or for other “good motives”. They simply want to be relieved of their “burden” by having Government take it from them in taxes. I wrote about this years ago (2011) concerning the “Patriotic Millionaires” who were demanding exactly that as in “I have too much so take it from me because I can’t fund a library, a hospital, a museum, or any other “public good” on my own.” Please sirs, make me poorer!:
- You know how I can tell this is a Progressive idea, vs just “Patriotic Millionaires”? First, just look at some of the names on their list…Not exactly rock-ribbed conservatives in this bunch, eh? Also, the tactics:
- A collective mentality with an insistence that ALL pay – not just the willing. As Chris over at RightWingNews put it in playing at being a liberal: “Why should I pay more unless they force me to pay more?”. They simply wish to achieve the Progressive ideal of the top paying the entire freight for society’s bill of Government.
- No indication that the other side of the equation, spending, be addressed.
An unwillingness to “just do it” and send a check if they really felt this strongly about “be Patriotic – send money!”.
…”We want to pay more taxes,” said California millionaire Doug Edwards, a former marketing director for Google (GOOG, Fortune 500). “If you’re fortunate, and you make more than a million dollars a year, you ought to pay more taxes.” And the most stunning part – who was doing the organizing of these folks: “The Patriotic Millionaires campaign”, pulled together quickly by the Agenda Project in New York City,”. Once again, we meet up with Erica Payne (who said “This is not an orchestrated campaign”).
And it’s that last bit that shows how mean and revengeful Progressives are. “I should do THIS to myself. And I’ll make sure all others like me, like it or not, are forced to contribute”. Rather selfish, I’d say. However, that was back in 2011 and a lot of our culture has changed since then – the wrong way. We’ve been through the Social Justice Warrior schtick so now the younger generation doesn’t have to be dragooned into this, they’ve been marinating in this faux “justice” for years. And here is a GREAT act of stupidity – and laziness (reformatted, emphasis mine):

The surprising response from Marlene Engelhorn, of Austria, came after her grandmother died last month — leaving behind the massive sum of money that came from the family’s centuries-old chemical company (BASF).
“The dream scenario is I get taxed,” the 30-year-old told the New York Times. Last year, in a profile by Vice News, Engelhorn told the outlet in German that “nobody should have that much tax-free money and power.”
I’m betting she’s no fan of Elon Musk right now. Or Bezos (founder of Amazon and owner of the Washington Post). And it seems that the Patriotic Millionaires went worldwide in wanting to let other rich people make their own decisions:
Engelhorn is the co-founder of a group called Tax Me Now, an initiative of affluent people who want wealth to be redistributed through greater taxes on the rich in Germany and Austria. The heir specifically advocates for high taxes on inherited wealth because, she says, the money isn’t earned by the inheritor and should thus be democratically allocated.
Yeah, that last bit – socialism. Not content to figure out her own way to be poor (hey, just WRITE A ONE TIME CHECK TO THE GOVERNMENT, missy!), she wants Government to relieve her of that burden. And not content with that, she wants to drag everyone else along with her against their will. If this addled SJW with misbegotten ideas wants to put herself into the poor house, let her. That doesn’t mean that she should have the power to do that to others. As I seem to be saying, more and more, there are too many people who can’t keep their noses out of other peoples’ business.
I wonder how many people worked to have this done:

Here’s a perfect example of the beginning of a great Venn diagram. At least the school admins did the right thing and we need to thank them for it:
Duval County Public Schools has ended a 25-year relationship with a local LGBT youth organization citing “apparent inappropriate conduct.” Jacksonville Area Sexual Minority Youth Network (JASMYN) fell out of favor with the school district after a parent complained after seeing a social media post by the organization showing a minor participating in a lewd novelty card game. The post that raised concerns was about a JASYMN event called “Satargaze,” said Melissa Bernhardt, lead educator for the Duval County chapter of County Citizens Defending Freedom.
The memory game by Drunk Stoned or Stupid involves collecting matched pairs of images of male genitalia of varying sizes and skin colors. It can be found on web stores such as Amazon, and is marked with a disclaimer that it’s for players at least 18 years old.
“The district simply cannot partner with the organization given their use of program materials that the district believes to be inappropriate for use with children,” Duval County Superintendent Diana Greene wrote in a prepared statement released on Nov. 29. “Although JASMYN has been a partner to the district for over 20 years, providing support and resources for students, staff, and the community, we have decided to terminate our current services agreement with their organization.”
In an interview with News4Jax television station, JASMYN CEO Cindy Watson called the post a “regrettable mistake” but said the game was never available to minors.
“Regrettable” translates as “we got caught”. And don’t you just LOVE the framing on this, with JASYMN trying to portray themselves as “normal” (as in “let’s normalize porn and degeneracy”) by decrying Citizens Defending Freedom as “an overreaction to a far-right extremist website spreading inflammatory misinformation about our HIV prevention work with young adults,” . Yeah, you already admitted to it but you’re trying smear the folks that caught you? Man up – you did it and you deserve to lose the contract.
And now Parents are REALLY starting to push back in force. Note which “new” Religious group is now taking part. For years, the Left has “tossed” Christians around wantonly – a lack of fear. Let’s see what happens now:
Monday’s Dearborn Public Schools board meeting never made it as far as the public comment period. The agenda included a deeply contentious issue: the district’s policy for removing books from school libraries. The meeting was attended by an overflow crowd. Most were young men, some led by Muslim religious leaders— a contrast to the largely Christian groups that have led other efforts to restrict books in Michigan libraries. Some people at the Dearborn meeting held signs with anti-LGBTQ messages.
Many in the crowd were upset by one book in particular: “This Book is Gay,” by Juno Dawson. It’s a young adult non-fiction book on gender and sexuality. The book includes rough pencil drawings of male and female anatomy, which one group brought to the board meeting enlarged, on poster board, saying they were inappropriate for children.
The book was being reviewed for appropriateness by the school district after a parent objected. The parent also asked for the removal of five other books, which are also under review: Push; The Lovely Bones; Eleanor & Park; Red, White and Royal Blue; All Boys Aren’t Blue. Hundreds of protesters packed a Dearborn Public Schools board meeting this week and shut it down with cries of anger over certain LGBTQ books they said are too sexually explicit for children…

And this next thing is starting to “be a thing” – LGBT et al have a Right to porn in schools. Really? Haven’t seen that Article in the US or NH Constitution lately. But “civil rights” groups seem to believe it is. And I bet that NONE of them are Conservative:
A coalition of seven civil rights groups filed a complaint this week accusing two school districts in Texas of discriminating against transgender and “gender non-conforming” students.
…In the complaint filed Monday with the ED’s Office of Civil Rights, the groups claim that a policy at the Keller ISD that bans books that discuss “gender fluidity” violates Title IX, the federal civil rights legislation that prohibits schools that receive federal funds from discriminating on the basis of sex. The school district reportedly did this last week, according to The Hill.
“The effect of the policy, absent federal civil rights intervention, will be to stigmatize LGBTQ+ and particularly transgender, non-binary, gender diverse, and intersex students in Keller ISD, to uniquely deprive them of the opportunity to read books that reflect their identities, and to create an environment in which unlawful discrimination flourishes,” the complaint reportedly said.
And not once did I see in this post that normal kids have the right to see porn – just those that claim that their sexual identities and proclivities do. OH WAIT! The Left is always yammering about that sex and gender are different – so why are these groups trying to, against their ideological bents, push that identity politics? If they are using “sex”, are they trying to say that porn is only allowed to one of the two sexes (heh!)?
And great question next:
Earlier this year, a team of NHS researchers was asked to investigate why there has been such a huge rise in the number of adolescent biological girls seeking referrals to gender clinics. According to a study commissioned by NHS England, 10 years ago there were just under 250 referrals, most of them boys, to the Gender Identity Development Service (Gids), run by the Tavistock and Portman NHS foundation trust in London. Last year, there were more than 5,000, which was twice the number in the previous year. And the largest group, about two-thirds, now consisted of “birth-registered females first presenting in adolescence with gender-related distress”, the report said.
…The mother of one girl who came out as trans at the age of 12 said it was “very difficult to describe the feeling of being the parent of a trans-identified child”. “We were terrified of being accused of being bigoted,” said the woman, who asked to remain anonymous to protect her child’s privacy. “We felt we were expected to accept her decision unhesitatingly. I felt so apologetic that I was questioning whether my miserable teenage daughter was genuinely a boy,” she said.
And the fear is real – the TransActivists are very militant and are very loud and demanding. Using the argument of “would you want a dead daughter or a live son?” is fear inspiring and promises retribution forever against parents who aren’t willing to have their pre- or early-teen start in taking off-brand drugs to “transition” and undergo surgical mutilation. After all, stories of detransitioners are becoming more and more known and this data factoid is starting to gain ground:
…Published in October, the draft seems to put greater emphasis on the possibility that, for some, particularly pre-pubescent, children, this may be a “transient phase”.
And many of those detransitioners are now admitting that they thought going trans would solve their mental health issues – and it didn’t. The chicken before the egg here is that they are admitting that they didn’t deal with those mental health issues FIRST before considering drugs and a knife to solve those issues.
Some point to puberty, periods and unease with a changing body shape coinciding with the interest in becoming gender non-conforming. Others have questioned whether their child’s autism might be a relevant factor. (The Cass report stated that approximately one-third of children and young people being referred to the Tavistock had autism or other types of neurodiversity.) And others wonder if pre-existing signs of depression and mental health problems have been the cause or the result of gender uncertainty. Possible influences they cite include childhood bullying, sexual harassment and abuse and the hyper-sexualisation of society, or a child’s early understanding of sexism, making them feel it may be easier to live as a man than as a woman.
And we, as Parents and “Prove it!” type folks ought to be demanding much more in the way of peer-reviewed studies with methodologies that can be replicated. They hate that part.
Children and adolescents suffering from gender dysphoria in the U.S. need treatment guided by a systematic review of the evidence, according to philosopher Moti Gorin, a professor at Colorado State University, in a November 17 essay for The Hastings Center, a bioethics research institute. American medicine is a global outlier here, as other countries such as Sweden, Finland and the United Kingdom have conducted their own reviews and have pulled back on treatment with drugs and surgery based on the findings, Gorin (pictured) wrote. Gorin pointed to an investigative report that found some U.S. clinics will prescribe puberty blocker drugs or hormones without a thorough evaluation, even after a single meeting, according to Reuters.
The guidelines of major U.S. medical organizations, like the Endocrine Society and the American Academy of Pediatrics, “are not based on systematic reviews of the benefits of these treatments,” according to Gorin. Meanwhile, Sweden, Finland, and the United Kingdom, which have conducted their own reviews of the evidence, all recommend therapy, psychiatric care and treatment for accompanying disorders, such as depression, Gorin wrote. They discourage surgery or drugs like puberty blockers in most cases.
The time to conduct a systematic review is now. There has been a sharp increase in the number of minors diagnosed with gender dysphoria in the U.S. An analysis of insurance claims found that in 2017, 15,172 patients aged 6 to 17 were diagnosed with gender dysphoria; in 2021, the number grew to 42, 167, an increase of roughly 300%. Other countries have also seen an increase in minors presenting with gender dysphoria….
Given the vulnerability of youths with gender dysphoria, inconsistencies in clinical guidance for treating these patients are both ethically concerning and medically consequential. A patient in Sweden, Finland, or England will receive blockers or cross-sex hormones only in exceptional circumstances, while some clinics in the U.S. will prescribe them after a single meeting…
Summed up in two words: shoddy and profit.
And School Districts and School Board Associations are really starting to rethink their trans activism, often with leaving their trumpeted policies now on the floor. Why? Parents are tired of seeing their Constitutional and Parental Rights tossed aside in the name of progress and anti-religion bigotry and are bringing lawsuits. LIke that which has happened to that Randolph school District where a boy decided to call himself a trans girl and sat in the locker room and (reportedly) oogled the teenaged girls volleyball players in various states of undress in their locker room. And when these normal girls, already at that vulnerable age, complained, THEY lost their “right” to the locker room. A lawsuit is turning that around:
Lawyers representing Randolph Union High School (RUHS) in Randolph, Vermont, persuaded school officials to drop their threats of punishment upon receiving a 124-page lawsuit filed by the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF).
At issue: the school’s determination to force its transgender policies upon a 14-year-old girl and her father. For daring to question those policies — i.e., complaining when a male who declared himself to be a female entered the girls’ locker room to observe them undressing — RUHS officials demanded that the student, Blake Allen, “take part in a restorative circle … to help her understand the rights of [transgender] students to access public accommodation … in a manner consistent with their [self-proclaimed] gender identity.”
School officials also demanded that her father, Travis Allen, apologize for a Facebook post challenging the mother of the transgender male/female over the veracity of a Facebook post she made defending her transgender male/female son/daughter.
Travis Allen and his fourteen-year-old daughter, Blake, were punished for expressing their views on a matter of profound public concern: whether a teenage male who identifies as female should be permitted to change in a girls’ locker room regardless of the discomfort experienced by girls in that room.
In objecting to a male being in the room while the girls are changing, Travis and Blake each made comments underscoring that the trans-identifying student is in fact a male, including by using male pronouns.
Indeed, their view of the student’s maleness was foundational to their opinions on appropriate use of the locker room.
Yet, their remarks were too much for Defendants’ transgender orthodoxy — Travis was deemed to have “” the student, while Blake was found guilty of “harassment” and “bullying” — so Defendants disciplined both of them.

And last time I looked, the politically made up term “misgendering” (and its associated twin “deadnaming”) isn’t a criminal offense. I’m betting a lot of Trans activists would LOVE to have both codified into law – they don’t care about Free Speech. Fortunately, they aren’t.
It’s happening here in NH as well – I’ve “won” 1/2 my lawsuit against the Gilford School Board in removing the coercion of Government mandated speech (“preferred pronouns”) from their policy. Still working on the “lying to Parents about their child’s transgender status” bit, though.
ADF claimed that by doing so the school officials violated the Allens’ First and Fourteenth Amendment rights:
Defendants are state actors and violate the First Amendment when they attempt to dictate what may be said on matters of public concern. And they cannot discriminate against speech on the basis of its viewpoint.
Yet, that is exactly what happened here. Defendants punished Travis and Blake for saying that a male is a male, as a matter of sex and biology, regardless of the gender identity that the male has assumed.
Fourteenth, eh? I’m going to have to look into that more…

Until recently, activists were able to hide behind a very limited number of studies, some of which even seemed to confirm what those activists wanted to hear. No more. With a 900% increase in young people claiming gender dysphoria over the percentage of Gen Xers who claim likewise, the amount of data in recent years has sharply increased.*
The data is overwhelming. Contrary to what is consistently filling our newsfeeds, there is a disturbing lack of evidence that intervening in a child’s gender development produces beneficial results of any kind. More than that, many studies are showing a strong potential for lasting harm.

Not any healthier or safer?
Sexual revolutionaries care about the revolution, not safety or prevention, which is why all data to the contrary will be ignored.
Sexualizing childhood in the name of harm reduction is the latest roll in our rolling sexual revolution. We are told that childhood sexual education is necessary to prevent suicide and interpersonal violence, prevent AIDS, avoid pregnancy, and build a safe environment in schools. According to what is known as “minority stress” theory, people with non-heterosexual orientations experience an endless series of microaggressions, overt rejections, invidious discrimination, or stigmatization that undermines their psychiatric and physical health.
And indeed, the social environment has become much less stressful for sexual minorities than it was 50 years ago. The average age for coming out of the closet among Americans has decreased from 26 years old for those roughly born in the 1970s to 16.9 years old for those born in this century. The average age for same-sex sexual activity is decreased from 19.2 years old for those born in the 1970s to 16.3 for the younger cohort, driven by “marked improvements in the social and legal environments for sexual minorities,” according to UCLA epidemiologist Ilan Meyer. But less stress has not brought with it the better health that the minority stress model predicted. In fact, nearly all psychological and physical problems persist at just about the same rate they did before the gay rights movement.
According to Meyer’s study, “we found little evidence that the social and legal improvements during the past 50 years … have altered the experience of sexual minorities people in terms of exposure to minority stressors and resultant adverse mental health outcomes.” Younger cohorts have higher suicide attempt rates (30 percent) than the older cohort (21 percent). The younger group reports more everyday discrimination, more psychological distress, more stigma, and more internalized homophobia. All in all, according to these scholars, “our findings are clearly inconsistent with the [minority stress] hypothesis.”
In another study, J. Michael Bailey, an early adopter of the minority stress model in the 1990s, could find “no evidence to support” minority stress predictions and, he acknowledges, that “there is much evidence against it.”
Greater tolerance of sexual minorities has not led to better health outcomes or lower suicide rates or to decreases in neuroticism among gay men. Health and psychological results in the tolerant Netherlands, Bailey points out, are not much different from the results of the supposedly intolerant United States. Suicide rates barely budged in nations that have adopted same-sex marriage.
Appealing to widely-accepted values like safety and prevention in order to promote sexual identity education to children was a deliberate rhetorical strategy from LGBT advocates. Kevin Jennings, founder of the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), delivered a speech to gay activists on March 5, 1995, laying out the strategy:
If the Radical Right can succeed in portraying us as preying on children, we will lose. GLSEN developed “Safe Space Kits” under Jennings’ leadership. It supplied these kits to schools free of charge. These kits recommended the establishment of ally clubs, playing short films, and using gay-friendly lesson plans and special LGBT themed books in classes. They were all designed to address anti-LGBT prejudice. It was all about prevention.
For Meyer, continued psychological and physiological health disparities are sufficient to show that minorities must be stressed. As they put it, their findings “call attention to the continued need to recognize threats to the health and well-being of sexual minority people across all ages and to remind us that LGBT equality remains elusive.”
Clearly, the only answer LGBT advocates see is to step on the gas. We must accelerate the sexual revolution and expand sexual identity awareness education to ever earlier ages in order to relieve the stress of sexual minorities. Improvements in their health and safety will only come when the sexual revolution has achieved its end. Even incremental improvements cannot be expected until then.
Sexual revolutionaries care about the revolution — not safety or prevention, so all data to the contrary will be ignored or turned to the advantage of the revolution. We see this in the current monkeypox debate, where the transmission of the disease is obscured so as not to stigmatize the gay community by calling attention to certain extreme sexual practices that many gays consider essential to their identity. Whereas masking and social isolation were widely accepted as the indicated means to prevent the spread of Covid, asking gay men to limit their sexual activity to stop the spread of monkeypox is called unrealistic and hateful.
Note that monkeypox quickly disappeared from the media’s radar screens once it became clear that it was yet another homosexual disease based on voluntary interactions.
Scientists who are interested in reality must see that health problems are endemic in the gay community, and not because of a lack of sensitivity on the part of society. Suicide is more prevalent precisely because of dynamics sown into rejecting one’s body as a guide to one’s identity. Anal cancer among gay men is not caused by stigma.
When confronted with reality, sexual revolutionaries embrace an endless, rolling revolution. Science is not likely to guide us out of the revolution, but a willingness to see will — and sometimes science still would have us see.

Depending on who you ask, Marxism must evolve from an agrarian to an industrial/capitalist ‘look’ before true Communism can get to work and create the utopia we’ve been promised. But Marxism is an economic fairy tale told by an idgit that always ends the same way.
It’s a totalitarian autocracy or oligarchy that proves a government that promises you everything can take it away. Just ask the dissident Chinese, residents of Taiwan, and women in Iran (a faith-based Marxist/Fascist despotism) how it’s working out.
Let’s call it Communism with Communist characteristics.
Another soviet style tactic to enjoin the “take it away” clause is rapidly developing in the west. The disagreeable get diagnosed with a mental illness and treated accordingly (drugs, confinement, … reeducation).
COVID proved it was possible, and depending on where you live, being healthy without the benefit of “vaccination” could be grounds for therapy and the introduction of psychotropic drugs and observation with the option for restraint if you protest too much.
While not every “western nation” is ready to make that leap (Australia, Canada, and New Zealand seem prepared to run with it), other forms of Despotism along the Marxist/Fascist line are finding acceptance under the umbrella of saving the planet. Green was always red. Still, another thing COVID demonstrated was some tolerance for an authoritarian itch if you made it scary enough. The Watermellon Marxists have been at this for decades, but a few have decided it’s now or never.
In Oxfordshire, England, the local despots on the County Council have decided to take a more significant leap to the left and constrict the movement of the people with a WEF/NWO idea called the 15-minute city.
Oxfordshire County Council yesterday approved plans to lock residents into one of six zones to ‘save the planet’ from global warming. The latest stage in the ’15 minute city’ agenda is to place electronic gates on key roads in and out of the city, confining residents to their own neighbourhoods.
Under the new scheme if residents want to leave their zone they will need permission from the Council who gets to decide who is worthy of freedom and who isn’t. Under the new scheme residents will be allowed to leave their zone a maximum of 100 days per year, but in order to even gain this every resident will have to register their car details with the council who will then track their movements via smart cameras round the city.
These experts will factionalize their territory with movement controls that will (presumably) require internal tracking/passports in the name of Climate Lockdowns. Oxfordshire, which includes Oxford College England, will test the program out in 2024, assuming the people don’t come to their senses and replace (depose) the county council that wants to impose it.
We’re talking Chinese smart-city 101, which leads to social credit scores, and the “everyone is an informant” carrot/stick culture that follows. Let’s call it England with Chinese Characteristics, though I think we can agree not so Great Britain has been on this road for some time, and the Oxfordshire County Council is what you get when you stay on that path.
I don’t imagine they can put up much resistance after decades of making excuses for allowing themselves to be disarmed by the government. And the brain trust at Oxford College is probably in love with the idea.
And I’d bet the real test isn’t whether climate lockdowns do any of the planet-saving things the climateers promise. It’s about the willingness of the peasants to be herded like the sheep their “leaders” believe them to be.

The two largest Cities in New Hampshire, Manchester, and Nashua, both have experienced democratic leaders. Nashua elected Mayor Jim Donchess and Manchester elected Mayor Joyce Craig.
Last year, Manchester released updated assessments as part of the DRA required process for maintaining property equity. Manchester saw sharp increases in their assessments due to the rapidly accelerating residential real estate market. The commercial and industrial properties did not rise at the same rate as residential properties which created a tax shift onto the residential properties. This correlated with higher tax bills for many.
Manchester did a good job, early on, trying to prepare property owners for the new assessments. In September 2021, the preliminary tax rate was released in conjunction with the new assessments so property owners would understand the tax implications and save for their December bills. Mayor Craig wisely put all the bad news out to the public at once.
Not once did Mayor Craig blame the state for requiring properties to be assessed fairly. She never stated that if it were her choice, she simply would have chosen not to perform the update. Rather, as expected of a leader, she held forums and supported the work of the contractor and assessing office.
Nashua’s Mayor took a different approach to public relations regarding the new assessments. Nashua saw the same assessment trends as seen in Manchester’s 2021 data. The tax burden shifted to residential properties and many property owners received shocking tax bills.
Nashua’s Mayor did little to prepare the public. No explanatory letter was sent to property owners in the July or December tax bills. Nashua property assessments were released in September, but the Mayor kept the estimated tax rate tight to the vest, choosing non-disclosure. The rate was released in November, when the tax bills were mailed to property owners, leaving little time to scrap together the additional money.
Unlike Mayor Craig, Mayor Donchess repeatedly blamed the state for creating statewide rules to maintain fair and uniform property assessments. The Mayor’s declarations of blame most recently occurred at the November 22, 2022 Board of Alderman Meeting. the Mayor stated:
…The revaluation is a state-mandated State ordered revaluation one that we were required to do following a very detailed set of State rules, state regulations and state laws, now it is not something that I would have chosen to do at this time…
The Mayor’s position to publicly disavow the process of maintaining equitable data leaves Nashua’s assessing office with a credibility and moral problem. Who wants to work for a Mayor who disparages the process and their important work?
Mayor Donchess backed a $303 million, Board approved, City Budget The Mayor’s choice to fund many new projects contributed to a higher tax rate, but this Mayor is masterful at placing the blame elsewhere.
No one likes a bigger tax bill. Mayor Donchess’ tactics to ambush citizens and then blame the state for the process is cowardice. Let’s find a leader for Nashua that knows how to shoulder responsibility.

Go read it and then read this comment from Bill589‘s description that it doesn’t have to be this way because it WASN’T always this way. It took our educational system, infested with SJWs and race-baiters, in turning the movement to be racial colorblind to strictly seeing Society through the dark lens of the Left’s racism:

It wasn’t until 4th grade at school that I learned a best friend was truly different. And we were told that my friend was ‘black’ and I was ‘white’.
I remember while walking the couple miles home I told my friend that I am not white. I am tan. A little darker here and there especially in the summer.
My friend told me that he was brown and gold. He lifted up his shirt and pushed out his stomach. He bent backwards so much he dropped one of his school books…. And his stomach was a beautiful gold.
Our parents raised us right. It took our public school to teach us that race is important = racism.
While the intentions MAY have been good (yes, I highly doubt it), race-grievance has been flourish for decades and rankes #2 in my eyes in splitting Americans apart (with Progressive gender identity politics shoving it aside to now be #1). It didn’t used to be this way as I agree with Bill589. Our education has gone from “we’re all one” to enhancing the perpetual struggle and war between each tiny subset of the Democrat identity politics groupings. It isn’t part of the solution – it is a good part of the problem.
